We debut our awesome new COMMERCIAL Zero turn lawn mower and see just what it can do. We finally have our new mower and it is sweet! Plus Rachel has a surprise for you!
Check out our website! hardworkingman...
Check out our Amazon Store! www.amazon.com...
Man you can't get any better then Rachel does firewood and mows the lawn
She is one of a kind!
Firewood too. Man I ant even get my wife to check the oil. LOL
Looks like a great choice. Since I run the more traditional commercial mowers I’m really going to be watching how YAKTA’s entry into the market turns out. By the way, if wet grass leaves a lot of clumps put your deck all the way up and go over it again. You’ll be amazed at how the clumps disappear. The key is putting the deck all the way up.
Thanks for the tip! You may have to road trip up here to check it out and give us some pointers.
Congratulations on on the new lawnmower I cutt 2.5 acres of grass in the trailer park with a old Poland pro riding lawnmower I would love to have one of them I’m really impressed
Thanks, you’d love it!
You both love your new mowers and that's what counts!
Enjoy your new mowers, though two seems a little extreme 😉, and looking forward to future reviews. 👍
We could definitely get buy without 2, but what fun would that be? We love doing comparisons etc. plus we have 2 properties about 50 minutes apart so now we won’t have to constantly trailer one all summer.
Glad to see you made the right choice 😎 jokes aside glad to see your thought process behind choosing the right mower for you, and looking forward to seeing you put the 710 to the test!
Thank you, we’ll test it out for sure! I’ve already read one comment from a viewer that owns a Yakta and the customer service you provided him will definitely set Yakta apart from the competition! Looking forward to growing with you!
Have to say that I've been looking and as soon as I saw the 910 BEAST you showed I was psyched. this 710 is PERFECT
I’m sure they’ll make some tweaks but I think within a few years they’ll be running in the top of the pack with some of the big names.
Kudos to your wife for being willing to cut grass! Been married for 53yrs and my wife has never cut one blade of grass…..
Thanks, she loves it.
@@alanlashley943 ;:I feel for you
All''s fair in love and war when it comes to Rachel's flowers and Heath's robo mower!!
For sure! Lol
Hydrostats on heavy machines require some special techniques to maneuver around objects, even in relatively dry conditions. In the wet, it's almost impossible on any to avoid plowing the ground with the tires. I no longer simply go around stuff in one go. I use multiple little 3-point-turns. Works well.
We definitely need to work on our maneuvering and 3 point turns! This thing is heavy and will take a little getting used to.
I do landscape maintenance for work, a lot of the time on a zero turn mower, both sit down and stand on types. The hardest thing about using one is not tearing into the grass, especially since many people water it the day its mowed. Like the commenter said, you need to do slow-ish small 3 point turns, or even better, use the sidewalk or driveway to turn around when you can. On bone dry grass you can get away with a lot more wrecklessness
Very nice mower Heath and Rachel . I think Rachel got the BADBOY .
Thanks Del, I will say Rachel’s mower sure rides nice!
It does a great job for a zero turn radial cut mower.
I agree! Thanks.
Almost all mowers have a cup holder for your drink. What I liked is the cover for your drink so it's not full of grass clippings. Nice feature.
Yes it is!
Nice looking mower. You said there be lots video's to come on this mower and that sounds good to me. Put it to the test. Sounds like Rachel is having her own. Wow cannot wait to see that video. Take care.
Thanks, there’ll definitely be more test videos, and yes we have one more mower to debut soon!
Congrats on the mower!! I hope y’all love it! Can’t wait to hear how it is on hills. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, we’ll get it over to my buddies with some hills when we get a chance.
We’ve been doing some testing near the office in between the constant rain. Can’t wait for them to put it through the ringer!
@@yaktaoutdoor I have hills here in Ky that I have to side hill mow as there’s no run out at the bottom. Just trees and a creek. So I’ve been looking at various makes and models so I can upgrade as I do about 6 plus acres a week. Right now I have a 48” JD residential and it’s ok but definitely won’t last. lol
@@peteschiavoni my property is relatively flat, though rough. Hence I have a Ferris with suspension. I do however have a ditch in front along the road with sloping sides. I have to be real careful running alongside that. The only traction with a zero turn are the rear wheels. They are wide and designed to minimize the ground bearing pressure. So, even with a chunky tread, they have limited grip. I'm always ready to push the control handle on the lowest tire as the machine will slide a little down-slope, even in perfectly dry conditions. Interestingly with hydrostats, if you reverse in a straight line on a flat section of grass, then it starts to slope, and you are at an angle to that slope, the mower will naturally turn to attack the slope square-on, even with you still pulling back in a straight line.
