- Howdy Folks. Time for another Preorder Roundup. October was a big month for Anime Figures, though truly it feels like every month is big these days. Surprisingly I found myself looking forward to multiple figures this month(maybe even the best Aigis figure so far), though one of them just did not live up to my expectations at all. Never a great feeling, but let's get into it.

First of all I love these roundups. I usually use these videos as a guide for a figure I may have not noticed on my own and I usually miss one or maybe two that I end up getting after seeing them in the round up but Im happy to say that this time i did not miss any that I really wanted. Still loved the video thank you for all the hard work!
You making videos like this is so helpful. Like, I just go to your videos here if I want to see the monthly releases from various stores/manufacturers and all is compiled nicely with a bit of initial take on each figures. Also, that White Rabbit bunny girl figure is kind of tempting. Every other bunny girl figure is boring to me outside 'big boobs and big butt,' but I kind of want one. That one curves nicely while also looking cute with the sweater. Price point also doesn't lie in a world with FREEing.
Lovely design for the white rabbit, not an expensive gamble either, but since I'm not really a bunny guy I rather wait and see others pick her up. Hope this company delivers though considering the price sets a good standard

About the Blue Archive nendoroids. I don't like nendoroids in general but I ended up pre-preordering the BA ones because they look close to the 3D models they have ingame so they are a good fit. Not 1 to 1 with the models but I'm sure they'll look awesome together!

04:57 Oh wow, that Ryuko Matoi pop up parade is awesome. Her stance, her hands in her jacket pockets and that incredible expression on her face. So, so good. I'm not a pop up parade collector, but this I want.
I've slightly fallen down the Pop up Rabbit hole with a few select figures, but even if I didn't, that Ryuko figure is a must get for me.
Love seeing your opinion!! I was suuper hyped for Miku Polaris but yeah after they revealed her colorized oof the hair... In general especially compared the og illustration the color palette were lacking but in the end that hair made her a ng for me even though she really does have such a wonderful sculpt.
I would not be surprised if she drops in price after release simply due to the abundance of Miku figures out there. At a cheaper price she might be more worth it, but I really wish she just turned out better.
I'll personally definitely get the Aigis 1/6 figure! Ive never been so excited for a figure in a while! She looks incredible! Only issue is how long we'll have to wait.
I'd suggest you do take the risk bro! Just think how popular Persona 3 will be after P3 Reload. Aigis is a must!
Yeah as much as I love Persona 3 I don't own a single figure from it. Technically this is a P4 Arena figure but let's not worry about that lol.

Ryza's dress looks great, but... that doesn't FEEL like Ryza.
Simpler bases are still the best in my book. I feel like a lot of these special bases are just there to justify the increase in price. Besides, they often provide more fragile parts to break and, more importantly, takes up precious space and prevents me from displaying my figures together.

A complex base is fine but if the company doesn't handle it with enough care it's just gonna feel tacked on and like you said, jacks up the price

Ha I know there's tons of Banana Fish fans out there so Ash was gonna sell. I certainly am known for spending more than I should on things I love too. I probably should have focused more on the figure than just complaining about the price though. Just in the moment it was the only thing on my mind
The question is do you have all the other Ash figures because I have his Nendoroid and the one of him with Eiji by Kotobukiya and the next one I'd get would be the one of him with the military gear and the guns. It's so badass. But if you already have that one or you like the soft/happy feel of this one I totally get it. I just think the flowers and his sandals aren't that well sculpted- especially the sandals I keep staring at them for some reason...

I'm considering the white rabbit figure but I haven't decided yet.

Also the 400 Sakura nendoroid rerelease makes me hope for a Tomoyo rerelease 😭
I'm guessing Tomoyo is really expensive? I remember picking her up for my girlfriend a long time ago but at that time she had a pretty normal price
Icrea is actually very well known company. They do not usually mentioned as a manufacturer but usually Sculptor (some of the figure that they sculpt include the Vocaloid Hanairogoromo series, Arknights Hoshiguma from F:NEX) so you're in a good hand if you really want that Aegis in my opinion.

