You’re a madman Josh…. But we’re all grateful for you and your braveness to do this experiment in such extreme conditions!!! Keep up the great work and again, thanks for testing this theory for all of us.
You’re welcome. It’s all fun, till a tire pops and we gotta call our wives. 🤣😂 it’s all apart of the experience and journey for guys like us though. Have a blessed day and keep up the great content bro.
@drewontwo6519 I was like "I'm not calling her I'm riding my flat home like last time". 2 seconds later I realize I'd have 3 miles of pushing or just call my own bluff and walk 100 yards backwards to the main road lol.
Lol main road it is. 3 miles in that, pushing a 123lbs bike with a flat, while it’s freezing out….. nope, not happening lol ring ring, wifey to the rescue. That’s the route I’m taking every time lol just my luck I’d mess up the rim trying to get it home on my own.
Haha right. Good news for our rims is I've tried a 5 mile journey this summer with a flat. Dirt road the whole time so I figured the rocks would mangle my rim. But nothing lol. I was going 20 on the flat too
@ltsjoeyy oh yea you definitely don't want to let your bike sit outside in the cold if your not riding it. I found that the battery stayed normal temp after a 2 hour winter ride and the motor was nicely warm but not hot. My garage stays around 60 degrees for reference.
@@JoshTheElectric that’s sweet man I’m hoping to get one soon I’m in Canada so winter is coming I saw the xxx black comes with the supermoto wheels so I’ll probably have to get a set for winter , can I ask what wheel set you have for winter riding ?
@@JoshTheElectricI never had an issue leaving mine outside in 0 degree temperatures and riding it to work. When it gets really cold it automatically disables regen and the motors sound a bit different. I think if you let it warm up before charging it isn’t too bad.
Did you put the riser bars on with the regular neck that came with the bars ? i got one and i wanna ad some bars for mine soon but I'm not sure what ones to get and I'm not sure how they will fit with the stock neck?
Yes I just slapped some warp 9 handlebars on and they fit perfect to the factory stem. Don't cheap out with Amazon bars as they will bend after a crash. These have held up for a year with no scratches in the paint after alot of crashes.
Shoot that would have been a good video but I might upgrade my headlight and do it anyways still. But I just took my old one off and used 1 off the power and ground wires from that for a direct link up to the new one. Our factory headlight has 3 power wires so that is pretty cool for future mods.
Yea I've tried the slime and it works perfect on tubeless tires but with the tubes I haven't ever had luck. My last tire had slime and it left me stuck in the woods. But I for sure need one if those air cans

I appreciate that! Thank you man. Its all fun

Looks fun!! Your XXX is looking awesome too
Thank you man I appreciate it.
truly impressed!!
Is it reliable to ride in a bit of snow ?
Oh for sure. Make sure you have proper tires. Full throttle and hold on.
@@JoshTheElectric sweet thanks man ! Was just curious if it was bad for the battery or anything in the snow and cold

Looked both fun and miserable lol.
Tubes? I'd carry a little bottle of slime and one of those small inflators.
