I have the Shiro swimsuit and the wonderland estream, they are both super cute. The wonderland version is more like a 1/6 scale which is a nice surprise
Only watched the first episode of My Teen Romantic Comedy a few years ago and forgot about it, but I instant pre-ordered the Yukino figure. Although it is super simple, it is one of the prettiest figures I’ve seen. Also it made me re-discover a good show.
I was only interested in the minion nendoroids (hopefully there will be an option to buy them together) until the end of the video with that Ronin figure... she looks great 😂

The Model kit runner Rebecca figure (dont know if theyre playing on the title of Cyberpunk Edge-"runners") is really interesting because Ive built a couple of kits before and if the figure itself is not going to be expensive; the builder inside of me thought about painting the Rebecca runners for some little fun or to make color accuracy. I am most excited for the Dungeon Meshi/Delicious in Dungeon figures because Ive been reading the manga for a couple of years now. With the anime coming soon AND the announcement of these figures; I'm over the moon so to speak lol Now as far as how good the scaled Marcille looks, I might.. pass on her because I actually want to collect the main party of series and it looks like PUP is heading towards that goal with Falin to pair with Marcille. I chuckled when you said that the mushroom on the scaled Marcille was "well endowed" but in actual fact; the extra mushroom appendage is it's leg. That monster/creature is called the Walking Mushroom where its legs and feet is just another mushroom sprouted from its main body. I hope they paint Mio soon, sometimes I do wonder why it takes longer for them to do the next step of a product when it is known to be popular with the fans. Id like to see your reaction to a painted Mio, seeing how much it means a lot to you. Lastly, Im gonna pick up FREEings Anis because she's my favorite; she's cute and THICCC in the right places :P

I feel like things such as the unannounced cast-offs has more to do with what the IP holders have as guidelines for how their licensed products may be marketed/represented. It feels like an exploited gray area to me and not anything more than that. Glad you found some stuff in any case.
I'm not super familiar from the event so I would have to look into it. Sometimes these events have alot of crossover or the companies bring figures from previous shows that I already covered in another video. Just a little tricky to find the ones that have enough new announcements that I never talked about on the channel before. But hey at the very least if there are figures I missed there's a good chance I'll talk about them in my preorder roundup series when they go up for preorder

The way I audibly gasped when I saw the Yue nendoroid announcement. I am always down for more Cardcaptor Sakura figures and I will take a nendoroid of Yue since I doubt I will ever get my hands in his only scale figure. I hope they do more characters! I'm also debating the Miku Cinnamoroll nendoroid. Everytime I tell myself I'm not getting more nendoroids goodsmile just announces more 😅

I think they just figure some nendoroids don't really "need" extra possibility. I sort of understand it since the extra joints take away from the simplistic clean look of the figures, but I do usually like the extra possibility when given.

I'm not familiar with Reitaisai figures, unless im having a brainfart lol. Fill me in when you get the chance, though honestly sometimes these replies get lost so maybe a new comment would be better
Reitaisai is a quite large Touhou convention, seasonal as well I think, pretty much official although not run by TSA/Zun. It's big enough to have large manufacturers showcasing prepainted figures, plush etc. however it's Touhou so that would limit quantity of what comes out (Touhou gets quite a few prepainteds a year, but it's really up to you if you thought it was worth covering) Thought I'd mention! If nothing comes of it, well at least you learned something today about Reitaisai. I just noticed this channel had posted a good amount of Touhou Project. I'm not sure if I'm super versed in conventions/showcases besides WonFes and WonHobby but I imagine most of the Touhou figures would also be in other events.
Do you think they will never release the plantopia alpha figure in retail? I think they planned on only making 1500 of them but the campaign didnt sell all of them if i got it correct so what are they gonna do with the extras?
I could see them unloading the remainder on their official store, but 1500 was probably just their cap so I can't say for sure if they will actually make that many
I have this lingering fear in the back of my mind that when they start making the popup parades more and more expensive, they'll start reaching prices of the cheapest 1/7 scales pre-covid and that will become the norm which will artificially push the price of 1/7's even higher.
It's a possibility, but the general consensus of pop ups is that they are average at best, so a price increase is just going to make them sell less and defeat the purpose of the line. I could see a small increase in the near future though
That Rias and Akeno pair is very nice. I am not comparing them with the old bunnies, which were fine, but the pole dancing ones. There were multiple and their face all sucked. This is... very nice. I've wanted pole dancing Rias for a while now. Maomao is a character from a new anime released this very season. Ofc, manga have been going for a while now. But in any case, I really like her after discovering the series due to the anime. I will wait and see if there will be a scale, as I'm at the point where space is the bigger issue, so quality over quantity. But if not... PUP is servicable Note on shalltear: She canonically stuff her chest with pads, so it is reasonable to assume she did here too. I am more likely to get Narbel than her, but still unlikely overall. I already have a cool Narbel and the Albedo&Shalltear set, I am fairly set on the overlord front. Surprisingly few figures I'm interested in this time around... probably for the best....

I do need a Narberal figure, but I think I’ll go with the Alter figure of her, although the cheapest I can find it at the moment is €350. The Shalltear looks really nice, definitely my favourite. But if it is cast off I wonder will they make it true to the series and leave Shalltear flat, as we know she stuffs her bra hahaha.

