I think next time we have an event this large I'm just going to focus on what I believe are the most notable announcements and be very forward about it. Honestly it's better to cover as much as possible, what you consider "relevant" and what you like is not really going to coincide with what other people might be looking forward to lol Im totally fine with 2 hour long videos, just looking to be as informed as possible and i believe you might be the most reliable youtuber for that, please dont change it up

I never felt that this was an issue for you though. If it is you can simply show the picture + name or say if you like the figure or not. Nothing wrong with doing only that. That being said i also totally understand that covering the entirety of wonfest + research + editing is extremely time consuming. No mater how you tackle it. So if you feel that concentrating on highlights is a better use for your limited time i will 100% support that decision and still watch it.❤

1:04:32 Flare has been releasing the Rozen Maiden dolls in order of canonical creation. Suigintou is the first doll and has been out for a while. Kanaria is second and just released in January. Flare pairing Souseiseki and Suiseiseki into one figure is a nice touch because the dollmaker Rozen created them as twins. This particular pose is from the second season OP.

There were a handful of figures I was hoping to see a prototype for but nothing yet. Although I was amazed to see that there was a poster for Orca Toys of Juvia (Fairy Tail) since it has been unpainted for years. I am pleased with how Mahiru Shiina turned out, Spiritale made some improvements.

My favorites, that I really want to get are the Rozen Maiden figure, the Ann and Challe figures from sugar apple fairytale and the Maomao figure. I'm also interested to see what the Holo designs and witch Miku are gonna look like. I like the way the Yang Guifei and Kurumi hanfu style (with the folding fan) figures look, so I'll keep my eye on them. There were so many figures though, I may have forgotten some. It's been pretty exciting because this is the first time I'm experiencing wonfes as someone quite deep into the hobby. *^^*

Last year's WH/WF didn't feature all that much that really interested me but I gotta say, there's quite a few this time around that's got me excited. I've been wanting an Ozen and Marulk figure in some capacity for a while now and never thought it would happen anytime soon, at least not until we got closer to season 3 of 'Made in Abyss', which probably won't be until 2028. Amakuni, especially, has just whacked me in the back of the head and ran off with my 2024/2025 budget with so many great looking figs. I think the biggest highlight for me, and I know we're all suffering from Bridget fatigue at this point, but Amakuni's in particular, is not only great because she's wearing her GG:XX classic outfit but it's also based on a Grizzry Panda GK that I've sought after for some time now.
Grizzry Panda sculpts are always something to look forward to. If I had more time I might have looked into this Bridget figure more, but I was def stressin a little bit with this video lol. The pose did look familiar to me though
I didn't know that Tour Guide of the Underworld was getting a figure and the little Sangan is so cute so I have to jump on that. And I'm going to destroy my wallet for Persona 3 scales. I already pre ordered the Makoto Yuki and Elizabeth from Kotobukiya but I am insane enough for Persona 3 to get multiple. Sadly, I can't climb Tartarus to get free money as easily as S.E.E.S can. I'm also going to need that Toridamono x Claynel figure and the saitom one since I need to buy more figures from artists who drew for the games I like. Oh and that W, since the last figure was realized only in China and that was a pain to import.
Blue Archive fans are gonna be broke soon from all these new announcements! 😂 Tomoyo PUP is a blessing! Now if they add Syaoran & Mei Ling or even Eriol later... Not a lot of noteworthy figures for me this time so my wallet will be happy! 😆 Thanks a lot for covering both events~

The average 1/12 appeared too small for my collection but this recent news has gotten me excited, I might now be able to start purchasing figures with posable joints.

That Maes Hughes x Roy figure price point is INSANE, is it a 1/4 scale or something? That price makes no sense except to profit off nostalgia, especially since Maes barely gets any figures. The two figure argument doesn’t even apply considering the limited Roy x Riza one cost like half that, if not more.

Kadokawa came up with a good idea and then decided to procrastinate for 2 years or something lol. Honestly we are long overdue for Etna figures but the old Max Factory one is still quite nice despite the age. Glad I own it. there's also that one Volks kit where she's sitting on the prinny that I really like but I think you need to finish it up with paint to make her look good.
I wouldn't mind if you focused on figures that interest you more. You can talk in more detail of those figures. NGL figures lately feels overwhelming (amount + price wise).

