We actually just had our annual pre-holiday season meeting where they talked about the same thing. In their words is was less a flat down tick in wine, and more a shift to heavier drinks like spirits. They still seemed pissed about it though since there's a smaller margin on spirits. Overall all, too, alcohol sales seem to be stagnating or slipping in general, and corporate seems more pressed to meet their ambitious revenue gains compared to last year. They've even started mandating so called "bottle goals", where literally every employee at a store, regardless of department, has to set themselves a goal of bottles to sell/advertise to customers (right now it is in fact a spirit brand) every shift. It's getting a bit absurd tbh. 😅

Yeah this will actually be quite bad for Mozilla because all their funding comes from google, and it has been ruled illegal. I am sure Firefox will continue to exist, but unless Mozilla can find funding elsewhere, it will likely have to lay off most of its staff and Firefox development will need to be taken over by the open source community. I am not sure if Firefox will be able to remain competitive with chrome in this circumstance, since browser development is really expensive.

I just cannot see a good outcome, I would rather Google keep Chrome and we get to keep Chromium to use as a base for essentially every other non-Firefox browser.
