I've been addicted to hunting figures on Mercari Japan lately. Not an auction site but still requires proxies and whatnot. Honestly it's been a minute since I checked Yahoo Auctions so I should do that next time lol

Kurumi Bunny: Yes, I do think the original primarily red one, which I have, is better. Her color theme is red and black, and the red one have a decent amount of black. The black one, however, is very lacking in red. So I agree with you. And as it stands, the after market of the original is not much higher. None of the Kurumi figures have significant mark up in after market afaik, probably due to the fact that there are so many of them. Railgun bunnies: Actually, Misaki came out first and is the only reasonably priced one out of the four. I really don't know why Misaka look the way she does. In any case, I don't think bunny suit fits her so I won't be getting it anyway. I am considering the Ruiko Saten. Not because I like the bunny figure much but because I do like Saten and... there is a lack of her figures in general. The price though.... I'm a bit torn on the Anubis. I generally don't go for OCs, but I really like that skin tone, it accounts for 100% of my OC figures, including two other Egyptian themed ones. This means that simultaneously, it really is a thematic/aesthetic that I like but is also a bit crowded.
The only thing here that I might be interested in is Anubis. Not sure about the company though and I am trying to be more discerning because I want to save space for higher priority figures.

I really loved your well-thought-out take on the subject matter.) I honestly don't understand why characters that wear a relatively simple outfit like a swimsuit or a bunny suit cost so much. The amount of work that goes into a character with a complicated outfit is surely greater and therefore should cost more. I am clearing missing something here. That Rider/Leonardo Da Vinci 1/7 looks so good! I adore girls with the cute, classy, intelligent look. :3
There's so many figures these days where the price doesn't reflect the effort/materials needed. Of course licensing fees varies between properties but as a consumer its crazy to see a bikini girl with no base cost 300 bucks, size be damned
I also don't like lay down figures but that Anubis girl is looking amazing, if I get her I'll build a little Egyptian dorama to make her look even cooler.
The Mass for Dead Overlord - Shalltear Bloodfallen - 1/6 (Kaitendoh) has a sculpt now very hyped. Now we just need see how the paint job comes out. Just letting anyone know if they're interested as much as I am for it.😂😅
I still need to watch more Overlord before I commit to any figures from the show but I do like her design. Kaitendoh is a company I don't have much experience with though so it'll be interesting to see how she turns out
I'm a very big fan of the show I already pre-ordered the Albdo samurai kimono version so I think Shalltear will match very nicely with her. I cancelled the bridal dress version of shalltear to instead order the other one as I think that one will be much better. Only thing is the cost. It will be my first 1/6 scale and technically my biggest figure yet!
I think I saw someone mention it on twitter late the other night but forgot to click on it. FREEing must be overloaded these days which I'm not too surprised at. They often have the most figures each month unless you count good smile and their nendoroids/pop up parades
I had to cut nendoroids from these preorder roundups because the videos ran too long, but he's solid. Perhaps an extra accessory or two would have helped make the package more complete, but his sculpt's fairthful and the faceplates are all good choices
I have a few figures on their way to me, the one I’m most excited for is the new 1/7 Rei from Alter, I loved it from the second I seen it, I just got the email this morning from Ami Ami & payed it instantly. I also have Mash Kyrielight (from Fate) 1/7 from Stronger, also love this figure as she leans back on her shield, got that from big bad toy store, also got a few Pop Up Parades and Nendoroids. I’m also looking forward to the new Kotobukiya Asuka, where she’s sitting on the beach with a ripped plug suit, she’s supposed to be released this month, I love Kotobukiya.

I'm kinda glad I didn't order the Illya since CrunchyRoll killed the global version of the game. Now that we can't play it anymore I'm not sure if I will still care when she comes out, though if she does go for a reasonable price on the aftermarket I may pick her up still.

Yea I’ve preordered Suzu, but yea Matsuri’s armpit looks terrible, and his face doesn’t look right, I don’t like the face sculpt, it doesn’t look like him. And that’s not a tattoo, it’s a gender swap jutsu mark, Matsuri is really a boy, but he was turned into a girl by an Ayakashi.
That Bremerton is way too noice to say no to. Azur Lane figures always going crazy. Though I see some Nikke figures starting to pop up and they'll go equally hard. But what would be the best would be Last Origin figures. I know nothing about that game, but I've seen their designs and wooo boi.