I've had to use my truck to pull my Ferris out of the ditch! I have a path crossing the ditch. One castor wheel caught the large gap between the paving slabs as I was turning up-slope. The interference was enough to make the rear tire spin and it immediately lost traction and slid backwards into the ditch! Fortunately the Ferris is also built like a tank and there was no damage, except to my pride! 😂
Wow I’m impressed guys well done and very proud of you both you did awesome am glad your happy with your decision take care god bless ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you David.
Congratulations on the new zero turn mower Heath and Rachel. Heath I have a small request I would like to see how well it does on side hills.
Thanks Chris, I plan on taking it over to a buddies to mow some hills when we get a chance.
Congratulations on the new mower. It looks like a solid peace and one of the better looking mowers. With the warranty they will become very popular. The test of time will tell
I agree. I think they’ll withstand the test of time but we will see.
What kind of motor. Trans.blades. belts. Closeups of deck. Poor video.
@@BobbyCole-nu7tq did you not watch the video? We clearly stated that this was a rough overview. We posted a video last week with more information and also stated that we would have more in depth videos coming! Guess you missed that part.
I bought mine the 1st part of June. 610 54” and it has a thing or 2 I’m unhappy with. Overall this is a beast of a mower. The deck clogs up a bit easy and the discharge flap is very weak.
The customer service side is The best ever. If/when I had an issue it was a call to a few of the diff guys I have cell numbers for and they were the best at helping me to find the solution to the problem.
I needed a belt and at 6:15pm Tulsa time I contacted Cody and he called, way after his work hours and said in the morning I will send it out. Next day air, the following day boom it was here. They had a few little issues they discovered. Cody contacted me and told me. Said Denley was coming to Oklahoma and wanted to come to the house and address them. On Monday, Memorial Day Denley spent 3 hours in my driveway.
Tell me any other manufacture of anything that does this.
They truly care about the hard working guy that spends his money to buy their product. They are great.
That is awesome! I’m sure they’ll have a few issues to address being new to zero turns, but that truly is amazing customer service! I think they’ll make a name for themselves!
I watched this new mower video while I was in Fort Collins, Colorado. I am driving an Amish family on a western adventure, a trip of a lifetime.
Have a safe trip, we love Colorado!
Great looking mower!! Hope ot serves y'all Well!!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks David, I think it will.
You guys are the best RUclips ever and I'm so happy for you post me the new video thank you
Thank you!! We spot the feedback!
Heath I think you have the winner, I’m guessing Rachel has a Bad Boy 60 in ,an excellent choice.
Thanks Brian, we’ll debut Rachel’s ride soon!! Waiting on one thing.
When it says, request a quote…you know it’s EXPENSIVE!!!!
Not as expensive as you’d think. We also have introductory procing right now, so some of the units are cheaper than other mowers with the same engine, hydro’s, etc.
Main reason we have the request a quote is to help you find the right mower, a dealer in stock, and ensure you always have the contact info of our client care team.
They aren’t cheap but no quality commercial mower is. I will say they appear competitively priced and I think their customer service will set them apart!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors
If you’re talking commercial mowers, I understand they’re generally pricey…but MOST of us are looking residential.
Great info but a piece of advice. With any type of zero turn mower, when you are turning around to start a new pass, do a “y” or “k” turn. Swinging directly into a 180° turn will tear up your grass, especially if the ground is soft or wet. Thanks for the info on the mower though. Very informative!
@@guitarplayernoteworthy2857most who buy lawn mowers are actually in the landscaping trade as myself that are buying commercial mowers. Residential mowers/consumers are small percentage compared to commercial. These mower companies put most of there emphasis on their commercial units
After watching all of your video's on this I think you made a excellent choice.
The k you Tedd, it is awesome!
Heath and Rachel congratulations 🎊 nice 👍 to know maybe 🤔 you guys can compare who’s a better mower person 😮😊❤
Thanks Todd, I feel like you are setting me up to get beat by Rachel again lol.
What engine, what drive line?
good video and job looks good i have never seen one of them. poor little robot mower i think it was crying. both of you take care and be safe.
Thanks! Yakta is a new manufacturer of zero turn mowers. Their parent company has been around for a long time though building agricultural items Arrowquip.
Everyone is bias about their mowers. I like loc roller driven reel mowers, just be prepared to rake your grass before you start mowing. A reel mower cuts like scissors while rotary mowers tear the grass off. Well hopefully you bought a mower that's right for Rachel and you, Heath.
