Hi y'all did such a grt job that was alot of work i take my hat of to your hubby he did a grt job! Your are so lucky to hv a hubby that knows how to save money bu doing it yourselves. God bless your fam. Take care of that man lucky to hv each other . El pado Tx.
What a beautiful transformation. Your husband did such a great job!! I love the fire pit, play area for the kiddos, and the overall feel of your backyard space. Thank you for sharing your backyard transformation. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗🤗😊😊
Your dog near the middle-ish end (is that a word?! It is now lol) just inspecting the hard work. Everything looks amazing!!! Thats a lot of freaking work.
Some hard labor!! I'm so impressed, w your vitality, youth, love for your family, + dedication. Loved seeing this. Never realized it before, but, do wish you had a wide angle on your camera. Guess we get spoiled on You Tube, huh?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. When we put together this complication video showing the entire transformation, we were using videos that were filmed in a few different formats (some vertical for other social media platforms that we're active on, like Instagram). Totally understand that a wider angle is preferable and we'll try to keep this feedback in mind for future videos! :)
Love your video! You are all doing an amazing job! That concrete landing you took out...Wouldn't it be great to take future plans on around the corner of the house with patio extending....?! And! Sorry to comment early because your plan is gorgeous!
I enjoyed the results of each project more with each succeeding project. I especially love your paver patio! Very family friendly and an enormous improvement. You must be so proud. Congratulations.
Unfortunately I don't have detailed records still of the costs for a lot of this. Also prices, I'm sure, have changed a lot since we completed this makeover 3 years ago. If I had to guess on the price for the paver patio items, I'd estimate $4,000 for the cost of the materials alone... but that is largely dependent on the size and type of pavers you purchase.
The opening is where a sprinkler valve box was located. We have since put a wood covering over it since it really wasn't worth the time and energy to move those sprinkler lines and valves.
couldn't you seal the rubber somehow, you will have it everywhere and it is probably not so great to walk on. Also, very difficult to maintain and keep clean. I think that is the bit you will be redoing in a year or so.
The rubber compacts fairly well but there is maintenance along with it. We decided with this rubber because it is actually very comfortable and our kids have no issues walking barefoot on it.
Aesthetic result but so much plastic and other artificial stuff ! Do you really need to destroy the soil, kill everything that lived there?... Seems to me like a dead land 🥺
There is definitely a balance with weed control and natural landscaping. Ultimately we tried to make a yard our kids and dogs can enjoy w/o using various chemicals to kill weeds each year.
Your husband work so hard. He did a great job

Thanks, we're so thankful for it!
It looks awesome u will have many yrs of happy memories. One question is what is that square space under the kids picnic table. ❤❤
That space is where a control box for sprinkler valves is located. We have since made a wood cover for that square.

Would you make another video of the cost breakdown? Preferably the Patio

How long did these projects take? It turned out beautiful
Oh goodness, this took us several months! Most of these projects were completed during a span of 6 months or so.
What is the opening under the picnic table in the patio for?
The opening is where a sprinkler valve box was located. We have since put a wood covering over it since it really wasn't worth the time and energy to move those sprinkler lines and valves.
Beautiful transformation n look forward for next video. I enjoy this kind of video.
Yay! Thank you!

I think that black stuff is toxic. Be careful
This talk is getting on my nerves. Solution: playback speed to 2... sound off... now it's interesting!
Feel free to watch however you'd like :) some people want commentary - others just want to watch the action.
@@MakingManzanita Thanks , your work is perfectly and i enjoy it .
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
