Rob Austin Just hearing him talk about Bloodborne makes he so quick to jump on and play it again. He is right that it feels like a modern castlevania. Still my most memorable ps4 game.
I have been watching the archives and enjoying them, but as per usual with Soulsborne there is one guy who keeps telling him way too much which becomes annoying.
Damiani my man, I was in the exact same situation recently! I have a lot of games on my backlog, but last week I opted for a Bloodborne week and it was GLORIOUS. Watching the Castlevania Netflix series got my craving in early this year, eventually I went through Dark Souls III again a couple of weeks back because I haven't played The Ringed City (ended up doing in on a new character), jumping back into the Soulsborne series for me is like getting to see a friend you haven't been in touch with for a while, it completely hooked me. A week later and I was still craving, so I thought I would go through The Old Hunters DLC ASAP to get the Rakuyo for my Dappervania build (Threaded Cane is my bae). It was very challenging in some parts being only to take two-three hits, I summoned Valtr for first boss and did it first time, was very happy with that. Maria, I...cheesed with parries, I'm sorry but going toe-to-toe with her was getting my slaughtered! Then I went through the rest of the game with Maria's Coat, Old Hunter Hat and Hunter Gloves/Boots, damn I felt badass like a new version of Vampire Hunter D. Bloodborne's the game I bought a PS4 from, and to this day it's just so incredibly fun to play. I wish it would never end (well there are Chalice Dungeons but uh no thanks already plat'd and CDs kill me xD) Now I'm meant to be getting back into Yakuza 0...oops I just bought KH 1.5+2.5 for those sweet no-loading-times, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is so good!!
The orbs in Sonic Mania are from the bonus stages in Sonic & Knuckles where you have to race a line of electricity to the top of the stage using the orbs. There are so many callbacks to previous games I was drowning in happiness.
Always love to hear more people praising The Leftovers! It's one of the best shows on TV in years and years imo. if you're singing its praises now without even seeing what the rest of the show has in store for you, I can't wait to hear your thoughts about the rest of the series! International Assassin and A Most Powerful Adversary are on another level :D
Here from the future having just finished Mega Man 1-10 and hearing Ben gush about the Legacy Collection is a blast. It was so much fun watching and experiencing that series evolve in rapid time.
2:08:30 Kyle masterfully shares his opinion on Hellblade w/o spoiling anything for Ben. Love and respect for recognizing his genuine enjoyment of a controversial mechanic and choosing to preserve his experience over attempting to "enlighten" him. We should all take notes!
I've played VR once, Job Simulator on the Vive for like 20 minutes, and I literally felt like and acted like I was in that world. Having the freedom to do things like waving at the robot that drove his car into my shop... we have never seen things like that before. VR is such a different medium than what we're used to and it's so young, I think it has so much room to grow. It took videogames 35-40 years to get to where they are now. Imagine where VR will be in 35 years, what kind of unimaginable games will be made, once people stop thinking in terms of normal games and start making games using the entirety of VR's possibility, generations down the line. Another main issue of VR is the "VR tax", its expensive to make games for VR, but that will be fixed over time. 30 years ago, Super Mario Bros was a big budget game. Now, someone could make something like that in a few days. So I think those types of limitations will only go away as time goes on. I really want to get VR because I love it so much, it really to me at least feels like I'm there, and there are so many possibilities to happen years down the line, especially when new VR headsets come out. I have very high hopes for the future of VR
I'd sit here and watch a 24hr Frame Trap, I could listen to any of the Allies talk about any game and never get bored. One day we'll break the 4hr mark, one day.
Lovvveeeee this panel Damiani/Kyle dynamic cracks me up, and Ben is my favorite moderator out of any of the gaming podcasts I listen to I listen to 6 of them
I know it happens, it definitely sucks, but hopefully you'll still love the game either way. FFX is so great, please don't let some spoilers sour the experience for you :) Copious Love! Endless Respect!
Ben I love that you've worked the new sponsors into the Frame Trap law - buying you time while you try and escape the hellish Trap dimension! (Also Damiani doesn't like getting his bum wiped pass it on)
Been feelin down. Ten seconds into this podcast and i'm grinning ear to ear, laughing, and nodding my head agreeing with everything everyone is saying. Thank you. Best in the biz. this you tube update is terrible though huh?
1:26:49 the twist is they're better off where they were, sending them anywhere is bad. also, the chapel dweller isn't actually nice, really pay attention to what he wants, and what happens when he gets what he wants; there's a connection.
