it's a fun challenge I just moved into the burnt biome had a good run in forest but I was hampered a bit with my pick of crafting and horde base combo picked it because it's an easy one to make the tall silos just take one ladder bit off at the top stick a block there to block them and get them coming up that long ladder... take out a bit of the conveyor belt in the building and it's mostly ready but I kept falling while I was working spraining or breaking my leg so that slowed me up a little. had time to move all my stuff into the next biome and a little time to harvest some extra Chrysanthemums and Goldenrod on my final run out of the forest since it isn't plentiful in the other biomes I usually sell their seeds but hung onto those as well. My first airdrop landed where I couldn't go so other then that and the injury from falls issues it went pretty well.
Nice, you'll be done with this challenge before long! I'm looking forward to spending time in the Burnt Forest, been a while since I stayed there for any length of time.
Looks like a tough challenge! Just made it past day 14 horde on my Xbox without dying yet. One of those freaky dyer wolves showed up. I am spec’d almost all agility except for a point here and there to get magazines. Oh and a cigar in my hat to get miner 69’r to level 3
Just my opinion, I think it would make a bit of sense if you could do quests in a lower "layer" if you are sent there but not higher. And only quests, no visiting for any other reason.
As a newer player, im doing this on adventurer. I also reduced the number of zombies on horde night to 32. And my zombies are walking, not running or sprinting. I only have 1300 hrs in the game
also cheese is good i indulge in cheese every single game... I think one of these days i'll do a cheater cheater run and make my guy only eat pumpkins 😁....bit of luck getting the place you wanted to build your base at as a quest I really like that building as a base. only time i read and dont sell is when I read them by accident or I and loaded down and I find something really good..also charred meat is one of the quest list thingees easy early XP i forget if it's cook it or eat it
I just do what feels right for me, if it includes some light cheesing so be it! Sometimes the game cheeses the player (spawning Zombies behind us from parts of POI's we've already been through for example) so yeah, I cheese it right back sometimes!

Yeah I can see your point with that, I just like the premise of being locked to each layer for 7 days at a time.

I think that last chicken at the Dead Rooster had Stockholm syndrome. It ran and gained it's freedom only to return to be butchered.