Thanks Stephen!
Looks like a nice machine. And good score on the new truck!
Thank you! I think we’ll like them both!
Love your videos. Please continue with them.
Thank you, and we plan on it!
Nice a free machine, you can not beat that!
For sure, and now we get to test and compare it with others!
Thanks for this one. I love my ExMark but love to see what other folks are doing. The Yakta looks awesome though a bit too high tech for me. Different strokes for different folks. I wanna see how it holds up.
Thanks, ExMark is tried and true but I think Yakta is going to make a splash in the mower world.
Congrats on the new mower! I'm turning green! Better get Rachel 🐰 a 4-point harness and a helmet!!😂
Thanks, she was definitely having some fun with it!
You may want to watch a few vids on how to turn with a zero turn in order to NOT rip up patches of grass especially when its wet.
Yeah it’s been a while since we ran a zero.
I hope you guys enjoy it Heath I've never heard of them until your video.
Ryan, we’ll be sharing more in upcoming videos. So far we’ve been nothing but impressed!
Bring them I'm there watching.
@@ryanfoley9999 we will!
At first I thought why are you "buying" a mower without dealer support close by but then it dawned on me that hey I own a Eastonmade 48C with no dealership support and the factory is 1000 miles away. When I have a breakdown all that I have to do is give Jeremy a call and with a little mechanical knowlege and the parts he ships me I am back up and running. Hopefully Yakta will work the same way, after all these machines aren't rocket ships. Can't wait to see what mower Rachel gets. 2 new ZTRs and a new truck you must be going into the lawn mowing business. Great video!
Thanks Ed, I think Yakta customer service will be top notch! They plan to have needed parts to your door with in 24 hours! Now that’s impressive. I read a comment where another Yakta owner needed a belt and they next day air mailed it to him!
That's exactly what we're doing. If you need any parts, they'll be at your door in 24 hours
@@yaktaoutdoor Do you sell direct?
looks like a real nice machine . john
Thanks John, it is.
❤❤🎉😊❤🎉 I'm happy for you guys
Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
Nice burnout Rachel 😂
Yes she did!!
Congratulations on finding one idk a lot about yakta but from what I’m hearing they are very reliable and if it’s not what you’re expecting I guarantee it’s better than husqvarna I’m truly sorry that they treated a customer like that and a power equipment company as well Kawasaki engine even so that is at least one good thing about the mower best of luck to you and your mower
Thank you, I have heard nothing but good things about Yakta customer service. It’s definitely well built too.
I was looking for a Residential mower reviews to decide. Really surprised that a homeowner has a Commercial mower to review. Good video although overkill for most homeowners.
The ride and performance on these commercial mowers makes mowing so much more enjoyable. Overkill, sure, but worth it.
Nice looking mower. I would love to try that mower in Florida St Augustine grass. St Augustine grass would put it to some tough test. Will continue to watch the tests coming up.
Thanks, we’ll definitely be testing it out.
I have the Commercial Mulching Deck on my JD Zero Turn, best thing since sliced bread, it is excellent at cutting up leaves or even Tall grass, no Hay left on the Yard..
The true commercial machines are definitely nice!
Hey guys, you should try a Y turn when mowing. That helps ease tire spinning on grass.
Love the new mower!
Definitely, we didn’t have to worry about it with our old lighter zero turn with less aggressive tires but will definitely have to adjust to this.
I would definitely have opted for the Yakta, so I’m glad to see that’s the one you ended up with.
It is an awesome mower with what appears to be the best customer service in the industry! I think they’ll be quite popular here shortly.
Ya but are they made in China?
@@brucedale4465 All our parts are sourced from North America, primarily the US, and some from Canada. The mowers are assembled just above the border in Manitoba Canada. We're building another facility in Knoxville Tennessee in the near future too.
I really enjoyed your comprehensive videos of the many brands. I’m glad that Ball equipment made it right but I have to wonder without the power of RUclips if they would have stepped up. My only concern is with any “first year” models there are usually issues but Yakta seems to stand behind their products.
I agree, I’m sure Yakta will have a few adjustments to make, but I think they’ll handle them well.
Sweet mower. If Darth Vader had a mower this is what it would look like. 🤣Glad you guys are happy and are having fun together. Life is too short to mow with a crappy mower. Yakta for the win!
Heard a lot of Batman, first time hearing Darth Vader. You’re definitely right
I will say these mowers are built! They are even more impressive in person. I agree, life is too short to mow with a junk mower!
