Fantastic idea. I would like to try this project but using my sillouette cutter and permanent vinyl. Rather than waterslide. My inkjet ive used for printing tshirts for the past 7! Years finally died. Id like to find a away to wire all my lit accessories into the same circuit and have one switch. I guess I need to build a layout first.
Was thinking of you masked off where the 76 goes (have to paint it on the outside) you might get it to light up even better. It is a very cool addition and other fuel stations could be done up the same way even if they didn't have that shape of sign.
Thanks Paul, I do plan on a future video showing that process. But I wanted to show a way that is easier for a person that might struggle with electrical circuits. And at the time that I made this video, I didn’t have its final resting place prepared, so to show it this way seemed to make sense.... this idea jumped in my head with this sign and I just had to do it... lol... funny how my head works sometimes...
Bibendum, b.k.a. the Michelin Man 😂😉😏? I think I may have an Idea on how to do it. Or the ABC Cameraman Tower that you have next to your custom grand stand that you made 3sweeks ago? ! ?
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage My idea is to fill various shaped balloons with expanding foam. Once they're filled, try to shape them a little, let them cure, cut them out of the ballons reshape them where it's necessary based on web images of " Bibendum " and try to make it look as close as possible!
@@markbuterbuagh4971 very cool, I made a Riverside tower for my layout. HO can be very cool since you have a good chance at creating the original track to scale.
@@markbuterbuagh4971 if you plan on having a track that you are going to have racing at , I recommend 6 , but if this is more of a home style layout, I would go with 4… the main reason is a 4 lane can give you the room and appearance of the real track more than a 6 lane

Thanks Rob , I have since wired this into my electrical switch for the layout lights. Works great 👍…
Nice job - another neat & easy addition to anyones layout!
Thank you Brad

Why not use an LED via a resistor and wire it into your track transformer via a switch? Great idea my 76 sign
