- In this video, I go to a retention pond to cast net shad to feed my pet bass. I ended up catching six bags of shad and fed one to my fish at the end of this video. Thanks for watching!

The old fish clearly has the whole survival game figured out better than most. It's a good idea to let him keep seeding the new generations.

Caught a cat while literally casting as I walked away to the car. One of the best feelings, especially when you're getting no bites all day. 😂 But it's a good way to lose friends.

These are some of the most benign, harmless, unpretentious videos I have seen here in RUclips. I agree with another viewer below that commented that these videos are "strangely therapeutic." No sure what some individuals therefore find wrong with them so as to merit a "thumbs down." Sadly, that seems to be par for the course with many people today. All I can add is: keep up the nice work, Fish Whisperer. You bring a healthy dose of happiness and peace to many in these dark and turbulent times.

I wish i could net near the river in my town. They got monster fish that my line can't hold. Im talkin 80lb flatheads, big boi carp (i think its carp, they got a similar mouth but they grey and have crimson fins), and 3 foot gar.

@@treastraxisius9467 nah, they're too big to be mullet. Not in length, but in overall weight and girth, ya know? It has a more carp-like body structure, with the small head and a big lump in the majority of its back.

@@enchantedtouch2945 Okay so let me help you point out the logic here. The shad would have still died due to other predators including the gar that was in the same pond with shads. It does not matter which predator eats them, 9/10 times they're going to get eaten. Now before you say, "If the gar was going to eat them, why is the pond still filled with shad?", just because you're at a buffet does not mean you are going to eat every crumb of it in one sitting. You wouldn't complain of someone feeding their dog, dog food with beef in it, why would do the same now?
Spooky Honey so the question now is, should he of saved the shads and let the gar die?
