Found the video! Is the brass tube/rod a big box store thing, or should I try a specialty store? I’m in Canada, so our big stores don’t always stock the same stuff.
That looks awesome. And it may actually get some use in that corner if you have a rookie driver on the course.. I can see cars flying off track right there for sure.
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage Hey Boone, How tall are the legs on your layout, 2" or 3"? @ $46 CarreraSlots.com and $53 Mark Twain Hobby, "www.hobby1.com/" {local store in my area} a car. So, I feel the Need, the NEED for a Crash Fence Too 😅!
@@djangofreeman5085 mine is 42" that way I can still use the space underneath! i keep those interlocking foam pads on the floor around the track just is case.
Another great project Boone! One thing though, the horizontal bar below the gate could be a nasty trip hazard! In 1:1 scale it would normally either be non-existent or buried below ground level.
Thanks Barry, yes I was trying to get it down further, but the ground is uneven do to the berm . I eventually was able to get it to lay closer , but will attend to this on the next video..
Question concerning the safety wire. I had commented on your straw bale episode asking about what gauge wire you would recommend for bales on my HO raceway. Do you think this wire would be appropriate?
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage …. I’ve successfully searched the internet, but I’ll go to my hometown stores to see if they carry it before I buy online. Thanks again for another fantastic episode. I may never do some of the builds you share, but I do enjoy and learn something new with every video 😎🤙
Hey Boone, how about some videos on painting cars? With your artistic skills I’m sure you could enlighten guys like me. I’m planning purchasing model cars and mounting to universal chassis and need to know best type paint and anything else. Thx
Thanks Dennis, that video is on the list of things to do... have a few resin bodies that I have built up and I just received a full box today in the mail so this video might be sooner than later....
Another fantastic project B, looks sweet 👍🏼!
Thank you
