The new MX5 is looking pretty nice right now!! The MX5's upgrades are pretty substantial besides just the 72V system actually, which will give you good Range and that extra power! It already does 60mph stock on the heavier bike, with all of the heavier duty parts they added to change it from basically all MTB parts, to properly sized parts for a fast EBike like this... It's overdue that these bikes should already have been made like that. You now have proper DOT Fluid based brakes. Looks like thicker, coated SS brake lines. With massive Calipers and Master Cylinders. Massive brake pads finally, to stop using MTB parts on these powerful EBikes. Massively upgraded Wheel Hubs with bigger Bearings & HD Spokes. You could also now build nice custom wide wheels like 21/18's, on the stock Wheel Hub. Even better suspension than the MX4 which was already the best stock, by far. The fork tubes are substantially thicker and basically again, the proper size for a Ebike, not MTB parts. Will probably be very good and most won't to even need to ever change it out. The rear shock was already really good as well on the MX4. Upgraded Foot Pegs to a proper size and style for the bike. You also get the new upgraded Gear Box, which is a much bigger size. Holds more oil. Upgraded Gear box Mounts. 520 sized chain for the power & longer chain/sprocket life. To me, the three modes is a nice feature. I've been thinking to myself for a while now, that it would be great if my MX4 had 3 modes. I basically wanted it exactly how they did it on the MX5 too which is awesome. I figured id have to wait for an aftermarket controller to get that though, maybe its time to upgrade to an MX5 and move my parts over to it. Also based on what he said, it seems like they smoothened out the throttle response vs the MX4 because sport mode can be alittle snappy at low speeds on the MX4 with the stock controller. Also, the new color display for the MX5 is literally all you need and it won't be sticking out to get broken like the big screens they have now. Which for me at least would eventually break in the woods riding like we do.. When you drop the bike on a rock or tree its bound to hit one day lol. Plus im sure they will make an optional big color screen like they made for the MX4. Large color screen upgrade for the MX5, for those that want that bigger screen on the Bike.. I really dont see a reason not to get the MX5... If you are shopping right now for a bike, the price is great and its just in a different league at this point.. Plus its mainly based off the MX4 which is already proven to be a great bike and proven to be reliable. Talaria uses quality parts on their bikes. Look at the new charger its even much nicer.. They upgraded and fixed almost everything you could of possibly wanted and the price only went up a few hundred dollars more than the MX4 which is insane.. Surron needs to get it together and release a New LBX already! The Hyper Bee will sell bc its a great kids' bike, but it won't sell like a new upgraded Surron LBX V2 would!!
@@HCG They look similar to the MX4 Tires so i would say no its probably too soft, but you could get replacement tires for the stock wheels, and you could put stud's on those. @dhanbudathoki9543 Easy for you to say, I can't work. Trust, I've spent most of my life working, but I have a disability that I deal with every day due to excessive drinking, lol. (I spent nearly every day drinking for about 6 years straight) Something I brought upon myself.. so I'm not here to say it's impossible. it's just very difficult for me to do, even with now being 14 months sober, but as of right now, I just can't. Wish I could, but that's not even a possibility for me.. lol. I wish though :D
Still 72 volts after all this time. These people really don't want the money of people who think. I live completely off-grid. It saves me a ton of money. As it happens, I'm in the market for electric transportation and am currently converting a Ford Ranger to move under 144-volt power (because 144 is divisible by 48 and can get my truck up to 60 mph at a reasonable cost, with enough wattage). This way of thinking is exactly why I'm holding out for a 96-volt electric motorcycle that can comfortably carry me at 80 mph. None of these companies has done anything more than follow a trend. Who is going to be the leader of the pack? It will be the one who splits their pack into 48-volt batteries whose BMS gets connected only when it is time to charge and disconnected when it's time to ride. I've seen so many opportunities go missed as new technologies mature. It's always for the same reason R&D is ran and manned by under-achievers. Bring me a motorcycle that I can charge with my home's DC power and without conversion losses. Make the connection so pure that it can act as part of the batter bank. Life is about providing something that others want so that others will help you to advance your goals. Talaria and Surron are both failing to bring anything that we can't build with parts from Alibaba.com or anything that we can't buy from them fully ready to run. bro I wish I could afford one of these I been saving for sooo long and still ain’t even close 😭😭
Thank you for inspiring me to get into bike's I currently ride a gas 80cc pit bike but it recently stopped working for some random reason. After watching your videos for so long I finally made the decision to start saving up for the razor mx 650 and the electro and co 52 volt kit its gonna take me a while but I'm putting my mind to it so wish me luck and thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you for the Video ,I hope they will make a street Legal one,I’m in California Marin County cops here don’t like this bikes on the Street…
Where is bros weekly upload😢😢😢😢
Video ends at 13:47
Bro thank you so m7ch, I thought it ended at 0:01 and I didn't know why it took me to the start of the video. Thank you. 🙏
Don’t and will nvr understand why a e-bike cost as much as a real bike 😂
Because these people buy them like crazy. Didn't buy them and the prices will lower
Got a good recommendation for a real bike?
I think people are willing to pay more for the ability to ride wherever they want
It's different uses for different people
Ahh but they dont. They cost much much less over the life of the vehicle.
No oil. No gas. No plugs. No clutch.
Just brake pads and eventually the chain and MAAAAAYBE the battery will lose some max range.
Love your videos
You are very good in this field
Where’s the new video
my ass I just got an MX4 2 months ago
I’d be pissed
@@tellthetruth7497 i am
.....same boat....
I got an eride delivered a week ago….im pissed too
@Boingftw Just the stronger wheelset and brakes make it worth the increased price IMO. I really beleive this is the one to beat now. Actually considering trying to sell my MX4 that I've only had for 2 months and upgrading!
