When the two step verfication is forced and then you can disable it that means the damage is already done. It means that they can link your account to a phone that can link to a person. instead of being anonymous

When we disabled then enable again, should I delete old verfication? Or it's connect with old one

I done it this method but still requires the old number to get the code. It says “Maybe other phone number added to your account but not listed here “
Any other recommendations please ?
OTP will be coming on the registered number, if you don't have that try to use the backup code or authentication app you set up.
I turned off 2FA the same way but it still ask me when sigin on new cellphone and wait signed cellphone confirm and choose a number to continue on new phone.

do you have any idea how i can fix mine, i try to open 2 step verification but its only offering to send a code via text and its using my old lost phone number even though i already change it, i have a few important things stored in the gmail and i don't wanna lost any of it if the time comes

I have only 1 registered 2 step verification number but after i log in account i didn't change anything for example change password , change 2 step verification and all and those number is pop up this is not 1 registered number how i remove this number please help me as soon as possible. When we sign in our google account then Google will send us google prompt and then we have to tap yes or no so we can easily sign in

So is you lose your phone while traveling you're still screwed. This is not about security, it's about google wanting to gather still more information, like the fact that your phone was near your computer. The whole requirement to have a phone is silly. It's like making a product so lousy that the customer needs another product to fix it.
