Thanks for the great recipes for smaller meals! A tip for leftover canned tomato paste.....put the remainder in an ice cube tray or just scoop out tablespoon-sized blobs onto parchment or foil. Freeze and then bag them so you'll have just the portions you need for the next recipe. :)

I have followed you from the beginning, I've been trying to my kids & grandkids to use these recipes. They said they didn't room in the freezer! Grandma got them a small freezer for these meals! Mom so excited, she's setting up the pantry! Last time I visited I brought my favorites, ones I thought the boys (teens) would like!! The boys love to make their bags, they can have a hot meal after school before they go to work or sports. Mom & dad work odd hrs & she loves not being awakened because someone's hungry. Grocery bill down, eating healthier instead of junk food! Still have their ramen bowls , healthy noodles, hand full of fav vegetables mix.
I just found your video by accident and am so glad I did. Being a widow and a Sabbath observer (i.e., do not cook on the Sabbath), I sometimes find that either I don't have the energy to cook for the Sabbath (which must be done before twilight on Friday), which means that I buy "catering", which is super expensive. You system is absolutely brilliant and I look forward to trying it. So, I just wanted to say thank you.

I've implemented intermiten fasting and keto. I eat small portions, so I get full on vegetables before I get to the meat portion. I love to cook and was looking for menu ideas. I will cook up meats, portion them per meal and vacuum seal them for freezing. Thank you for these recipes and meal plans. Reversing T2D, one low carb meal at a time.
Thank you for the smaller recipes. My husband passed away several years ago and I don’t cook for myself anymore. But I think with these smaller meals, it will be easier. Plus they are healthy. Thank you thank you thank you
This is a great idea that I will be using because I live on my own by myself and it is hard to cook for one person so this will work out great for me. Thank you for sharing.😅 I also have fibromyalgia and Sjogren’s and I just don’t feel good most of the time so this makes cooking for myself a little bit easier
Im elderly living on my own now, fams grown up and gone, partner passed away.. and I think this is fantastic...i hate cooking, its like Ive been doing it for 300 + yrs lol... thats what it feels like.. but i can see me setting this up for myself.. Im going to do the membership soon thats for sure...just a bit of an edit...your membership is so fantastic.. with all the recipes and choices... well done!! I found your channel last night as I was looking for HEALTHY FREEZER MEALS for a weight loss challenge I am a captain for. I love your apron. I actually have made my own out of towels by cutting then sewing the sides for ties and a hole for my head then sewed the edges

Your beef ,barley stew sounds really good. Need to check and see if i have any left Tip I buy the canned tomato past and measure out by tablespoons and freeze then wrap and put in a zip b\g,I chop my celery,onions and bell Peppers. freeze in containers or zip bags. Always have it ready to measure and add to all recipes.Sure comes in handy in the winter when you want fresh and the prices go up. I do buy the minced garlic in a jar to have on hand. I have adapted a lot of recipes to 20 min skillet meals especiallu stuffed bell peppers use chopped bell peppers and uncooked rice add probably 1 cup or so extra of water put a lid on and cook till rice is done.

I loved this! Very informative! And even tho you have several people in your family, I GREATLY appreciate the fact that you are making smaller meals. Its just the Hubs & I, and a lot of the freezer meal videos I've seen are for large families. I know we can alter the recipes ourselves but it's nice to see them already done for just one or two!

Freeze onto parchment paper the remaining tomato paste into 1 tablespoon units. When frozen, transfer to baggie or other freezer-safe container.

Really like the bags
Buy caned tomato pate. Cut out both ends of the can. Push the paste out of the can by pushing against one end pushing the paste out in a roll onto a piece of plastic wrap big enough to wrap the whole roll of paste. Slice off the can lids from the ends. Gently wrap the paste roll in the plastic wrap and then place in freezer. You can take the frozen paste roll out and unwrap, slice off what you need ,rewrap and store in freezer again. No waste.

Could you make the full recipe in 1 bag and then freeze the leftovers? I only have a large crockpot and I usually would freeze my leftovers (say for Chilli or Soup) in individual containers.
For taste and texture I definitely would not recommend freezing twice!
Try one of them and see if you like it! I have never had an problems freezing my leftovers!

One of your freezer meals has heavy cream ( in another video) in it , I’ve read cream curdles in crockpot, how does yours not?
I was curious about using seal a meal bags? I have at least 200 of them.
If that is what you have, you could certainly use them! They will keep your freezer meals good even longer than zip lock bags do since it removes all the air!

What I do with a can of tomato sauce that I don't use all of it is divide it in an ice cube tray put it in the freezer. Once frozen I popthe cubes out and put them in a freezer bag mark what's in it with the date.😊

The recipes usually say. I usually throw the meal the crock pot on low and go to work and when I come home, dinners ready.
love your recipe ideas. However, can I suggest you fill ALL the chicken bags first wash your hands knife and cutting board before moving onto the next meat. Keep the recipes coming.

Beef should be handled first then chicken as chicken can contaminate the beef not the other way around
I quickly messaged my mom when I saw her cut the chicken and then move on to beef. My words: “tell me you’ve never had a toddler with salmonella poisoning without saying it!”

Can you say e-coli?
They are being frozen and or cooked so it doesn't matter. As long as it's cooked to the right temperature for long enough or frozen long enough it won't be a problem.

Do you put the frozen meal directly from freezer into crockpot or instant pot or do you thaw in fridge the night before?
I always thaw mine for the crockpot especially if it's chicken since crockpots may not get hot enough to cook up the chicken from frozen before bacteria starts building up to make one sick. That's what I do anyhow.
Would you not find it even easier if you cooked the meals before freezing them?
I see you cut off every bit of fat off. I usually trim my meat but not to the degree you are. I’m sure it’s personal preference 😁. I saw some of those freezer bags and stands at Goodwill once. I wish now, I would have bought them. Thank you for sharing all these recipes with us! I’m glad you’re an organized person. It helps us who totally aren’t. Blessings!
you said u didnt want to cross contaminate but u put raw chicken on the cutting board then raw beef. please tell me that u tell ur students not to do that? thats cross contaminating raw meats.
food is getting frozen then cooked, not a big deal, would be if it was going in fridge maybe. be realistic, even if it was contaminated with bacteria its not going to grow in the freezer and will die when cooked. your ancestors ate food of the ground and rotten food all the time. chill out

For the Lemon Chicken with Baby Spinach, there is no liquid...how does this work in the crockpot?
She showed no finished meals because this isn’t a good plan. Don’t give her any money.
I have her membership. A lot of the meals will instruct you to add the liquid on the day of cooking. So you add everything in the bag to the slow cooker or pressure cooker and however much liquid is stated in the recipe (if you print the labels and stick it to your bag you have the instructions right on the bag)
To dry your bags, just put them upside down over your stands.

I noticed that none of your meals have potatoes in them. Do you have recipes that you add potatoes to?
I do have some with potatoes, however freezing meals with potatoes can sometimes be tricky.
Do you just add potatoes before cooking?
Fat is why chuck roast is so good
Not browning the meat before adding it to the crockpot misses the depth of flavor and makes for grey meat. Don’t pay her for this plan.
Can you freeze tomato paste?
I open a can, put plastic wrap in an ice tray and portion out the tomato paste. I freeze it and put it in a ziplock bag for future use.

Her recipes omit mylar affect with this meat. So not only does she waste our time….she doesn’t respect what it takes to bring in the flavor. What a waste of that hour I will never get back.
