There is a limit, for each ruling. But no limit as long as it's over a new ruling each time. Eventually it just becomes frivolous and those bringing the appeal can be sanctioned.

I'm going to open a library of only banned books
I have no grandchildren but have been buying kids books for years. I already have many adult banned books (Really? Fahrenheit 451?) so started on the children books. If any of the children in my neighborhood want to read one, I'll check with their parents then loan it out.

I've actually read two of those books( actually I read Charlotte's Web more than once). There is absolutely nothing wrong with those books. They are in fact, timeless classics.

Of course the books aren't actually getting banned, just removed from school libraries. But still, it seems like it's moving in that direction. By the way, I think what the kids answered really rings true. Many people don't want their kids to be smarter than them, they just want their kids to live in a bubble, be uninformed and bigoted. This is really sad.

Any parent should be able to buy access to all library books in the Library of Congress for their children for about $100.00 a year. This would include all types of books. Medical, Engineering, Mathematics, Plumbing, Electrical, etc..... If the parents supply the access to their children, nobody else could have a say in what your children don't have access to.

The counter point to not having immunity would be something like a rival political party deciding a pandemic or immigration wasn’t handled well enough. Then try to elevate that to the level of a crime because they argue that it hurt the country.
Kind of like how impeachments are thrown around left and right.
I think it was a somewhat difficult decision. Personally, I’m a little concerned about how this might be used in the future. However, what put it over the top was that immunity meant the president would not be accountable to any branch of the government. Basically an autocrat.
The real concern should be having a president that can do anything without concern of prosecution!