The Leftovers has one of the biggest jumps in quality of any tv show with season 3. S1 and S2 are great but S3 is so leaps and bounds better that its jarring
you guys are way too negative on xbox, and i dont understand this attitude of "xbox has no exclusive cause i can just play it on my PC"... well thats great, if you have a gaming PC, how many % of the users have gaming PCs? add the ones who dont like gaming on PC, i feel you guys look at it very narrow minded.. MS isnt targeting you guys to buy their console, they are happy to have you guys buy it on PC so you need to stop using that like a negative LOL you should be praising MS for opening up its games to people who love PC gaming. I am one who doesnt enjoy gaming on PC(i sold my gaming PC cause of it) so anything thats console exclusive is exclusive, and i am sure there is more of me than people with £1300 PCs
I have a sitting on the shelf game story. Blue Dragon. I got up to the fight with the robot dragon right before the end in the 'other world' and got my ass stomped. i put it up and fell into another game, not intentionally but i left Blue Dragon on the shelf for at least 6 months. I picked it up later and beat that boss and loved the rest of the game and now it is legitimately one of my favorite 360 games of all time.
Correction: mega man anniversary collection and X collection both came out on ps2, Xbox and GameCube. In mega man anniversary collection u can unlock both mega man arcade fighting games and in X collection u can unlock mega man battle & chase racing.
I don't think people really care for a deep dive on Pubg. I think people would just enjoy a video of you guys playing it in a group of four trying to survive. Though if it's not something y'all are interested in, it's probably worth straying away from.
I know it's my fault for listening to the lost legacy but, I really wish I didn't know... *gameplay spoiler below* About the open world part. That would've been mind-bogglingly unexpected and would've had such a cool wow factor as a result. I'm hyped
About Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice: Frankly, I don't see how is it hard to be convincing enough to create a playable character hearing voices or having hallucinations either in first person or third person. Max Payne (2001), Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004), Batman Arkham Asylum (2009) etc. had done that. However, it is hard to create a playable character who is convincing enough to be blind in third person. In fist person....well that will be easy but it will not be playable. Anyway, to me, the supreme form of presenting hallucinations in media is Perfect Blue (2000) - a blur between reality and insanity. Even a viewer (a player if it was a game) will be as confused as the character. Satoshi Kon (1963 - 2010) was able to do that without the need of consulting a psychiatrist and that is the power of human creativity.
A limiting factor with VR that I don't hear enough is the space requirement. It makes some sense that media outlets in the US probably don't consider. Generally you have less people in a larger area than a lot of other countries, so your buildings are spacious. I have a 2 bed detached house in the UK, my spare bedroom, where my PC is, is less than 6 ft wide. If I move some furniture I might, might, just about manage 6 ft squared in the living /dining room. Of all the people I know, and whose houses I go to, only 1 of them could meet that requirement without issue. Granted, they can be set up in standing only mode, but would you want to pay the full price for a limited experience?
Is Cthulhu saves the world good? I played first 40 minutes or so and loved the dialogue but the environment and enemies were pretty boring. Not sure yet how I felt about battle system. I got to what I believe was the first boss, which were these typical RPG heroes. Should I play more?
When it comes to Xbox, I think the selling point of it is that it's like PC, but it's more streamlined and easy to use compared to PC. So while some people say why make Xbox consoles when you're releasing all games on PC, it only makes sense to keep making them, as for some people, they don't want to go through the hassle with setting up PC, because Xbox is easier to use. So releasing varied Xbox consoles for different budgets is sensible. And before you say that I'm Xbox fanboy, I have never even owned a single Xbox console, though I've had NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, WII, PS3 and Wii-U (just to replace my broken Wii). And I game on PC these days.
How about doing a one-person-one-game then switching it to the next so that all parties can be more invested (not saying they aren't now) and not have to listen for such a long time?
Who slept and woke up on this
just happened to me bro
@@Vizible0 😂😂 i hope it was good sleep
Me lol😂😂
me
Me wtf lol
Thank you sponsors for contributing to the goal of a four hour frame trap
Getting close to that fabled 6-7 hour episode.
Damiani playing through Bloodborne again and appreciating it makes me so so happy.
This guy gets what makes video games great.
Rob Austin he gets what every bloodborne fan see in bloodborne respect for him.
Rob Austin Just hearing him talk about Bloodborne makes he so quick to jump on and play it again. He is right that it feels like a modern castlevania. Still my most memorable ps4 game.

By the way I really liked the discussion on Bloodborne prompted by Damiani. Good stuff!
Nice, thanks for uploading in the middle of my work night! This will pass third shift nicely!
A 4h Frame Trap! What a nice birthday present! Thank you!
The Leftovers is absolutely top tier, glad you're watching it Ben!
4 hour Frame Trap! Love it!

