Freezer meals might not be everyone's favorite but for me, they save me a lot of time during the week! I also love love love that I can make extra meals and gift them! It's a win win! What are some of your go-tos for freezer meals!? I know many of you have shared you just prep the basics but I find its easier to make the whole meal and freeze it so later when I'm busy I can just put the meal in the oven vs putting the meal together but both are really amazing options to have in your freezer!
That is so thoughtful of you to plan to donate your meals to others! My church used to have a casserole ministry where you could pick up a recipe card from the church, make the casserole, and then put the casserole in a refrigerator at the back of the church. Then, when people came by during the week asking for food, the casseroles were ready to go.
Just letting you know that I love your videos. You give me hope for simple recipes that are healthy. Please keep it up. You are an inspiration budget wise, health wise, and all kinds of ways. Stay you!!!
Awesome ideas! I don't ever seem to have any room in my freezer, but these are great ideas for meals! Going to try your pasta sauce recipe- my husband needs low sodium pasta sauce and I'm sick of paying $5 a jar!!
Wow! .68Cents for peppers! Excellent deal. Here it's cheaper to by the frozen bag for $1.97. Fresh is usually at least $4/pound. But up I"m up north in Southern, AB, Canada. Love that lil chopper!
I recently watched a video where someone put a wet paper towel on their cutting board while cutting onions; tried it and it worked!! Thank you for always posting such amazing videos!! 💕
Hi, I've watched your channel for a while and I still love how simple you keep your meals. In the UK the better than bouillon is around £14 a jar from amazon. It is good stuff but boy it's pricey over here. Love that you help people with your food. May God bless you and all that receive your delicious meals xx
The grinder works great for nuts and seeds too... also make your own oat flour or a super fine nooch. Thanks for the sauce recipe. Even though I only purchase glass, I can only have so many jars around and who knows what is actually getting recycled around here. ♻️
I love your simple recipes, been on the hunt for that bullion (fingers crossed I find it) and I always wanted to try making a few freezer meals, but they always seemed kinda daunting or expensive. Watching you make easy meals on a budget really inspires me to try. Thank you for that! PS: I totally gotta try making that tomato soup cause it's my favorite and adding beams just means more protein with equals fuller belly. Win win 🖤
Love the video Miranda! Wholesome recipes that are easy to prep and budget friendly! Right up my alley. :) Also, your hair looks nice! Aren't new kitchen appliances so exciting to receive? I love it. I have been on a crockpot binge lately. All about little meal prep and little clean up. Thank you for your work! -Nix-
For the onions, try holding a slice of bread in your mouth (it needs to hang out of your mouth, so only hold a corner of the bread in your mouth) as you cut them. It sounds crazy, but my hubby taught me this old Italian trick and it’s amazing!
Hi, thank you again for this video. For the onions, i wear diving or swimming glasses (sorry i don't know the right words in english) when i peel them and cut them, and believe me it works ! Sabine
I love your videos. The other amount of lentils I would of added taco seasoning to for nachos, tacos or tostadas. I made some lentils yesterday in my rice cooker. I added a little rice and curry with some tomato sauce to it. For flavor I added a whole jalapeño. The combination tasted really good. I want to try the shephards pie that you made. Looks delicious as do all the meals. Stay safe.
Hi Miranda! Have you ever worn safety glasses that resemble a snorkel mask? Not the mouth piece but just the eye covering. Your eyes are completely sealed in and it has a strap that goes all around your head. I had to wear those at my job when I was maintaining the machinery, and I decided to take them home and wear them to chop onions. It’s a game changer. You will look crazy, but it’s worth it. 🤓
When chopping onions put a wet paper towel next to the onion on the corner of the chopping block. The onion smell ?? will go to the wet paper towel.... GAME CHANGER!!
Thank you for this video! I've been on the hunt for a good instant pot lentil recipe that didn't leave so much juice. I will definitely be making that shepard's pie tonight 😍
For my wedding I got an immersion blender that has a mini chopper and I use it all the time! It got chipped so we bought a spare for when it starts to leak. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger food processor, but my kitchenaid mixer has shreds attachments for me so there really isn’t a point to take up more space.
When I wear my contact lenses, onions don't bother me but I cry like a baby when I wear my glasses. The only thing I can think of is that the contacts protect the onion juice from getting into my eyes.
I bought 6 large onions yesterday on sale st 29cents/lb so I going to use that tip and chop the all to freeze. I will use my onion 🌰 push down chopper so I don't 🥺 cry. Lol I rarely buy peppers cause I can't pay $1 per pepper. 😫 Good job on these meals. 👍they look delicious and easy. I like chunky soups so I'd just throw all those ingredients in the instant pot 😋 yummy either way.
I love your videos 😊They make me happy 😁 I’m definitely trying your tomato soup and shepherds pie recipes🙌 all your food looks delicious ‼️ I just purchased your ebook😊😊
Onions: Wet cloth literally next to it almost touching, Use white onions instead, and pop them into the refrigerator for until they are cold all the way. promise. life. changing.
I had a wet cloth next to my cutting board AND my onions were in the fridge for 3 days! I think it might be the yellow onions +++ very sensitive eyes 🤣🤣🤣 but hey all the hacks are worth trying!!
I wear a snorkeling mask when I sliced onions. It covers my eyes and my nose. Yes I look like a weirdo in my kitchen wearing this mask, but I never once cried cutting onions because of it.
I used to buy a net of 3 large onions and chop and freeze them but lately one of them is usually rotten. Now I buy ready chopped from the freezer section and there's no waste and it saves time, money and effort. Do they not sell them ready chopped in the U.S.?
@@flourishingmiranda - Thats right! I remember you showing the simple truth brand in a previous video but I couldn’t remember that was it. Which Ranch Seed is your favorite? Thanks! 🙏🏻

