Wow range was a lot better than anticipated , as was speed. Even if we knock 10% off due to poor calibration it's pretty impressive. I had crossed the 3x off my list because officially it says 44 mph and 40 mile range @ 20mph so this is loads better. I am 6 foot and heavy though so I may get less impressive results 😂

I think I switch "GR" to 1:7.5. I don't have that screen on my XXX anymore so I can't look back at it.
@@PatOutdoors It just stopped working and I think might have leaked hydraulic fluid. Also it’s the kit from electro and co with a 160mm rotor. I’m getting etm forks in about a week so maybe it would fit that. I’m not sure.
So for the people getting the NEW Talaria XXX, you know, the updated one…are those the ones with the black wheels and the black suspension knob instead of that stupid blue one?
This one has the black preload adjustment knob on the left side of the fork (instead of the earlier model with the blue one.) The supermoto 17" wheelset also came black with this Black Edition from Luna.
I'm actually still using the factory tubes for the meantime. I'm thinking about switching to heavier duty slightly larger tubes for my new tires at some point later on though

Fully depends on YOUR main use for the bike. The XXX is a great bike and has plenty of aftermarket parts available for it, but the best for offroad use.
I went through the same trust issues with buying one "in stock" on websites out of the country. I just waited patiently through LUNA Cycle and goes on their email list. It randomly comes in stock every few weeks, just pounce on it when you get the email alert.
@@CobySenoff That’s a tough one.. so I own both of them. Talaria XXX is better for street / city use. Mantis X is a bit faster and set up better for off road. Luna cycles may have a little better customer support.. Talaria also has a much faster charger and aftermarket parts availability

I spoke about this on the video directly after this one on the play list, the speedo is inaccurate. You have to change the setting in the display to the correct gear ratio for it to read correctly.

make sure the Gear ratio (GR) is set at 1.75 for accurate milage and MPH. It comes wrong from the factory.

What do you mean by it giving out? What rotor did you use? Pit bike brake calipers only fit pit bike forks unfortunately
