Thanks for the video! I've finally fixed the latches on my '08 where the power locks haven't worked for 14 years! I would never have attempted this without this video. A few notes on my experience changing both sides. DO NOT pry up the door control panel from the rear (about 30 seconds in). This breaks the rear clip that extends under the door panel about a half an inch. The door mounted control panels are designed to be pried up from the front. After you have it open and see how the clips are designed you'll see why. Putting the outside door handle connecting rod in after installing the latch makes it easier, just don't forget to put in the plastic rod guide on the latch before installing it. I re-used the ones from the old latch. The vapor barrier only needs to be peeled off half way. The bottom bracket can stay on, the latch fits nicely through the top hole.
great video! if yall had the part in stock i would have bought it. worth noting that step one of aligning the new part is setting the lock cylinder cross first, helps to shove the lock assembly in rotated so the cross acceptor doesnt push the cross away...then line up the mounting and electronic holes. It was definitely a coordinated dance to get this installed but i appreciate the confidence this video gave me!

+LONEHYPE It could be the door lock actuator. We always recommend getting your vehicle professionally diagnosed as we cannot diagnose online. Thanks for watching.