this FT has improved my day SIGNIFICANTLY
Yes it's a palette, thank you for getting there Kyle. That was the thing that had me kicking and screaming :P
By far still my favorite Easy-A Podcast
I loved hearing Damiani discuss Bloodborne. I really gained a lot of respect for him there!
Lets push for 5 hours!
50 hour Frame Trap at the Beach House, let's go, right now!
Damiani with the Bloodborne love! 2 years out, it's a classic.
RIP Legends 3. Never get over it.
I miss Ben sooooooo much. I seriously think Uncharted The Lost Legacy may be the most underrated game of all time
The orbs in Sonic Mania are from the bonus stages in Sonic & Knuckles where you have to race a line of electricity to the top of the stage using the orbs. There are so many callbacks to previous games I was drowning in happiness.
Ben talking about The Leftovers? It's a dream coming true for me
Awesome, amazing and criminally ignored TV show
Always love to hear more people praising The Leftovers! It's one of the best shows on TV in years and years imo.
if you're singing its praises now without even seeing what the rest of the show has in store for you, I can't wait to hear your thoughts about the rest of the series! International Assassin and A Most Powerful Adversary are on another level :D
Black shirt, droopy hair, Kyle Bosman is officially in his angsty teen phase, ladies and gentlemen
Our baby is growing up so fast. :'(
The Leftovers is so damn good. I miss it, but I'm glad it ended on such a high note.
The length of this Frame Trap is MORE than a Lord of the Rings movie. Take that Peter Jackson!
The perfect podcast company for a god awful assignment. Thanks gents. Love from Aus!
Ben, i think that the phrase you were looking for at 3:08:21 is "marketplace disconnect"
Here from the future having just finished Mega Man 1-10 and hearing Ben gush about the Legacy Collection is a blast. It was so much fun watching and experiencing that series evolve in rapid time.

The best two-person dynamics in Easy Allies are Bosman-Damiani followed by Ben-Huber
Josh Steinkopf I’m a pretty big fan of the Jones-Bosman myself
Legit takes me like 3 or 4 days to listen to these
I'd sit here and watch a 24hr Frame Trap, I could listen to any of the Allies talk about any game and never get bored. One day we'll break the 4hr mark, one day.
I haven't watched season 3 yet but The Leftovers is the best show on television in my opinion.
Joshua Wiljanen Season 3 adds to its greatness
Im glad they decided to end it there and not go on and milk it. Great TV show.
Lovvveeeee this panel
Damiani/Kyle dynamic cracks me up, and Ben is my favorite moderator out of any of the gaming podcasts I listen to
I listen to 6 of them
is kyle's hair a bit?
a bit what?
When Kyle is in question, always expect a bit.
He's rockin' the john lennon..
He said on the questions video that He wants the Squall hairstyle from FFVIII
IT'S HAPPENING BOYS.
Like an intentional meme or joke that's repeated
Oh man, I keep a link to this video for Damani to watch in a couple years. VR isn't going anywhere man.
Kyle rocking the longer hair, liking it.
A buzz cut in the back would make it quite stylish!
holy hell a 4 hour frametrap
love bloodborne! that's why I love this show to hear about older games still in the discussion. great job guys!
I hope I'm not the only one that really enjoys Sonic 1's secret stages, they're my favorite :)
"unlikely teamup" it's like ben was trying his best to avoid saying the phrase uneasy alliance
thanks 4 the Long podcast listened to the whole thing
Damiani with the Final Fantasy X spoilers at 1:54:00 :(
Car.h the games been out for 16 YEARS!! Jesus Christ!
Jake Willsher didn't get to play the ps2 game and just started it on ps4. My bad.
I know it happens, it definitely sucks, but hopefully you'll still love the game either way. FFX is so great, please don't let some spoilers sour the experience for you :)
Copious Love!
Endless Respect!
I love FF but cant get into 10
Jake Willsher ppl have also been born within that 16 years and probably never had access to the original.
Ben I love that you've worked the new sponsors into the Frame Trap law - buying you time while you try and escape the hellish Trap dimension!
(Also Damiani doesn't like getting his bum wiped pass it on)
I really want the demon of frame trap to announce sponsors each time, cause they're sponsoring frame trap, right? That would be more fun I think
Kyle was on his trolling A game here, love his dynamic with Damiani!
Hey! 2:08:35 Samus can totally did while in Phazon form if you let the bar fill up and remain with it maxed out for too long
Little patty cake baby is hilarious. Also neither Ian or Brad on the podcast and we still talked about both bloodborne and darksouls.