A little backstory on the White Rabbit figure! Her artist is very popular and is actually a USA based artist! She's done promo art work for Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, for Vtubers like IronMouse, and honestly so much! You've most likely come across her art dozens of times. White Rabbit is her Vtuber Avatar and OC character that represents her. Her friend OC is also the Cheshire Cat. This particular figure is from her strip-game over on Twitter, where people would like/repost a certain amount to continue to "strip" the character. White Rabbit has another figure in the works, a 1/6 scale in her usual outfit, but it hasn't been painted yet :)
I own her artbook, and can't wait to display this figure next to it! One of the few Vtubers I'm interested in. Hopefully, as a US-based artist/Vtuber, maybe Amalee's Monarch will get the figure treatment too!

Only figure I preordered from the past month was the Nendoroid of Rapi. As a big Nikke fan, I was really excited to finally see her go up for preorder and she turned out incredible. Can't wait to pair her with Anis when she goes up.
a storm of Nikke figures is starting to approach. I think a scale from Furyu just went up for preorder yesterday too

I actually think the new Gojo scale is perfect (as someone who has hardly seen a Gojo figure with a face that looks right). I love the way his face turned out!

I swear enthusiasts are the most observant that they can even spot a man's bike (not that I know the differences) - Rather than pointing the diff, it would paint a story in my mind that the witch was riding her brother / father bike to the bakery 😊

I liked the Ryza since I saw the dress as more of a red and orange instead of red and gold but that's just me. Not worth a PO since I feel like Ryza figures are gonna start to bin with recent trends but I'm interested in it. The Juvia figure is interesting because it's her first figure in like 10 years and her only other options are a limited release that costs like $500 now so it's really tempting even though I don't like Freeing bunnies but I filled the bunny figure shaped hole in my collection with the Rosuuri white bunny since it's affordable and looks beautiful so what's a few more. Ok but the Aigis looks absurdly amazing and while I have no idea why it's not on amiami, I am VERY tempted to get it because if it looks as good as the prototype, then it's the best Aigis figure by far and while I'm sure she will get the Ryza or Bridget treatment with the remake coming out soon and get a ton of scales after people love her in that, this one looks too good to pass up.

I have been waiting for a new Juvia figure for so long! I wish she had a very loving face or super embarrassed, but this looks like a serious face like she has a job to do. She is my most beloved female character. Fairy Tail is a lot of fun and Juvia adds so much humour. I really hope more will get made of her, even PUP since they have so many Lucy and Erza's.
If the bunny sells well I'm sure other companies will take notice

1:08:31 Yea a lot of Fate figures drop in price, the Semiramis I bought for ¥32k you can now get on sale for ¥25. And a lot of the Fate figures don’t sell out quickly, a lot are still available on AmiAmi. But they always get some great figures.

1:13:23 I like the round bases on the JJK Nendoroids, I bought one of those Nendoroids just to sit on top of the manga, the guy in the white robe with spiky hair (can’t remember his name), but I won’t be getting any more, I tried multiple times to read the manga and couldn’t get into it. It’s the only manga I just couldn’t get into, I’ll try again at some point because I’ve already bought up to vol 18.

What I want to do is spend just a little less time on the scales and a little more on the Nendos, but so many scales come out these days that it's hard for me to pick and choose which ones to go over. Just trying not to skip the important stuff ya know? But yeah even just 10 minutes would be fine for Nendoroids imo

The BRS I've been anticipating, but Polaris Miku I just have to see in person. I don't think I mind translucency as much as you do, but that's up to a point. Wait and see. Remilia surpassed my expectations, and I want to get her now at some point for sure.
I do overly complain about Translucent hair so yeah don't get too caught up in what I say about it. I do think in this case it holds Polaris Miku back but it could still look fine when she's released.
I actually got a few Fairy Tail Pop Up Parades and they look great, and they have flat round bases which I much prefer, I hate those raised hexagonal bases on some of the others.
Aigis- Dew it. Angela- I feel the pain too, I was looking forward to her as well. My condolences. Frieren- I'm going to hope that Spiritale comes through for us on these characters. If not, I'll wait to find one I really like.
I can totally see Spiritale jumping on the Frieren train, though I'm still just expecting GSC to make proper scales since it seems like something they would do.
Oh boy, this Aigis figure! If it ends up close to the prototype, what a banger. I didn't play P4, and I still consider this one, so you should definitely get it if you got the budget. Also I'm just finishing 13 Sentinel, but I didn't really like Yakushiji, and the outfit of Minami isn't really... well... even if I enjoyed her character a lot.
The figure is based off the fighting game so no need to really worry about playing it. Still a P3 character at the end of the day

Not much for me this month though, I'm kinda interested in the Rurudo bunny girl, but I'm not really confident in the company, atleast they did the translucent hair much better than pinkcharm. Also decided to get the Alter Remilia after a month of sitting on her, in Alter I trust.
We got WonHobby Autumn in about a week. Maybe an AmiAmi Hobby Camp too or something. Either way I still got long vids in the works lol.

