Hi Meaghan, I've followed your instructions via the video and the pattern, and have turned up short of yarn. I changed to a 3.5mm hook and also came up with not enough yarn.. any solutions?
I would double check your gauge and make sure it matches what is listed in the pattern. If that isn’t the issue you could pull back and instead of carrying the yarn as you would for tapestry crochet you could make small balls for each section of color A and use the intarsia technique instead. That may make the yarn go farther.
