- This is the update from the surgeon on closing the hole in my eye and while it was NOT. the news we were hoping for there is at least an actionable step. This cancer journey is definitely a marathon. It seems I just keep getting one more thing after one more thing, but I am grateful that there is a fix. So now it's just another waiting game.

Strength is overrated. I'm sure that most people would prefer to be "less strong" and not have to go through something that tortures them. It's very condescending.
My husbands cancer has been a rollercoaster ride as well. Nothing is predictable, nothing is “standard”, and Murphy’s law has definitely appplied. He has had five ER visits and three unexpected and additional surgeries in the past nine months. It’s not an easy path at all.
It can be such a hard ride. My best wishes to you and your husband. ♥👋

Oh Melanie, I just feel so bad for all you are going through! I don’t know you personally but I just want to cry, as you are a young mother and going through such hard struggles! A friend of mine was diagnosed with a brain tumor which is extremely aggressive glioblastoma last June. She has gone through chemo, two surgeries to remove aggressive tumor, radiation, etc…. She wasn’t given much hope at all for healing but I am so happy to be able to say that when they did MRI in Feb. there was absolutely zero growth of the tumor! She has had 2 more MRI scans and still no sign of tumor growth! She is supposed to be getting radiation but there is nothing to radiate! Of course we have prayed for a miracle for her and it looks like God has answered prayers! Praying that for you too!

This is the toughest battle ever you are fighting. But your a warrior and we are your tribe beside you lifting you up in prayers and thoughts! Keep the faith in God. When we are weak he is strong. I pray that God gives you all the rest and healing you need and he calms the stomach upset issues also. Please always feel that we really do care and come to us at any time to lift you and your sweet family in prayer.

My 93 almost 94-year-old husband lost his eye 60+ years ago. He still has problems with drainage.
I found you from Heather the Kneady Homesteader. I pray to our Father God that you will try fenbendazole before you use poison from anyone else. My oldest daughter Angela uses fenbendazole now daily. She used it for a few months before a double mastectomy in 2020. Her tumors shrunk so much before surgery even her oncologist was amazed. Please look into it before you have any further surgery.

Give yourself grace, Melanie. Your body has been through lot and you still have lots of options to get you back to your new normal. You are going to get better. Claim it.
I'm sorry it wasn't the quick fix you and WE were hoping for, but I'm happy there is a fix. I know two months sounds like a long time right now, but it truly will be here before you know it. I'll be praying for the integrity of the skin so he is able to accomplish what he wants to do without difficulty. And I'll certainly be praying about your nausea. That is just an awful thing to have to cope with on top of everything else! I really appreciate your willingness to share the medical details. We love you and your family!

Melanie sending you prayers! From one cancer patient to another….the pain in your voice, the frustration and the tiredness you are experiencing hit home! I also just finished radiation, 33 treatments of it this past April 19th. I will also need a second surgery, and my surgeon would like to wait 8 to 12 months out because he also says radiation healing inside our body takes time. I find my energy and appetite also fluctuating, days I feel great, others I can’t wait to hit the bed. So as i hear you, I feel you, yet I also know each cancer is different and no one can truly say they know what we are each going through. As a mother, our kids are our engine! The reason! I know you will be healed completely and maybe our new normal will not be our previous normal, but we will share our warrior story! I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery, in the name of Jesus Christ I declare that new scans will show no evidence of cancer in your body!

I am so sorry to hear the news. I know this is disappointing to hear. I know you will preserve and get through it! I am sure it is incredibly frustrating and hurtful! This is another hurdle and I can hear the sadness in your voice. But think of it as the steps you need to feel better, smelling better, and breathing better.
Cancer has sooo many ups and downs! We are all with you and praying for every part of your journey through this, the steps forward, AND back. Stay strong, focus on ONE day at a time, enjoy your beautiful baby and husband. Keep your thoughts positive, and get some extra rest when the baby is asleep. Hi Melanie! I think I told you that I work on the surgical floor and have witnessed these surgeries. Your surgeon has done an amazing job! Your eye looks really good. Sounds like he really has your best outcome in mind … slow and steady. You r so strong and the home stretch is near!💪🏻 your hair is cute… Mine came back very curly. Hon, it's a process. We realize that you are going through a whole lot!! Just continue to hang on. The main objective is they get all the cancer and it never comes back!! And thank God for your vision. Prayer fully you will never have to go through anything this tough again.

Oh Mel, it’s just awful what you are having to go through - I wish I could help you in some way. I don’t know how you are so strong - other than that you have no choice. I still think it’s good though that at least it is draining out, I can imagine how frustrating everything must be. I've missed a few of your updates, but I'm glad I caught this one. It has to be so frustrating to be told you have to wait to fix the hole and your sinuses. On the one hand, it's frustrating, but on the other, it's good that your surgeon isn't rushing things. I've been in a bad Trigeminal Neuralgia flare and migraine for almost 8 weeks now and was told today that there's not much else we can do for the pain. Neuro can't get me back until July. It's just so hard to feel so helpless with your own body. Sending you hugs and love.

I’m so sorry for all of the suffering you have been through. I can relate…I have a double cancer diagnosis…..had a big surgery in November where they removed my parotid gland and they did a modified neck dissection….had 5 procedures in one year….i am permanently damaged on my mouth and neck….it’s overwhelming and exhausting….major scanziety……I pray for an amazing and surprising recovery for you….one that is way better than expected.

As crazy as this sounds, I never in my life thought after watching your videos I would be diagnosed with cancer myself. I had no symptoms of anything until I had a significant plural effusion on my left lung. They cannot find my primary source. Every scan, test, (even both genetic testing on biopsy and self)

Dear Melanie, I follow your videos for a while now and as a fellow cancer patient I just want to send you all the energy and support that you need for today, with a big hug as well! Allthough I have cancer I allmost feel lucky that it's "only" breastcancer and very good to treat. The cancer process is so hard and it sucks all the energy out of your body. I can hardly imagine what your struggleust be every single day. Living from treatment to treatment and from result to result, it simply sucks. You are so admirable!
