You’re welcome! I am happy to share the DIY projects I do to help other homeowners. DIY saves money and I want to help others so they too can fix things around the house.
@digitalcamproducer It's going to. I ordered the part right away after watching. I have the exact same refrigerator with the same problem. I'm a life-long do-it-yourselfer but I was not aware of how the spring action worked. Thanks to you, now I know!
Yeah I saw other videos that said to raise the front feet up but I really didn’t think that was the issue since my fridge had been closing no problem for almost 20 years. I think even if the front of the fridge was low the door would still close on it’s own if the plastic cam was in good shape.
Great video! actually showing how the cams sit down inside of each other when the door is closed and also shows how the cams are offset by about 45 degrees. So the cams need to be screwed into the door at the same 45 degree of offset. However the Viking door i am repairing had cams that line up straight on top of each other when closed. There is not another screw hole to offset them. I have not been able to find cams that sit inside of each other and aligned on top of each other when closed to replace the ones I have. Do you have any suggestions? Trying to reach Viking has not been successful. Thank you! JD
Glad you enjoyed my video. Unfortunately I am not familiar with what Viking door cams are like. In fact this is the first time I’ve encountered this door problem on a fridge. Sorry I can’t be of help with your fridge.
Sorry I’m not sure if the part I used is compatible with the model you asked about. On the parts page they should have a listing of all the compatible refrigerators. I would also compare the pictures with the actual lights you have.
Thank you to the man who's helping many homes 🙏

Fantastic video! Thank you!

I cranked the legs all the way up and lightened the load on the door. Didn’t help…glad I watched your video

Thanks man my 17 year old kitchen aid having this same problem. Freezer door cam looks ok and closes on its own but the fridge side looks crushed
It’s an easy fix as you saw in the video. You’ll have your left fridge door working like normal again with a new cam.
That will save the wife from shouting at me for leaving the door ajar
Haha! For sure! It’s an inexpensive and easy fix.
Do you know if that kit you link support kitchen aid model kscs25ftms02?

I meant cams not lights!
@@digitalcamproducer I went ahead and bought it, installed and it works 🙂. Had to expand the hole for the bottom one a bit to fit
Glad my video was helpful!
My newer oe cam seem to be damaged already.
