Trump was found liable in massive fraud and ordered to pay almost $500m in fines. Which he STILL hasn't paid lol! No point defending Trump on this - the Judge had every right to clear the court, due to the obnoxious conduct of the witness.

Why? He is behaving like a dysfunctional parent. Trunp has been sitting there blatantly committing criminal contempt, and he failed to do anything about it. So this witness came in thinking he can also behave contemptuously.

Last I checked between the 2 running candidates only one of them has a successful track record and he had to contend to a worldwide crisis/epidemic while the other can't find his way off the stage on a good day and shakes hands with invisible people and falls over thin air on a bad dad. One left office with a 1.4 percent inflation rate and the other is struggling to bring it down to 3 percent from the 9 percent he's had the majority of his term. Ones projected to lose every battleground state, with the exculsion of one and even that's debatable because it's within the margin of error and some polls are alluding to potentially losing in a landslide, while the other sits in a bogus trial that the longer it goes on becomes more and more of a clown show and its not because of the defense.

I am an official court reporter in a similar court in my state. My judge has NEVER had to clear the courtroom in a jury trial. A note about daily transcripts, the daily copy the court reporter puts out is a rough draft. While there may be some small errors or omissions in these dailies, the final transcript will be a different matter. Before a final draft, the court reporter will make corrections and fill in any dropped words, and it is the official record of the court and extremely accurate. I can't imagine the pressure this court reporter is under, but she seems to be doing a great job. Kudos to her, and kudos to the judge, and kudos to the rest of the court staff for taking control of the courtroom!

Thanks for going to the court for the rest of us Lawrence. Appreciate the on site insights.
I had to attend court over a period of years then an exacting few weeks to ensure the murderer of my friend went down for it. They got 2nd Degree murder. Like you said, all the friends of the victim felt a sort of collective "love" for the judge and after the successful verdict, he came to us as a paternal figure and told us how touched he was that we had all showed up day after day to see justice done in his court for our lost friend. He told us he hoped this helped us and allowed us to move forward in our lives. More than a few of us cried.

The whole collection of people associated with 45 is nothing but contemptuous! The defense really called in a good witness! Someone who may get charged with contempt of court if he keeps rolling his eyes at the judge. When those associated with 45 fall, they fall hard, and far.
