I'm a Maldives born and living in UK and I cannot express enough how much I despise these scumbags. Literally whenever people ask me my nationality I just tell them I'm British because idiots like these give us a horrendous reputation, not to also mention they scam other Europeans too. This just happened to me 3 hours ago while I was getting a haircut, they started posting Roblox and Fortnite hacks on my other channels that have subscribers on them.
What did you do this just happened to me ?
@@ParadigmFailure Run your antivirus and malwarebytes, scan for any weird programs - delete those programs. (Or just system restore to before you installed a sketchy app. Then go to your saved passwords from your browser and change every password you see on there. They have access to all of them.
@@ParadigmFailure change all your pass and any saved from your browsers too. That's the only way to stop them from coming back in the future.

The loophole in the system is always the final user. The hacker stole one of your sessions through one of your devices (thats why they could acces to your account without even knowing your password, 2fa, etc.). They do this through a virus, and the virus came from a downloaded file that you opened.
How can I fix this what you are describing is exactly what happened to me
@@gabrielambrosiani1343 You need to close session on all devices on all your accounts (even the ones you don't think are compromised), and then change your passwords on all accounts. If you need to recover accounts you will need to get in touch with the support team for each individual account.
Struggling to access the support you need can be extremely frustrating, but don't despair there are experts available who can make a real difference.I got referred to a pro expert who helped me.

its tough, but your going to have to start over. This time be more precautious, set up 2fa, have plenty of recovery options, don't click shady links or download anything sus
Do what you can to recover it and please end sessions with all you're devices

I found this video when I was looking for help. Google assistance pages and recover forms are useless, or at least not designed for this type of incidents. As he does not have similar popularity for leverage as you Joe, I think there is very little chance to get similar support. I am happy for you getting your account back though.

It happened to me, in December. Since then, I’ve been continuously and relentlessly hacked on everything ever, I’ve reported it to all the apps I’ve been trying to use, any and all new emails and profiles I tried to make, would get taken over. Double, triple verifications weren’t helping at all. I was changing three passwords a minute through Dashlane to no avail, before I finally threw my iPhone into the sea. What I lived through over the last couple of months is stranger then fiction.

My friend changed his password , forgot it, and lost his phone number. Now he is locked out, and the account recovery insists on either sending a code to a number he doesn't have access to, or sending a code to the very same account he can't access.

I just had a similar situation, I got an notice that my email and phone were changed, I was able to change my password and then change my recovery info back to the real ones. I also turned on two-step, which was on when this happened. contacted google via a chat window, they were useless and said two-step should keep them out. Yea now I'm really worried GMAIL is not secure as well as all my other google products! checking all my accounts now. ugh wtf
upon reviewing my logs in google I see that the changes were made via my dell laptop which I rarely use, I think there's spyware on there that got them into my google account. No one has access to this laptop. I won't be using google accounts on there until I reload windows.
a simple fix would be to have separate emails for youtube, Gmail, photos account, etc, two-step should be mandatory. Google does not care about us users.
Double notification is not enough. Be sure to get a security key hardware dongle (Yubikey). Many claim that only then no one can break into a gmail account. When you activate it, you will have the option of eight-digit codes that you need to store somewhere. Then only those options unlock the channel. Good luck.

I purchased a new phone of OnePlus to play one of my favourite game Asphalt 9 but this game got hacked even after 2 step verification On... I don't know what to do... So I changed my account but the same thing happened again... Don't know if it is the game problem or the google. I talked with the game developer they said that protect your account. But the 2 step verification is already (On) in my phone gmail.

It was done by someone with access to your wifi. When you connected your phone to the wifi someone was in your network and able to access all your devices having access to your passwords so more than likely is someone you know

I've been changing my passwords to the weirdest ahit I can think of h the security setting shows that I'm the o ly one on my phone. H my history is still showing searches for things I looked at within the last month. I also have 2 step w a code. & my phone #. I think Google should be sued. .y password doesn't show that its been changed or anything. But early when im looking at my history someone is trying to access old passwords, websites etc within an entire 5hr time period.
Yes my phone was stolen 3yrs ago with un unlocked screen so they can see all my google email pics etc. App Info but all my passwords have been changed from what was on that phone to what I have now. There is no way anyone would know my password now. None. I cant even remember it myself & they are still hacking through. It has got to be a new hacking system not needing any password.

Keep in mind that Google employees CAN see and view your stuff if they really wanted to because Google has the decryption keys. Next time, NEVER use phone number as recovery...use another email along with 2FA authenticator app.
