Thank You very Much, for this video. I try to remove it whiout taking of thw wheel but was almost Imposible. I remove it in order to Locate a Oil Coler radiator on My St202 JDM .
Yay, I’m glad this was a helpful video. 😀 For sure, it’s way tight in there if you don’t remove the wheel. Do you have an aftermarket set up? With the 3sge engine?
@@NetsGarage I would not have been able to replace the driver side high beam on my 98 convertible with out this video and like someone else mentioned there were plastic clips above the fog lamps
Do you have tips on the convertible motors? Just got a 99 convertible just like yours but sadly the top needs to be manually put up and down for now...
Hi! Perhaps you already know, but there’s a switch in the trunk where you can shift the top manual function off and on. Also, when I had to repair my top motor I took the car to an automotive upholstery shop. They usually take care of tops as well. There’s no need to take it to Toyota, because Toyota didn’t manufacture the tops originally, they were created by a company called ASC. This company no longer exists. You’ll find an ASC placard inside your drivers side door. I hope these random tidbits help. Good luck! I hope you can get your top repaired soon. 😀
@@NetsGarage Awesome! Yeah, I knew most of that already, hopefully I can find a place near me that can fix those motors, I also noticed in one of your videos that you also need to "help" out one of your rear windows. However I don't think that's exactly worth fixing. Here is the nice part though... No leaks.
This is the car that got hit. I actually shot this video the week before the accident. So, no it’s not fixed. It’s totaled. It’s now a parts car, and it’s memory will live on in other cars and on this channel too. 😭😊
Unfortunately, my bumper has something else holding it on, this is so frustrating! It’s more difficult to work on this that my Silvia with the small spaces
@@NetsGarage Haha worked it out in the end. Mine had some plastic fixings just above the fog lights that had to be removed, similarly some more in the centre section of the bumper (pushing into the aluminium support). Yours must have been taken off in the past by someone else and not put back on. It doesn't need it though. I sold my Silvia last year, it was such a fun car but it was time to get rid of it. I received my Celica for free off a friend as he didn't know how to fix it haha
That celica looks well taken care of I have one going to install a new motor hopefully by next month 😏
Thanks! This Celica is quite loved. That’s exciting! Which engine are you going with?