Awesome video can’t wait to see what you got 😊
I will say I don’t know many people with a nicer mower duo than we’ll have!
Man I know you two would go with that one. 👍
It is an awesome mower for sure.
haha what was the tell?
Congrats. It looks like a great machine
Thanks, so far we love it.
Looks nice Heath but you might need to put a governor on it for Rachel 😂
You aren’t kidding, she was off to the races!
Glad to see you both soooo happy with the new mower. I can't wait to see all the other comparison videos. If you can I know yakta does attachments with some of their models. I'd really like to see videos of those. Say the snowblower attachment. If you can. Being a lawn care business owner I love to see new equipment like this and see how it fairs up to everybody else.
Thanks, the Yakta mowers with attachments aren’t available yet but I’d love to run the brush hog etc when they’re available!
@hardworkingmanoutdoors thank you!! I look forward to your comparison videos then.
Looks like a great mower 👍
Thanks Cary, I think it will be!
Congratulations!🎉 I’m glad you got what you liked but I am a little disappointed that you didn’t do a video at the Toro dealer. I was curious to see what you thought of the new MyRide models… Also, no suspension??? Ouch!🤦🏻♂️
Thanks, we checked out some Toro mowers and the MyRide is nice. A little different but nice.
Lucky man there.
I agree!! Thanks.
Deciding on JD S170 sit on vs Toro zero turn kaw 691 motor ?
I personally prefer zero turns!
I’ll take a sample unit here in Hawaii! Mavrick
Nice mower, learn that y-3 point turn though😂
For sure! We have some adjusting to do.
Just fantastic video! 😮
Thank you, we had fun with it.
Congratulations 👍🏼
Thanks guys, still no air conditioning like Larry’s skid steer but still nice.
I want to see one up close in Delaware!!
Check out the Yakta website, they should be able to let you know where you can see them!
Heath you should have been a preacher or school teatcher cause you sure like to talk
I can really get going lol.
Congratulations
Thanks!
Rachel looks good on the mower, ....and a little dangerous 😂 But seriously, be careful on hills.
And yeah, gotta watch those "tanks" on soft turf.
She was definitely having fun out there! We don’t have much for hills on our property but I will go test it out at a friends. Definitely with tops up and seat belt on!
I would like to see more videos with Rachel in them
There’ll be plenty!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors when is your next video I can't wait to see Rachel
Ausumn couple, check out the b8d boys zero turns but make sure you get one that has the serviceable rearends. They have filters which are like car filters but last much longer
Thanks! We just add a Bad Boy Rogue to our arsenal and it is awesome.
Nice work
Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!
I would like a 7,000 or 8,000 zero but that’s over my car’s value. Which one is that.
I bought my truck for $2,500 and my mower for $13k lol. I’d rather have nice equipment than an expensive car but we also put a ton of miles on our cars! You can get a Yakta 410 YXR with the 5 year / 2,000hour warranty for around there. A lot of nice mowers in that price range.
Dang looks like a black corvette! But it's a heavy duty mower,,,,,,wow quality just like Kubota Armand in New York
It is pretty sweet looking!
Yakta needs to have more dealerships in the northeast corridor because they will sell if you can build (dealerships in this area)! C’mon man!!
They are working on growing their dealer network. I think they’ll do very well from everything I’ve seen so far.
I have been running commercial z mowers about 20 years, From the 1st wheel horse, toro and exmark.
Currently I run hustler 28 fuel injection.
My rules are if it's wet I don't cut it, it makes a mess in the yard and if you let that crap stick under the deck it will rust things out like a car up north.
Best advise I can give you is slow down, enjoy the ride, the engine doesn't have to be full throttle if you not cutting 15 mph.
When you're turning there is 0 need to make a perfect circle like a spinning top.
If you're digging up grass with the tires you're doing it wrong.
I run my unit just a little over 1/4 throttle and most times get done way sooner than I waned,.
And my ears are not ringing from listening to the mower Roar.
All these places say they are designed to run wide open,. Fact is I have never blown anything up from "under-reving" or running too slow,. now if the hydro's are chattering or growling or the engine is bogging that's too slow.
My point is if you slow down and find the sweet spot you will love it.
And who can argue with Free.
You are so lucky to have a wife that will help outside,. mine would not and she found a better deal and they hire everything done now.
Thank you for the tips! We definitely don’t plan on mowing full speed, just having some fun right now.
Congrats. I think that does look like it will be a long term machine. What is the reason on the throttle speed to engage the blades though ? Thats interesting.
It has a soft engage pto, guessing that has something to do with it but not positive.