So I’m really hoping I can just display them like the To Love-Ru Darkness line I have, where they’ve no base, they just sit on the shelf. Have you already ordered the 1/6 Guts from Prime1 ? I left it too long and now it’s on waitlist, it was still on preorder so I never dreamt it would be waitlisted, they haven’t even chosen the ES yet so I’ve no idea why it’s waitlisted. They usually use the number of preorders to select the ES, I’m on the waitlist now so I hope others drop off.
I should have just ordered it straight away, I instantly ordered the new Slan as soon as it went up, absolutely love that statue, I missed the first one so didn’t want to miss this one. I don’t know which one I prefer, I like the base better on this new one, but I’m not a throne fan, so I don’t know. Shipping also seems to have gone down, it’s $450 to ship her, I had to cancel the Berserker armor Guts because the shipping increased by $350 up to $1,090, so I cancelled it even though I had the statue paid for, luckily they gave me a full refund. I’ll buy it later when I can get cheaper shipping, customs charge would be over €600 on that.
I ordered Guts and Griffith yeah. Those two were just too impressive for me to second guess
I'm not giving up hope on edgerunner scales :( it's the number one thing I want from figure collecting

48:31 I didn’t know they put real fabric on the tights on 1/7, but the Albedo I bought from FuRyu seems to have real fabric, I’m not sure, but looking at it through the box they seem to be real. In the promotion pictures of the figure I didn’t know they were real, I thought they were painted.

46:58 Yea the base & effects look cheap, I could live with the effects but I hate a cheap looking base, that looks exactly like the plastic used in the hex Pop Up Parade bases.
I'm also hesitant about the Aegis figurine, she's so bad ass and in 1/6 but not cheap :')

So many figures, and yet, the only one that I might consider getting is the girl with the bike, all too familiar finding a great figure, only for it to be ruined by one detail, specially hate it when they cancel a great figure as well, still waiting for a figure company to make a figure of all the Tenchi Muyo girls in nice spring time dresses, school outfits, or 2 piece swimsuits, I feel like there’s quite a few girls out there who haven’t been given a spotlight yet😕
It's hard to convince these companies to make classic characters. I could see GSC doing pop ups for Tenchi Muyo but I don't know how satisfying that would be. Still waiting for my Ranma 1/2 scales. Perhaps one day...
Once again I'm tempted to buy Touhou figures despite never having played a single Touhou game.
As for the Nichijou nendos I was very dissapointed that Yuuko had no firearm accessories since she is the postergirl Gundere.
Alot of people are like that with Touhou so it's fine
How long does it take to edit a video like this?
It's not that long to edit, maybe like 2-3 hours(its mostly just me rewatching the footage and cleaning it up while throwing in extra pictures here and there). It's just because I'm actually REALLY bad at recording what I want to say clearly without stuttering and whatnot that makes these videos take 3x as long as they should.
I definitely want Frieren figures, but so far the options available haven't been good enough.
It's very early on so I think it's fine. We'll get more figures for sure
I'm on the hunt for a figure of Frieren getting eaten by a mimmick. There's a plush but a figure is bound to happen. The rwby scale is mighty tempting but that price tho oof.
I can see a prize figure company making a figure of that exact Frieren setup. That or maybe a Nendoroid
14:26 Yea to me that’s worth the price, there’s a lot going on with that figure, I really like it. But I hate the support rod, at least they showed it in the photo, I bought FuRyu’s China Dress Albedo and nowhere in the photos does it show support rods, but it has the 2 biggest ugly support rods, there’s no way I’m using them, I don’t care if it leans.
I’ve heard some people complain about Phat Company, the figure I was most looking forward to last year was their Semiramis, I bought it but haven’t opened it yet, I can’t even see the figure because there’s no window in the box which is a bummer. I also have their Roxy ordered too.

