- It has now been 3 weeks since my radiation treatment ended so just thought I would share a little cancer journey update. We are still in the waiting period for scans to see if there is still any active cancer. Praying that there is not and would welcome prayers for us to get good news.

Can you put a period pad on at night? My friend used them for leaking oozing non infected sores after surgery.... Don't know if your skin is too fragile. There are sprays to break the glue down that people with ostomies use so their skin doesn't break down.
You are beautiful!! Give yourself grace and self love and continued high 5's. I've been struggling for some time now and trying to learn resilience as I try to focus on what blessing's I do have. It's so easy to have those dark moments creep in. I've read about " grounding" one's self by feeling the grass underneath my bare feet. I m going to do this today anything self help readings I can find on the internet. I also spend several hours away from the house to just be. I know I'm in a fragile mental place but I have no one or place for support where I am located. I just can't feel good with burdening my daughter and her family. As the only caretaker 24/7 to my sister for 20 months. She has home hospice now. I haven't been able to locate any resources for a crisis outreach. I'm rambling so I will stop and keep faith in believing in God.
The skinflap is SO much better, and your face is not burning red anymore.

Baby girl you have been through so much z my heart brakes for you I subscribes quite a while back . I’ve been fighting cancer since 2010 and I won’t go into all I’ve been through but I want you to know that I always pray for you. Your baby is precious and I know ow it’s hard for you not to be able to be the amazing mother right now due to healing etc but just pray to God for strength and cuddle your little one tight and often. Your skin is healing. It might be sensitive to light or overheating, so you will learn what you need.
Your hair is really growing since the last update.
You might consider a fade cut to transition as it grows.
You have such a lovely face shape to carry most styles.
I'm here in Canada hoping the best for your tests and results. The wait is daunting but the window of time is so necessary after treatment to get straight results to work with.
Wanting to share a little hope. Today we received our results after scans and tests in both December and March.
Being in years of remission doesn't always promise clear results. Since August, we can finally exhale until the next schedule of tests.
We are thankful our concerns found didn't present another fight and everything came back better than prepared for this time.
We all want some good news but need time to process...

Adding on to others' comments - Melanie you look and sound so much better! I'm sure you still feel the swelling, but it doesn't show in the video much at all. I love you were able to care for the baby and get outside! These may seem like little steps but they are huge when you've experienced so many challenges this past year and want some "normal" back in your life. And you didn't cry - there is NOTHING wrong with crying - but to me you made the video and didn't once, and that seems like you are just feeling so much better and not so overwhelmed and I'm hoping that's what that means!!! Just WOW - I can't believe how strong you are and am so happy to get this update. All the good vibes flowing from Minnesota your way!!!

So, please, allow your body at least the same amount of time for you to heal body, mind, and soul.
I think that you look wonderful and beautiful, so please, try to cut yourself some slack.
There's definitely so much more to beauty for all of us. And I only wish that we all could just look past the physical, and look to our inner most beauty, more often.
In time, your body will cooperate with your mind and heart.
And you, your husband, and your wonderful, precious, little angel, will be able to put this all in your past.
And you will all have wonderful, happy, blessed, and long lives, together.

Will continue to pray for you. 🙏 I had breast cancer in 2001 and had chemotherapy and radiation. I ended up with a bad radiation burn. It was the worst part of my treatment. Of course, all cancers are different, so treatments differ. I'm so glad that you are gaining a little more energy. 💕

Just prayed for you sweet girl. Although you might not feel like it, you look great. I’m so sorry for all of the side effects precious warrior. I’m still dealing with side effects myself and my last chemo treatment was in 2019. What helps me is being grateful for even the smallest things. Don’t get me wrong, I have my “this sucks days” but I acknowledge it and move on. Also, patience is key. Everyday you will get stronger, your energy will increase and I’m praying your sense of tastes comes back. Sending you love and gentle hugs.
You are on the recovery road, YAY!!! I am so happy to see you here. Yep, cancer is no fun. Those of us that are going through the process and those that have paved the road before us know the yucky side of this journey. Hi beautiful, granny here. Your face looks nice and clear and I love your hair! You’ve got some battle scars and that proves that you’re holding tight with everything within you. Baby try hard not to dwell on what hasn’t happened yet. Leave those tests where they are until you have to have them. I’m really happy you are going to look into another form of treatment….natural remedies can only do good. Are you able to spend time in sunlight without receiving sun? screened in area of the house? Being in dim dark surroundings can add to low spirits. I’m rooting for your success and praying for your endurance. That our living Heavenly Father will fortify you and make you equal to your challenge.
I hope that all the physical and mental suffering in this world of ours has a valid reason for existing

Like many here I wish I had a magic bullet to heal you but unfortunately I don’t. All I can offer is prayers. I have been praying for a healing every single night since I found your RUclips site. I will continue to pray for a total healing of cancer. Miracle happen instantaneously but healing take time. I’ll storm heaven that God answers the prayers of removing all the cancer. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

That unwanted situation where your eye " leaks" is something temporary and should soon be repaired. Hair looks thick and good.
Hon, as long as the cancer does not return, that's the most important thing. All else is temporary. Except your eye being gone. However, I don't have words for how natural where your eye was looks.

Melanie, when I clicked on your video, I thought it was an old video of you, I didn't even notice that your eye was missing. You look wonderful, and your spirit seems to be coming back as well. Congratulations!! I hope after you come back to tell us your scans are clear that you continue your channel with book recommendations, camping adventures and Disneyland outings. I would like to ask something of you, as someone with her own struggles, would you please keep me in your prayers as well.