So don’t think I’ll bother with this Pop Up Parade, I actually thought Pop Up Parades were all made by the same company haha. I was just going through boxes here yesterday and seen they’re made by different companies. I much prefer the round bases that are on the Fairy Tail ones compared to that terrible hexagonal ones.

a friend of mine told me she's supposed to be short but I dunno, still looks a tad off to me. And that kenshin was at a previous event. It's one of their cheaper lines where the character is just sitting in a chair. I think Sanosuke is getting one as well
I am awaiting an update on the Mio scale. However, when it comes to male scales I am like Nathan Drake in the damn desert in Uncharted 3. Just wandering around for one drop. Just one male Xenoblade scale. Not a single one across 3 games. How can this happen
GSC/Max Factory are just so picky when it comes to Male figures it's kind of unreal. We really need Monolith to step in like Intelligent systems did for Fire Emblem. Hell I'm surprised they don't just experiment with something smaller like a nendoroid or figma. Noah figma to go along with Mio would have been a good start
The Bocchi GSC scales are so boring. Surprising we didn't get something more creative when you compare them to the 1/7 Lycoris Recoil figs. The 1/6 Quintuplets. Sadness. The Aniplex Bocchi dino figure....also on my wishlist. Definitely getting Gojo from My Dress Up Darling. Maybe bikini Marin. (I simp) Mahjong Soul has some great character designs. I need scales. I still like the Hitori GSC figure but it's likely just gonna be a one off fig for me. Aniplex just put up their Hitori and I was surprised the price wasn't atrocious, so that's certainly an option now. Dino Bocchi def needs to be in the collection one way or the other lol. GSC or Aniplex, doesnt matter to me And yeah no justice for Kana. We'll definitely got more options though and I have faith in Spiritale

Legs straps can look good, like Yami & Mea from To Love-Ru have them, but here they’re so high up, first I though they were the top of sock tights. Yea I don’t like this figure at all, and I’m a fan of Phat Company.

I think they just figure some nendoroids don't really "need" extra possibility. I sort of understand it since the extra joints take away from the simplistic clean look of the figures, but I do usually like the extra possibility when given.

I'm not familiar with Reitaisai figures, unless im having a brainfart lol. Fill me in when you get the chance, though honestly sometimes these replies get lost so maybe a new comment would be better
Reitaisai is a quite large Touhou convention, seasonal as well I think, pretty much official although not run by TSA/Zun. It's big enough to have large manufacturers showcasing prepainted figures, plush etc. however it's Touhou so that would limit quantity of what comes out (Touhou gets quite a few prepainteds a year, but it's really up to you if you thought it was worth covering)
Thought I'd mention! If nothing comes of it, well at least you learned something today about Reitaisai. I just noticed this channel had posted a good amount of Touhou Project. I'm not sure if I'm super versed in conventions/showcases besides WonFes and WonHobby but I imagine most of the Touhou figures would also be in other events.

Do you think they will never release the plantopia alpha figure in retail? I think they planned on only making 1500 of them but the campaign didnt sell all of them if i got it correct so what are they gonna do with the extras?
I could see them unloading the remainder on their official store, but 1500 was probably just their cap so I can't say for sure if they will actually make that many

I have this lingering fear in the back of my mind that when they start making the popup parades more and more expensive, they'll start reaching prices of the cheapest 1/7 scales pre-covid and that will become the norm which will artificially push the price of 1/7's even higher.
It's a possibility, but the general consensus of pop ups is that they are average at best, so a price increase is just going to make them sell less and defeat the purpose of the line. I could see a small increase in the near future though
That Rias and Akeno pair is very nice. I am not comparing them with the old bunnies, which were fine, but the pole dancing ones. There were multiple and their face all sucked. This is... very nice. I've wanted pole dancing Rias for a while now.
Maomao is a character from a new anime released this very season. Ofc, manga have been going for a while now. But in any case, I really like her after discovering the series due to the anime. I will wait and see if there will be a scale, as I'm at the point where space is the bigger issue, so quality over quantity. But if not... PUP is servicable
Note on shalltear: She canonically stuff her chest with pads, so it is reasonable to assume she did here too. I am more likely to get Narbel than her, but still unlikely overall. I already have a cool Narbel and the Albedo&Shalltear set, I am fairly set on the overlord front.

I was just going through boxes here yesterday and seen they’re made by different companies. I much prefer the round bases that are on the Fairy Tail ones compared to that terrible hexagonal ones.

a friend of mine told me she's supposed to be short but I dunno, still looks a tad off to me. And that kenshin was at a previous event. It's one of their cheaper lines where the character is just sitting in a chair. I think Sanosuke is getting one as well

GSC/Max Factory are just so picky when it comes to Male figures it's kind of unreal. We really need Monolith to step in like Intelligent systems did for Fire Emblem. Hell I'm surprised they don't just experiment with something smaller like a nendoroid or figma. Noah figma to go along with Mio would have been a good start

I still like the Hitori GSC figure but it's likely just gonna be a one off fig for me. Aniplex just put up their Hitori and I was surprised the price wasn't atrocious, so that's certainly an option now. Dino Bocchi def needs to be in the collection one way or the other lol. GSC or Aniplex, doesnt matter to me

Legs straps can look good, like Yami & Mea from To Love-Ru have them, but here they’re so high up, first I though they were the top of sock tights. Yea I don’t like this figure at all, and I’m a fan of Phat Company.
