Thanks for sharing this process. There is Mucha and Klimt and now Broderick. Love your originality. You always make it your own and definitely do the work.❤
this video has helped me so much! I went further and experimented with printing directly on the reverse side of graphite paper and it worked! Now no need for the extra layer of paper when transferring the image! I hope this helps you as much as you helped me
I might be doing this on a much smaller (simpler) scale, but it was great to see your process. And, I would put Wonder Woman out of your mind -- your artwork is wonderful and unique.
This drawing is so beautiful. Good you didn't trash it. I think you are the only one who see Wonderwoman - I don't think she looks like her at all. Btw this tutorial was really great. Particularly the rapidresizer-site was new to me. So I learnt a lot! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, Lydia ❤🙏❤
At the end of the video where you demonstrate the transfer paper...... As a tattoo artist of 20 years I started doing all of my print outs in red or light blue and used a pen or pencil over it. that way when I traced out my stencil I could see more accurately what I might have missed. :)
In the 90‘s we used a photo copy machine (A3) to print out a full sized pic for a stencil, to airbrush onto a truck or wall etc. A mosaic to stick together. Today I would use a beamer, or just draw it 😊 (experience teaches) Your work and attitude is fantastic!
Thank you! I love to hear what people did back in the day. I was wearing flannel in full on grunge with a goal of being a misunderstood angsty teenage artist back in the 90's.😁
@@lydiabroderick867 I was wearing Dr Martins and black. (still wear mostly black, but the shoes have elevated. Though Dr Martins are still badass and timeless
So cool!!! Ok, I did not know about the computer program to resize. Picture me at a copy shop, (or at work 🤫) on a full size copier enlarging & moving my image all around! Lol But once I made 20 mix & match copies I’m back on track. I tape and transfer the same. -Just on wood for a mosaic. The computer program will really help! Thanks Lydia 😁👍 Gorgeous drawing!!! 🎨
Thank you for this and all of your wonderful ideas and tutorials. Not only could I watch you paint and draw for days, I could also listen to you talk about it for days. Your passion for what you do shines through in every video. Can't wait to see your collage/painting on this one. Fingers crossed 🤞 your filming. Cheers luv 🍷
Thank you, going to try it. I normally project my drawings, but unfortunately a battle to combat warping! 🙌🏻👌🏻 Looking forward to the painting!! Enjoy the process 🎨💜
Hello Sunshine - your artwork is amazing. I love watching you draw. This is an interesting process. Hope to see you paint this on the canvas! (And remember to use sunscreen next time, or wear a light shirt. Too many of my friends are ending up with skin cancers. Don't let that happen to you! Cover up, sweet pea!) Have a fantabulous week. 🙂
Hello! I love this video- It is such a cool process. I never was aware of rapid resizer before. I am wondering if you think there is an advantage to using rapid resizer vs using a projector and projecting your artwork onto the canvas? Maybe for details? Thanks so much 😊
Hey Lydia not sure which video you may have explained but could you do a video on how to finish the edges if you do and how to apply varnish when complete and how long oil over acrylic takes to dry.
Thanks for a great tutorial! Love your work. What is your take on a projector? I admire your patience doing first the sketch and then transferring it to canvas.
Apollo went to the Moon with 12 men... Next year, Artemus is going back with the first 4... (sorry, my space-geek is showing lol) I often use my printer to enlarge images I want to transfer, I also use carbon paper under it and now you've just shown me another trick... Using a coloured pen to do the tracing, that way you don't miss anything before you lift it up! Great idea!! Thanks Lydia... Have great weekend😎😍.
This was super helpful! The only time I’ve tried tracing with carbon paper, the areas where my hand rested on the paper as I traced ended up rubbing off onto the canvas and they wouldn’t come off. Anyone know if it’s just cause my carbon paper sucked or what?
Thanks for sharing this process. There is Mucha and Klimt and now Broderick. Love your originality. You always make it your own and definitely do the work.❤
Thank you Lynne!!!❤❤❤

Thank you so much! I'm in the process of painting her now. I think she looks less like Wonder Woman in color!😁❤

Beautiful! And informative😁
Very interesting and helpful. Thank you.
Im learning so much from you. Thank you for being so Rad
Thank you for thinking I'm Rad!!! ❤❤❤
Can you save in Rapid Resizer so you can save and print elsewhere? I don't have a printer at home. Awesome video! Very helpful
You might be able to... I'll have to look into that.
Thank you for this! I will try this way! ❤.
Thank You Lydia👍👍👏👏😘
Very helpful as I often make ink or pencil drawing then....disappointed as face challenge of making it larger on watercolor paper.
Thanks, that was great to see.
What about doing your design then get a poster done of it so u can easily put it onto your canvas?
Thank you😊

I hope we get to see the painting 🎨
👍🏻👍🏻
I always hears graphite is not the way to go because it will always comes up after you paint over it…
I haven't had any issues with it and I've been using it for years.
If you're concerned about the drawing showing through, you could give it a light spray with a hair spray to seal it.
Does upgrading show more if the process? I think I missed some
❤