I can't be the only one that heard the mobs in Bloodborne saying "AWAKE, AWAKE!" instead of "away"
The painting thing is called a Palette
Ben looking at Kyle looking at Damiani looking at Ben
Been feelin down. Ten seconds into this podcast and i'm grinning ear to ear, laughing, and nodding my head agreeing with everything everyone is saying. Thank you. Best in the biz. this you tube update is terrible though huh?
I played the whole Mega Man X Collection just to unlock Battle and Chase and, Kyle, it absolutely was not worth it to me.
October is going to be bananas!
Palette.
Don't listen to any of these people, Bosman. Grow your hair EVEN LONGER!!
Cosmic Star Heroine reminds me more of Phantasy Star then Chrono Trigger
3 people, 4 hours..... i'm down for that.
Another four hours episode with othree people! :D
1:26:49 the twist is they're better off where they were, sending them anywhere is bad. also, the chapel dweller isn't actually nice, really pay attention to what he wants, and what happens when he gets what he wants; there's a connection.
I knew of Myths and Monsters was Kid Icarus because I recognized the subtitle, and I didn't recognize the other two games
Sony from today til december has Uncharted, Knack, Everybodys golf, Knack, GT Sport and Horizon dlc, as far as I can remember.
is Knack 2 as in the sequel to Knack. Not 2 different Knacks.
Whoa, I might have missed, but I didn't know Damiani was a fan of Bloodborne. It's so cool to hear him talk about it so passionately!
the painters tool is called a palate
Ok now i like Damiani
Love and respect Kyle, calll brad for a new haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay B You'll get your haircut when you fix this DAMN DOOR!!!
Jay B I really want a stream of Brad cutting the allies hair while they have non Gaming discussions about day today life and and anecdotes .
The Leftovers has one of the biggest jumps in quality of any tv show with season 3.
S1 and S2 are great but S3 is so leaps and bounds better that its jarring

Played some serious Battle Chase in my childhood. It's a fun videogame
I have a sitting on the shelf game story. Blue Dragon. I got up to the fight with the robot dragon right before the end in the 'other world' and got my ass stomped. i put it up and fell into another game, not intentionally but i left Blue Dragon on the shelf for at least 6 months. I like this Kyle. Genuine and passionate about video games. Sometimes his trolling rubs me the wrong way.
All I can see is Lightning nodding along in the reflection of the tablet
4 hour frame trap!
Damiani needs to play Lone Echo :) Movement in that is great and doesn't make you sick.
I like Kyle's long hair. Goblet of Fire babeh
Ben, did you really just say "give me a new Sonic character?"
I can't...
by manus yea. Like plz no. They need to use what they already have.
Long Frame Trap WOO! :D
Hello friendly helicopter! We love you!!!
Correction: mega man anniversary collection and X collection both came out on ps2, Xbox and GameCube. In mega man anniversary collection u can unlock both mega man arcade fighting games and in X collection u can unlock mega man battle & chase racing.
Lol Ben looked it up, my bad lol

bosman's hair is a wild animal
Ninja Theory did a great job on DmC.
Chalice dungeons were the greatest change of pace. Oh my gawd bloodborne one of the greats
Sonic Mania = Perfection
I suspect they delayed Crackdown 3 just to keep the stinkiness out of the way of the new xbox release. Probably a good call.
What an amazing year for television and video games.
Cant find that damiani bloodborne stream, not on twitch or youtube. would love to watch it
I know it's my fault for listening to the lost legacy but, I really wish I didn't know...
*gameplay spoiler below*
About the open world part. That would've been mind-bogglingly unexpected and would've had such a cool wow factor as a result. I'm hyped
About Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice:
Frankly, I don't see how is it hard to be convincing enough to create a playable character hearing voices or having hallucinations either in first person or third person. Max Payne (2001), Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004), Batman Arkham Asylum (2009) etc. had done that.

Kyle looks really tired, I hope he takes some time off if he's not feeling well.
I hope to god this is not a bit
Leftovers has the best music in any TV show.
the emotional triggers are out of this world. Damn those 2 beginning piano keys.
Why has no one made the comment that they thought would be the most repeated comment? It's called a palette.
about what sony has left this year..ppl always forget Knack 2!
Bosman's hair is alarming.
How so? It's just longer than usual. I personally think he looks worse when he cuts it short.
Kyle's hair is starting to look like Peter Parker's hair in Spider-man 3
Hey they got pallete
Is Cthulhu saves the world good? I played first 40 minutes or so and loved the dialogue but the environment and enemies were pretty boring. Not sure yet how I felt about battle system. I got to what I believe was the first boss, which were these typical RPG heroes.
Should I play more?
Damiani is an old fart. Great show everyone. Im loving it :)
And I game on PC these days.
is neon green X the new doc Brown spider monster?
