    I really think you did the best job of setting up a belt out of all the Videos I watched, You gave tips and tricks in detail that where very useful. I really like your Velcro added to make up for the velcro you lost from the Items added on your belt. Good Job.

    I already bought one for helo flights and as a better shooting belt, but this video helped me feel confident about my decision, plus the velcro and thigh strap tips are legit. Thanks, man.

    Two belt systems are da bomb diggity. They stay put and they're easy on, easy off without having to constantly thread and unthread gear. So they're great if you want to run and get lunch or you don't want to bring everything with you into the port-a-potty when the Taco Bell starts rebelling.

    Thanks for putting this up. I decided to finally pull the trigger on one of these belts and I'll be taking some of your advice on how you set things up. Going to ditch my dump pouch, I have an issued canteen holder that works better for dropping extra crap into. Pretty well figured out that the pouch for mags is kind of useless, mags aren't cheap but cleaning up mags after the fact is cheaper. but having a general "I'm in a hurry" pocket is good to have.

    Just finding your channel bro. Really appreciate the way you break this down. I've been out of the game for a while and feeling like I need to get some new gear with the way things are going these days. This belt system looks amazing and wish I had this when I deployed many years ago. Thanks

    I actually have two outer belts and one inner; one outer has my non-firearm configuration for work and the other has my Safariland mag pouch (.40 S&W) and Mid-Rise UBL with QLS 22 Receiver. I still need to get another one for my other handguns, which I need to decide what accessories I'll need to have on it. And yes, I like how you regained the Velcro lost by adding more.

      @@2AlphaTrainingGroup I work as a Correctional Officer, so I only carry a firearm on duty under certain circumstances, so I have different needs depending on what my assigned duties are. Having two different belts makes it easy to be prepared when my supervisor tells me I'm going to be working somewhere I need to carry, and I can unclip my flashlight and put it on either belt as needed.

  • @witkidone

    Cool setup. One question...is that belt mounted into the UBL correctly? I've always seen the belts woven from outside to inside to outside so the area of your waist inside the UBL is cushioned by the belt itself instead of hard kydex/plastic right against your hip. Also it allows the velcro from the inner and outter belts to make contact on both sides as well as in between the mounting loops of the UBL so it holds the holster in place far better. You had yours woven in the opposite manner so i was curious why you chose to go that route.

  • @p.hightower5383
    @p.hightower5383 3 года назад +5

    I may have missed it... But why do you use a standard clip attachments when you have the molle available?
    Wouldn't the molle on the outside be less bulky and not create the need to add additional Velcro to the inside of the belt?

    Very detailed and practical advise. Really appreciate the usefulness of gorilla tape to stop bleeding! Does the UBL fits the 1.75” belt well? Is the stiffness of the BAG belt the key here? Can you tell me how the BAG belt compares to the Safe Life defense molle belt. Your point on the quality of BAG belt (especially the inner velcro one) is what I’m asking about. Thanks for your service and advice.

    • @2AlphaTrainingGroup
      @2AlphaTrainingGroup  4 года назад

      The inner portion of the BAG is pretty stiff and I personally like it's design. The UBL does fit the 1.75. The stiffness of both inner and outer is what makes this belt so ideal.

    If the outer belt is 1.75", and the PALs webs are 0.5" each, then the slot between them would be 0.75", not 1" per the MOLLE spec, right? Doesn't that cause some weird interference when mounting things? I'm thinking of going with the Ferro Bison Belt since it's 2" so that it has the full 1" between the PALs webs.

    only issues i have with the double belts are 1. you have to have the inner belt. what if you are wearing shorts or pants without belt loops? and 2 you have to tuck in your shirt. what do you do if you have a heavy jacket or coat on? tuck in your jacket?

    Good information in this video. I’m not sure why you chose a molle belt and then went with clips to hold all of your gear on. That kinda defeats the purpose.

    • @MatthewN8OHU
      @MatthewN8OHU 4 месяца назад

      I think he said that the Molle belt was a bit thicker and it, along with the added Velcro inside the clip made it even more secure. He also said that using Molle clips makes it harder to reposition things because of how they anchor into the loops.
