- Wasn't expecting this but Blizz released a huge list of class changes and we got a lot of them, even a new talent out of nowhere.

I'm glad they're actually working with spells we already have like expurgation. It's kinda cool to see how they morph some of our abilities from each expansion.

Pretty good changes actually,also i noticed that for the first time you can take both Searing light and Divine arbiter..thats interesting too.
I was really hoping that they would just remove Execution sentence. It's a huge reason why we can't have a hybrid build like most other classes and our ST suffers because of it.
i still hope for ES to get the same rework as symbols of death for sub rogue.

The talents before hand that made final verdict hit 3 targets and big divine storm damage were way cooler. They always do this with the Ret rework even in the initial rework at the start of dragonflight. They always come out with really cool talents and concepts and then a couple builds later, they remove them for something bland and dog shit. Fuck sake Blizzard!!
I myself and it seems other rets also seem to feel down for TWW. Lots of tierlists don' put ret up in a high place as well. Is it the number tuning that is bad ? The hero specs look like something fun to play.So i don't get it. What is your take on it all ?
Tunning is a bit messy in Beta Atm, ret also now has to scale an needs certain stats to do its best thing that you cant fully custumize there, im sure that when everything goes live ret will be in a great place

only thing im happy for in this is damn for fing once we can actually get double horse without losing healing hands or sacrifice like damn was that too much to ask for
only wish if you take crusading strikes it does stack with windfury
Would be a bit broken because our holy power generation would go to the moon with an enh shammy
we need buff on ST, our main problem is a raid spot now that Retri Aura is removed, so they must focus there! not on AOE!
Yeah hopefully they fix Execution Sentence or change it a bit, it has anti synergy with our season 1 tier set
How badly does the loss of the increased melee range talent hurt us? Anyone know if it applies to Jurisdiction, or is it just auto attack talents?
its a bit annoying mostly for our kick range but you get used to it

and this is why i have not brought beta because i know its gonna be last minute changes atleast up until last 2 weeks before release you fall inlove with changes then boom more changes and kills the builds you fall inlove with but id say more than damage its sacrosanct that hurt me because ret in pvp after bubbles can be very squishy so im taking it very personal they messing with our survivability while warlocks get 5 million health shield absorbs and health stones and hunters be healing to full off random abilities while hybrids struggle then right when i feel we have a strong single target build they make us aoe monsters when aoe dont really get the job done for ret its single target especially since we gont got armor pen or mortal strike effects we thrive on burst but they wont even let us have that
I wish they made our single target better, everything is focused on Aoe, I want TV to hit like a truck, any thoughts, thank you for the update ❤
I agree they buff the aoe but nerfing or never touch the ST.. i think they want less ppl play paladin since they never touch or buff oue ST😢
yea my biggest wish is way harder hitting single target we already dont have armor pen or mortal strike so least you can do is let us have burst which they wont even let us have that and survivability as ret is a joke outside bubbles a demon hunter or really anybody run up after that your dead so fast so that sacrosanct nerf hurts i dont give a damn

I challenge you to prove me wrong, I believe the new holy flames talent is dogshit ( you call it strong I urge you to crunch numbers its very week) for AOE and that blade of vengeance is always better into mobs of 10 or less ( rare to be fighting more then 10 elete mobs at once) holy flames spreads expurgation to 4 targets... blade of vengeance already does this + 1 but you get 100k approx etra dmg on 5 targets to boot which you dont get with holy flames. holy flames will boost your DS by 10%, and give flat 3% extra dmg when expergation is on targets. both abils spread expurgation so thats a wash, so it comes down to would you rather get an extra 100k on most mobs when ever you hit BOJ or would you rather get 10% (roughly 10-15K)extra on all you DS plus a piddly 3% dmg on the rest of your abils. this isnt rocket science blade of vengence wins hands down no questions asked all the time, you would need stupid amounts of mobs for holy flames to over take it. not to mention BOJ has a 20yd range and DS only has 8yrds making blade of vengeance aoe dmg more reliable from distance. Prove me wrong.. vanguard of justice was way better in terms of damage and fun and they shouldnt have removed it.
I do agree with what you say but it all comes to number of targets, blade will win most of the time if you play 5+ targets (best pick in almost all m+ situations) while holy flames i think will be better for 4 or less (this talent was made for raids specifically bosses with adds) because it does give you some aoe but also adds to your single target with that 3% flat holy damage taken when the adds are gone, vanguards was a bit more fun though stacking your final veredicts to throw a huge divine storm , but both talents do a similar function
