As a German body and vehicle builder with completed vocational training and qualifications for Audi Space Frame, I am appalled at what I see. This vehicle will never be safe and you cannot repair this kind of damage properly for $8000.

After many years as a Volkswagen Audi senior tech who has carried out some major rebuilds all in accordance with VW/Audi repair methods the list of things happening in this video that not only go against manufacturers methods but are an insult to them. Bravo yet another death trap to kill some poor unsuspecting person.

It is not the safety of future drivers this fan is talking about. Yes, you have great skills as a body technician, but the repair of this "totaled" car should NOT have been restored. Why? Because of the structural integrity of the frame members have been compromised via welding and bending, and re-straightening. Future reliability is questionable. In many countries resurrecting this vehicle form totaled status would be illegal. But it appears it is OK in your land. Best regards to you and staff.

Der neue Besitzer wird sich tierisch freuen 🤣🤣.
new owner will not know it :)
If you check carefully, you will find obvious signs of repair. Generally, the seller of similar accident cars will explain the situation to the buyer.
Good job
Only without the tools to get the unabody frame work perfectly it the brain becomes your making a peace of repairs awesome job in then it's safe to drive :,
Eyes and lungs will be dead in the future !!!!
Hello, thank you for your reminder. We have received your concerns and we will protect ourselves.
@@xinxianshi Not so, at least still no. Care for your health as a fellow human. Others have made notice, yet you still wear no eye protection when welding, only recently wear eye protection when grinding, and usually no protection when spray painting! Your eyes, your lungs. Won't last long. Hope you take heed.
😮 how is it even possible!!!! Amazing!!!
Bom trabalho de reparo.
Bom trabalho de reparo.
This car should never have been repaired and should only be used for spare parts at a wrecker.
muito top parabens show 💯💯💯
gracias por tu apoyo
letting it burn so, deem hard
Hi, thank you for your compliment.
Yes sir this A-6 had only minor parking lot dings .
Well, you are right in your joke. If you don't check carefully when buying a used car, you will buy a scrap car like this. I hope people who watch this video know how to distinguish accident cars.
Boa reforma,Salvador ba.
It's insane to think of the thousands of people driving death traps without any knowledge
Fascinating to watch, amazing work. May I ask why you used pop rivets instead of welding tte upper wing area?
Would love to see this vehicle used in a crash test, just to show how much of a bad idea it is to put it back on the road.
The repairs are not subject to collision testing. Based on past experience, the repairs do not result in a loss of safety.
@@xinxianshi Here in the UK that would be an instant write-off, I guess the lack of safety laws is very different here.
I can't even get our landscaper to get rid of our crabgrass for the last 3 years and these guys are rebuilding completely wrecked vehicles.
No chance of me getting in that car
Nice job.
Devil his due it does look like he's decent paint slinger.
OSHA, NHTSA, and Stevie Wonder, approve of this video...
😂😂
Thank you, thank you for your support
Bro blink repeatedly while welding 💀💀💀 28:40
Maybe not to get blind. Wearing an appropriate mask some times is too onerous
Yes, this is a welding method that many technicians will use, which can avoid the frequent use of welding glasses. Improve work efficiency
Yes, this intermittent welding is not suitable for glasses, so they use this method to improve work efficiency
If this is a toy or model fix, there is nothing wrong with this restoration. However, can this kind of repair pass the car safety crash test? Can this fix survive from another car accident?
yeah hand rubbing a weld usually makes it stronger, like welding without eye protection makes your eyes stronger
