I have a 2011 escape and mine won't pair I have the phone option on my radio but not on the steering wheel I push the phone and it says no phone and won't do anything else
If all the fuses are good, then most likely you need a software ugrade done by Ford Dealership. I've seen it often of Ford vehicles, software update takes care of that problem usually
It wont even talk to me anymore. It just says Bluetooth is off. I turn it on and the system just turns it off again. Idk what happened it just randomly did it. I even did a master reset and factory default and still doesnt work. Any help on that?
Escape's often have problems with Bluetooth connectivity. Is your software updated? If not take it to Ford Dealer for a scan and software upgrade. That solves this issue most often
Same here! And it just just happened, Although unfortunate that it happened to someone else, I’m also glad cause this brings awareness to a extremely irritating problematic issue
@@nathanlackey1106 well that may help for the majority but there are a good handful of us where the Bluetooth is like Locked in Off Mode on the Sync System, No Matter a Hard Reset and No Matter a Restore back to Default Settings Action
Hi sorry not that I know of and I don't have that car anymore to double check. If it helps here is my video on how to replace the faulty screen: ruclips.net/video/8OnHoT3AJNo/видео.html
That is a common problem on Escapes. I would first try disconnecting the battery for few minutes and see if that resets ford sync. If not try removing the sync fuse and reinstalling and hopefully that will do a hard reset. If that doesn't work you might have to update the software to newest version
Lots of people are saying they can't get bluetooth music even after connecting properly. Phone calls usually work. You can try updating the software at Ford Dealership, I heard that helped in few cases
If it doesn’t play the audio, press the speak button on the steering wheel (it’ll ask u to give a command) and say “Bluetooth audio”
Thanks for sharing
You’re the goat thank you
I have a 2011 escape and I don’t see the speak command on the steering wheel
Thank you!!
Love it. Good job. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!

Is there another way to connect the telephone and how to liste to music in the stereo?
The most common and simplest way is just by using bluetooth. If not, you can connect it by aux but then you will be able only to listen to the music
You don’t need a update, press menu, go to media menu, set source, set Bluetooth media

Ok I got that but how do you actually play stuff from my phone threw the speakers cuz I turn something on my phone and it’s just silence
You should select Bluetooth under sound source or I believe you can give a voice command as well
@@QuiteAlright sound source doesn’t pop up when I tap the menu
@@emperorbelos6835 try disconnecting the battery and see if that "resets" it. Or try removing and reinserting radio fuses and see if it helps.
Any advice on it not hearing me with the voice activation?
Hmm try resetting SYNC by disconnecting the battery for 15 min. Also you can try removing the sync fuse and reinserting
What if we don’t have the phone 📞 button ? My car doesn’t have it