The problem with the raise dream Flandre/Remilia set is that the Alter versions exist and definitely feel more like the original characters. the old school imperial military uniforms are still very cool, but they don't immediately scream 'tohou' figures to me.
If I had the space I'd probably pick them both up anyways just to display them across from their alter counterparts, but all my double cabinets are currently full.

They really didn't do Juvia of Fairy Tail justice with her expression. Honestly, I didn't recognize her and she's one of my favs. So sad because they did everything else so well but if you don't look at it and squeal, "Juvia!" she's just a chick with blue hair in a blue bunny suit. :(

The Milim is very nice, though my mental image of her is mostly of her dummy side and I've already two of those. So I'm a bit torn on that.
For some reason I never really liked Shuna all that much. I even like Shizu better and have one ordered, but... not Shuna. Maybe she's a bit too Mary Sue for me.
Indeed, the 2B doesn't look as good as the first one, which I have and like very much. Besides, I really need to stop spending money on Nier, them statues costing too much.
I'm also a bit unsure about the Azure Lane jiangshi. I very rarely buy characters I don't know, but damn...

For the Hana Uzaki-chan SUGOI knitwear I can see why you say that the figure sucks because the promo shots shows it: plain boring base, large seam-lines on the knitwear and the price does not seem to justify its worth. Her mother, Tsuki Uzaki was just released not too long ago (which I picked up) she's in a similar knitwear with the same boring base but they actually cleaned up the seam lines on her knitwear if you were to compare them to Tsuki's promo photos, so one could hope they would do the same for Hana. Suffice to say, I'm biased and a sucker for Uzaki-chan. I will mostly likely get Hana too.
PSO2es Gene & Annette is actually a rerelease. I was able to get Gene back in 2019 from Crunchyroll of all places. I believe they were exclusives at the time but now theyre both more accessible with AmiAmi.
And I'm tempted to get both Frieren & Fern from elcoco because I've thought about using them as bookends for my Frieren mangas I'm currently reading lol
Anyways, thanks again for the Preorder Roundup. I really do enjoy listening to your opinions. There's definitely a few other figures Im going to pick up and with your videos, it does help remind me whenever I get too busy and forget which ones are up for preorder.

Frieren and Fern as bookends sounds like a nice idea. I really do like the idea of mixing books/games with figures but I never really get a chance to talk about that since I don't have all my media on shelves atm
@@ZuccoFigures lol no worries about not having done more research for PSO2es figures. Tbh Im in the similar boat, I barely know next to nothing when it comes to PSO. I only was able to pick up Gene because I was scrolling through IG, an ad passed by from Crunchyroll and my jaw was dropped at that point. So I got her for obvious reasons xD

Oh sorry that's not what I meant when I talked about those two Gura/Marine figures. I've talked about Hololive before and own a few figures. I just meant that I never heard of those two new figures before and both the description of them and the company were very different from your typical release.

1:05:25 But what’s with that clear flat plastic base? Really? On a figure like that? Have the bike itself be the base, I absolutely hate when they do that. It’s like a lot of resin statues where they stick those ugly black plasticky round bases on the bottom of the statue. They do that with nearly every DBZ statue, except for the company Last Sleep, who make the most amazing DBZ statues you’ve ever seen.
They have 2 new statues that just blew my mind, best looking statues I’ve ever seen, one is a 1/6 where Goku have flown up through the clouds holding Buu, and Shenlong is in the clouds too, then Broly, Cell, Freeza & Vegeta are down below firing energy blasts up at him, the statue is amazing. Then the other is a 1/4 of SS3 Goku with a big dragon beside him, it showed a picture of 2 guys standing side by side holding the dragon and it’s wider than both of them, amazing.
Anyway, stop sticking round bases on the bottom of everything, the Revolve Asuka & Mari has this, they have lovely red rock bases but then they’ve stuck these shiny round bases on the bottom, absolutely hate it, it’s the thing I hate most with figures/resins.

You're right but this figure is based off the fighting game which is technically Persona 4. Alot of P3 characters ended up in that game, but truthfully I didn't play it for very long so I can't remember the roster fully.

This again is just proof I have no idea about figure pricing and how these companies are actually calculating their prices. Because you’ll have bland figures for ¥26k and you’ll have much more detailed nicer figures for ¥18k, pricing makes no sense to me.