Love your desire to give meals to people with food insecurity. Love your spirit and heart.
Love that you used foil pans so that you can gift them to people! 💛
Thank you! ❤️
I watched this the other day and I'm just making it back over her to remind you how creative you are with meals on a budget. :)
I love to add that bullion to mashed potatoes! It's so good. You don't even have to add seasoning - it's like gravy mixed in. 😊
oh yum!! I've made mushroom gravy with it to add to mashed potatoes but need to just throw it in!
Just letting you know that I love your videos. You give me hope for simple recipes that are healthy. Please keep it up. You are an inspiration budget wise, health wise, and all kinds of ways. Stay you!!!

You are such a kind human! Sending all the good vibes your way

Awww I’m so glad!!
OMG!!!! THIS TOMATO SOUP IS THE BOMB!!!!! I AM GOING TO MAKES THIS!!!!!!
I keep a couple of onions in the fridge. I never cry when cutting now.

I tried this! It didn’t work for me. I might have extremely sensitive onion issues 🤣🙃
Bless your husband! Always be grateful for him!

I bet you have other items that are similar for cheaper!
This is a thing here too in the US with a lot of products which makes you question why diary is in so many things

Great meals and I was looking for some no oil recipes. Also a Lifetime movie fan! Keep up the good work. Thank you for the ideas.

I'm so going to try some! I'm a busy, working mom and I would love an easy, healthy meal that's easier than pizza ;)
Great ideas! Can’t wait to try them. Thanks

Such great ideas/easy recipes as always!
Thank you!
I LOVE the nutritional yeast from winco! It’s so good!
Everything looked so good!
I was actually SO SURPRISED by the flavor!
For additional nutritional value, you can also add some cooked/canned carrots to your blend of tomato soup.
Great freezer meals - I do love the pasta dish! Yummm!
Keep the root on the onion until the last minute and that should stop your eyes watering! 😁
All these meals look wonderful
Thank you for this video! I've been on the hunt for a good instant pot lentil recipe that didn't leave so much juice. I will definitely be making that shepard's pie tonight 😍

I made your mushroom soup for Saturday night dinner. It was SO good!
I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
Could you use your new appliance for chopping the onions maybe? ☺️ Otherwise ski goggles really help! Weird but true! :)

Yes $1 to per pepper is a lot! Okay maybe I just need an onion chopper!!!
I love your videos 😊They make me happy 😁 I’m definitely trying your tomato soup and shepherds pie recipes🙌 all your food looks delicious ‼️ I just purchased your ebook😊😊
Thank you Ruth!
Thank you for some great ideas and encouragement💕
Try chewing minty gum or mints while you chop onions. It works well for me and I keep the mints by the onions so I don't forget lol

I’m really sad that the food processor is now unavailable on Amazon (Jan 22). I haven’t seen one like that before. It would be perfect for the RV.
Onions :all you could do is:1 Glas water put next to you and no cry
Have you tried putting a wet towel near the cutting board when chopping onions? The onion will go into the towel and not your eyes.
I wear a snorkeling mask when I sliced onions. It covers my eyes and my nose. Yes I look like a weirdo in my kitchen wearing this mask, but I never once cried cutting onions because of it.
Thank you for this!!! Was looking for freezer friendly recipes. Just out of curiosity, how long did it took you to prep all these?
About an hour for it all- but I was filming so it is very doable in an hour or less!
Just saw a video said to use a wet paper towel rolled up where you are chopping the onions! Hmmm???
I had one on the side- it was a no go for me!
@@flourishingmiranda , I should have known,, lol
Have you tried wearing goggles when you chop onions? It looks ridiculous but works really well
oh no never tried that one LOL probably will just take the watery eyes not sure this is something I'll ever try!
Oh, come on MiRanda!!! I want to see you wearing goggles while chopping onions in your next video! 😍 😂😛
Minty gum works great for me
My husband doesn’t like olives and artichokes, so what could I use in place of?
sundried tomatos would taste great i think!
@@Diana-nf2ps good idea 👍🏻 thanks!!!

They do! But they’re like $1.79 a bag and I can get the same amount of raw onion for 39c and I don’t mind chopping and freezing them myself!
What are your favorite brands of nutritional yeast?
Simple Truth from kroger is my favorite!! And Ranch seed which is a flavored on from amazon! It comes in a variety of flavors
@@flourishingmiranda - Thats right! I remember you showing the simple truth brand in a previous video but I couldn’t remember that was it. Which Ranch Seed is your favorite? Thanks! 🙏🏻
