Restoration goals 🤩
No, it's a car. That's football you're thinking of.
R36 restoration begins!
We want M5 content 😢
Need more videos, I run through these videos quickly
@@askor786trust, finishes too quick wanna keep watching 😂
I know it’s not the same but I used to have a B6 R line. I loved it same colour. Always wanted the R36 and that was the family budget friendly option.
Loving the build 👌
Omanyt alloys 👌
I don't know how Hamza does it but you do so much work and still manage to keep the whole video entertaining whilst making it feel like a 5 minute video only. Your content mesmerizes all the time , love it
Thank you for the kind words! Glad you’re enjoying the videos.
yes, thanks for a very clear and easy presentation that covers so much ground. And also never seen such a clean workshop.
From mk5 GTI days on the grass/slabs struggling in the cold wet winters to your own lovely unit/garage. Mashallah ive been watching since 10k subs cant wait to see you hit 1 million subs inshallah
eBay sponsor! well done Hamza, top choice of estate too.. can't wait to see the finished result.
Thank you!
I believe they only came as estate?
@@TheWolf133 saloon aswel
Great work!! I've just bought an R36 estate too so looking forward to more updates. What were the torque figures on the rocker cover bolts?
Pro tip, if you're changing the control arm connection rods, I just ugga dugga the old ones tight until they break, hassle to get loose most of the times so I just bust 'm up lmao
So happy to see this videos.
That's my dream car since it was released. I searched for a year to buy a r36 state and could never find one. Ended up buying the saloon.
Nice 👌 be a tidy motor when finished
The suspension mountings should be tightened up with weight of car on them or the suspension jacked up
When tightening with suspension hanging you risk damaging them when the car is sitting back on the ground
Really enjoyed that video and was shocked when you said you weren't a mechanic, you've got me hooked 👍
Sometimes I miss that M2 you had, og journeys haha
Congrats on the eBay sponsorship bro 🙏🏽 The 200k sub goal will be reached in no time at all, with top quality content like this💪🏽
Thank you for the support as always bro! 🙏🏼
From experience hamza, get that timing chain done asap haha, we got a new engine put in our astra and the timing chain was rattling badly, we drove it for weeks like that luckily nothing happened even though the guide had snapped inside the mechanic found which was causing oil pressure light to come on, when that happened we got it towed to garage, i highly recommend sorting that chain before driving it further boss
Man like hamza, slick to the point knowledgeable & honest. Keep it up buddy 💯
Been watching your channel for years. Love this content as its so fresh. The rarer cars is something different
Hamza could you do a video on your car history from when you first passed to now and what car has been your favorite i think that would be cool
As a BMW guy,I love these so tempted to get one
Have mine over a year now , and its a mental car. Beeing my dream since it came out and now i have one. The sound it makes and the styling its all the little bits together that makes it so cool
Lovely update. A great work ethic TRH...
The worn rubbers on the front are a known Passat B6 issue. People used to put the rubbers of a mk5 GTI on it instead
R36 gonna look 10 10 when finished 👌🏾👌🏾
Love your approach. Straightforward, honest and direct. Keep the content coming.....proper love it 😊
Everything happens slowly mate…You will get there …..Love videos like this…DIY is best
Only just started watching but your delivery of the issues with the car is next level. All that B-roll looks mint💯
doing a great job so far for as a none mechanic but watching the vid doing ok look forward to watching the rest of the other vids mate .
Respect for using good quality parts such as Meyle 🙌🏻
I love the R36 .. beautiful colour n can't wait for more videos on this car...
Great to see that everyone could repair own car at home
R36 love it looking forward to seeing this resto project 👌
Ma sha Allah, beautiful car man can’t wait for u to be top top and get into bigger projects. Too underrated
Didn't know that VW made an R36 estate!
Loving the down to earth, informative way you present & carry out the work.....I'm sure all us amateur mechanics can relate to your learn as you go along approach, tackling each job with a positive, can do attitude.
Keep up the great work & looking forward to the next installment! 👍
Getting the workshop was a great idea to grow the channel. Your videos are top draw bro
Nice project.
I always like the R36.
Great channel.
Good luck.
Interesting vid. My son owned one of those in the same colour for years. Loved it. High mileage isn’t an issue with them. Mechanically they are very under stressed. Keep up the good work👍
Really looking forward to seeing more content on the R36, loved these for years, another great video 👍
Loving the r32 estate first time seeing one.
Looking forward to this mate, she is looking better already. 👍
Wow, hell of a car 😮...you must be the only you tuber who puts penetrating oil on way before starting instead of just a few seconds before attempting to undo anything...if you are pulling the rear frame for repainting/powder coating ....May be worth getting some car dollies in case you need to use car lift while passat is immovable....
Good luck with your restoration👍
I did the PCV not that long ago on my R32 it’s a lot more work one a 32 as u can’t get to the bolts on the inlet without taking the front panel off. Never the less I didn’t think it was to much of a job overall. My rocker cover was the same underneath I used degreaser and wire wool to get it looking new underneath.
I used the RKXtech kit on mine
Get around the TAPASS! Love the VR6
This is great to see, I watched the video u did a few years back when u had all the suspension stuff done on the 4XXbhp GTI at a garage and now ur doing it all on ur own lift!!!
Love it 👌
Don't forget the dogbone and engine mounts - they looked pretty shagged.
I can’t wait to see this thing finished and after a lovely polish
Bring on part 2 👌
Only recently discovered your channel and enjoying the content, for someone who isn’t a mechanic you’re doing a mighty fine job of it mate and that’s coming from someone who’s been doing it for 30+ years!