My friend is constantly upset at the lack of Kaguya figures. Of Kaguya herself, not the series. Personally, I like too many things, and my wallet hates me.
I used to really like RWBY but not so much nowadays. So pretty conflicted about that, it does look nice but.... Old school Asuka and Rei sounds nice, I do like the original series a bit more, might pick up the pair. As much as I like Kurumi, I just can't get into busts... feels weird for figures. The Rasiel, on the other hand, is new, might become my 16th Kurumi. The Hanfu, while the fan is nice, I don't feel much for the figure. Maybe the more formal-ish look just doesn't suit her character? The others, just doesn't stand out enough for me to add to my already huge collection of her. Spirtale Liz Marin do look much better, planning to get. Did get the Aniplex swimsuit so gonna pass on the Spiritale one. The new Aniplex one is, best I can recall, non-canon, so gonna pass. Too many canon to get as is. Albedo is a tank, that is her normal combat gear. We just don't see a lot of it because... not a lot of enemy need her be serious. Aha, a dolled up MaoMao to go with the normal MaoMao, excellent! I'm... going to refrain from explaining the thing, you should get caught up. It's explained in like Ep 6 or something, not all that far in. I do need a Moon Cancer and Archtype:Earth is likely to be the one, as I just don't like BB and Sakura. It's basically between this one and Alter's. By the same token, the lady Avalon is a contender for Pretender. I kind of want a Hephaestion but that's a bit unlikely. I would have gotten that Abigail if not for the one Alter is going to make. I think tentacle are essential for her and those two show that off the best. I do also need a foreigner, it was between her and Houkasai. Those three would complete my classes. The Morgan looks very nice.
I never got into RWBY but this is the first time I was pretty impressed with figure from the series. The snowboard one is kinda neat too. Def agree about busts, though the Kurumi one isn't bad looking or anything. I've seen some weird ones that are very offputting lol. Also damn never knew that about Albedo lol. Mimeyoi definitely takes their time, though I remember hearing about some major problems at their warehouse? I don't recall the details but that could explain why they have slowed down
Last year's WH/WF didn't feature all that much that really interested me but I gotta say, there's quite a few this time around that's got me excited. I've been wanting an Ozen and Marulk figure in some capacity for a while now and never thought it would happen anytime soon, at least not until we got closer to season 3 of 'Made in Abyss', which probably won't be until 2028.
Amakuni, especially, has just whacked me in the back of the head and ran off with my 2024/2025 budget with so many great looking figs.
I think the biggest highlight for me, and I know we're all suffering from Bridget fatigue at this point, but Amakuni's in particular, is not only great because she's wearing her GG:XX classic outfit but it's also based on a Grizzry Panda GK that I've sought after for some time now.
Grizzry Panda sculpts are always something to look forward to. If I had more time I might have looked into this Bridget figure more, but I was def stressin a little bit with this video lol. The pose did look familiar to me though
Deedlit doesnt get enough love. I hope it does well and we get a few more figures. Judging by the base, that thing is likely going to be expensive!

I didn't know that Tour Guide of the Underworld was getting a figure and the little Sangan is so cute so I have to jump on that. And I'm going to destroy my wallet for Persona 3 scales. I already pre ordered the Makoto Yuki and Elizabeth from Kotobukiya but I am insane enough for Persona 3 to get multiple. Sadly, I can't climb Tartarus to get free money as easily as S.E.E.S can.
I'm also going to need that Toridamono x Claynel figure and the saitom one since I need to buy more figures from artists who drew for the games I like. Oh and that W, since the last figure was realized only in China and that was a pain to import.
Persona 3 is based so it's a good game to invest in at the very least lol

The average 1/12 appeared too small for my collection but this recent news has gotten me excited, I might now be able to start purchasing figures with posable joints.
I have a few 1/6 scale posables and they are definitely neat. I don't mind smaller scales but they have to be displayed by themselves

That Maes Hughes x Roy figure price point is INSANE, is it a 1/4 scale or something? That price makes no sense except to profit off nostalgia, especially since Maes barely gets any figures.

I was using Moepop's site. If you google moepop you should find it. The only reason I didn't link it is sometimes RUclips can strike your channel if you link to websites with Nudity, even if its not directly linked to it

Kadokawa came up with a good idea and then decided to procrastinate for 2 years or something lol. Honestly we are long overdue for Etna figures but the old Max Factory one is still quite nice despite the age. Glad I own it. there's also that one Volks kit where she's sitting on the prinny that I really like but I think you need to finish it up with paint to make her look good.