On your previous video you said one of them was about $8500. When I looked it up it was over 10k. What state are you in?
Ed, those were the prices at Michael’s Lawn and Ag in Ohio.
Heath she going trade you in for it lol 😂😂😂
I hope not lol.
Nice!!
Thanks!
What about access to the blades and cleaning the deck? How will you do it safely and does Yakta have recommendations regarding jacking this machine? I bought a Hustler Raptor Flip Up that lifted the deck to almost 90 degrees for unrivaled access. I only used it a few years though. Poor performance.
We will get into all of that in future videos! More to come.
What did you need another new mower for it seemed like you like that one can't wait
Kent, we were already lined up for the other mower when the Yakta opportunity presented itself. We like to keep our word so we did. Plus it will be nice to have two different mowers to compare and mow with!
@@hardworkingmanoutdoors O k so now we're gonna have lawn mower wars rather than splitter wars lol
@@kentcorbett5436 yes sir.
It seems to be a good mower, but I don't understand why you threw your clippings inside instead of throwing them outside, in soft spots or side hills the zero turn is scary. It's good to see an honest demonstration, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ben, we were just out testing it out, we didn’t even finish mowing that day lol. Sometimes making videos takes over. There’ll be more to come for sure!
Not a true test until you run over a few toys. lol
Do t worry, we already completely destroyed a baseball, kids!

Yakta: the Yugo of lawnmowers.
I don’t think so.
One thing I see for an accessory is a sunshade mounted on the rops
Possibly, I wouldn’t mind d some led lights, a weed whip rack, and maybe a few other additions over time.
OMG!!! You guy's are hilarious, that's why I love watching the videos. Heath I have one suggestion, don't be a Tim the tool man Taylor and get it to go faster...lol
lol thanks, we definitely don’t need it any faster!
I used to mow 20 lawns that's a nice looking mower Whats the cut on it
I think it’s going to be a solid mower too. We went with the 61” cut which I think will be perfect for us.
Because it can run at crazy speeds doesn't mean the operator should overdrive the conditions, proper operation and the second pass wouldn't have been necessary. I am more impressed with the machine than the operators. What engine and hydro units does it have?
For sure, we were out having fun seeing what it could do. Definitely not putting on a mowing clinic! This has the Kawasaki evo fuel injected engine and the Hydro Gear zt4400 trans.
She looks good bouncing on the new mower.
She always looks good JB.

You have a point.
Is it US made ?? . Are they built in Australia ?? Or China ?? not much on their web site about that .
I believe parent company is in Australia. As of now I think the mowers are built in Canada with plans to add a plant in Tennessee. However this is all just stuff I’ve heard not positive.
No prices listed on the Yakta website, that is the first thing they can improve.
This is from their reply on another comment:
Main reason we have the request a quote is to help you find the right mower, a dealer in stock, and ensure you always have the contact info of our client care team.
What was your 2nd and 3rd choice mowers?
Well we still have one to debut. But to answer your question our tops were obviously Yakta, Gravely, Ferris, Bad Boy, and Scag. We didn’t get to check out a few that I’m sure would have impressed us like Hustler, Grasshopper, and a few others.

Well when Rachel is pissed at ya, she'll know your "me time" she be done a lot sooner with the speed that thing has. Your honey-do list just got longer 😂😂😂
Very surprised Ball Equipment bought back your old machine without you buying something from them
Beautiful house btw
The owner of Ball said he wanted me to be able to buy my next mower from wherever I chose after my experience there. Thanks on the house we love it.
The mower channel!
A side niche.
Thanks for the video.
You're both turning wrong, that's one reason why you scalped the grass, look up "K" turning at the end of a row.
You see that extra weight, that's what I'm talking about, it translates to problems in wet ground and grass. Engineering is a compromise, I still say it's stronger than it needs to be, other parameters suffer.
Will do, thanks, we haven’t mowed like this before. Just getting into more serious lawn care.
I was thinking you were gunna pick the bad boy brand.
Bad boy does make some awesome mowers as well.
You should have gotten the bad boy
We loved that one too.
Tried and true SPARTAN Mowers
My brother loves his Spartan.
@hardworkingmanoutdoors absolutely love mine 32hp Vanguard oil guard. Mow my 15 acres of WV ruts and hillside (steep) every week 220 hours ( still counting) zero issues in 2 years of owning it this is my second mowing season with it.
That is a nice mower. Don’t put Oregon G6 Gator blades on it. They are noticeably heavier, and will take away more power than lighter, normal blades.
Thank you for the info!
Nice 💰