Good stuff 💪🏻 iconic car
Loving this project, don't think I've seen an R36 project on RUclips until now👌
This restoration is going to crazy can't wait for more content, lots of surport from South Africa brother💪👌💥🔥
EBay collab that’s huge mA 👏🏽
Thank you 🙏🏼 Feels good for sure
You do a brilliant job considering your not a’mechanic 👌👌
Really enjoying this content Hamza, I had a 200k 330d e92 and after spending plenty of time doing coilovers, arms, bushes, exhaust and getting it tuned it was absolutely transformed. Doing it all again on my e36 touring. I also used Meyle HD parts on both builds, top notch parts!
Great idea on dropping the rear subframe to get it powder coated etc. I’m planning on doing the same for my edition 30, I’ve done the same bought all the arms etc but want to get either a new rear subframe or a better condition second hand rear subframe and get it powder coated. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
I just got a VW Passat b6 TDI man I love it I been looking at these as a weekend car and I got to say. I'm tempted looking forward to future videos.
Your looking comfortable using tools now should be proud bro
very great episode thanks!
Wicked car to give a new lease of life, and loving these videos with the new workspace. For an unqualified mechanic your doing a better job than allot of qualified mechs plus it’s giving the channel a kind of new platform. 👌
Need eBay motors like the US… love the r36 just a different build type gotta love it
Just added a subscription - looks like restorations are the format of the day! But so enjoyable, especially on a classic beast like this. Great editing and cadence - really watchable and I’m glad you kept in the tensioner bolt revert on the last video! Nice honesty! Great garage too. Looking forward to the rest of this series!
Looking forward to this one!👍🏼
Very good video well explained keep up good work pal 👏
Underated channel. Good work man! Commenting from Ontario Canada, been following your channel for some time. Looking forward to this restoration!
Watched every single video on this chanel
Great content tr 👌🔥
Thank you 🙌🏼
One of the best Volkswagen's ever made in my humble opinion
Loved your content before; but as an R36 owner/enthusiast totally hooked now mate. Looking forward to a full restoration project on this 👍🏼
Can buy a used car with confidence off this guy.
Content smashing as always bro, production and editing has also raised another level too! Keep it up bro! 500k end of the year more like easy
Thank you as always bro! 🙏🏼
Başarılar Hamza Bey, çok güzel bir video olmuş.
I really enjoyed this. It's great to see someone taking pride and care over things. Looking forward to seeing the end result. Haven't seen many of these on UK roads so it will certainly be unique 👍
Love the R36 restoration . You can do it 😀
Great video and nice too see big sponsors on board too. Keep up the good work💯
See, whenever i try something mechanical i've never done before, half the content would be beeped out. I really like your laid back, go with the flow attitude. Also, r36 passats are pretty cool.
Bushings will wear out if you not set the car on ride height and then fasten the nuts with specific nm. 😊
Bloodclart teamed up with Ebay!! Madness hard work pays off 💯 ❤
Great job look forward to see the rest of this project.
Well done hamza happy Ramadan ! Wagon coming along I ll say maybe lose the chrome on the doors and colour match it , just get a new rocker cover eventually . brilliant effort ❤ thank you for your excellent content ❤getting M539 restoration vibes
The nice things about watching your videos Hamza are the cars you choose to work on is something that the ordinary man can identify with.. Loving the content and the delivery.. they're on point 👌 Keep the videos coming 👏👍
Need more subscribers. Been with you since day dot. Love your builds. Love your growth over the years
Love the fact your doing it all yourself and showing the process ..this car is gonna be class
Love the car and enjoying the R36 content.
I saw first time in my 30 years of life a Passat R36 yesterday here in belgium nearby i live, a white one. This week.
Expensive to maintain, but here you can register stationwagens as a van if you remove the back seat. So the tax and insurance will drop 90% of what you normally pay.
How else can you get insurance to pay and the tax for a 3600cc engine.
Absolutely loving this content TR ! Many thanks what a channel!!
Love the resto project, super fresh, keep it up mate!
Very nice project! I subscribed. Lovin it!
Fantastic video as always, I can't wait to see the final result!
Nice one Hamza your doing a great job can’t wait for more content 👍
Great video bro can't wait for the finished product 🤙
I'm glad you changed that floor colour, the red was giving me a headache.
Looking forward to this build 💪
Nice job. Love the R36.. especially in this awesome blue color
Great video, great description, very clear and easy to understand the process in all the various jobs you have undertaken in making that car spot on. Great recommission video, Thanks, Vinny. :-)
Have you been onto vw to see if they’ve any history stored online?
I've used eBay for years for car parts and tools relating to cars for year's, since 2009! Great place for great deals and top quality tools and parts.i love VAG cars, so Subbed!!
Amazing level of detail whilst also being entertaining to watch. Hope you smash 200k subscribers and looking forward to the next update on this!!! I would never have assumed you weren't a mechanic based on your knowledge.
Nice maintenance work I wish parts were easy to find for vw cars here in the Caribbean 👍👍👍
Did you keep drop the car then tighten the bolts on the arms first or tighten then up whilst car up in air. Just wondering as I'd always believed to drop the car and then tighten to prevent premature wear to bushes
Meyle is banging for after market. I always use meyle for aftermarket. Keep up the good work my bro
Great video 😊 I'm looking forward to seeing the next videos you do a great job 👍👍
R36 is so lit 🔥
Awesome job mate!!! 👏 can't wait to see the future of this R36 being turned around from a neglected work hourse to someone's pride and joy, a prime example of a rare R36 👌
Great video 👍 I'm subscribed now
Looking forward to this one 😊
