Chrome Powder on Gel Polish | 2 Different Ways

- Chrome powder is fun but it is messy! In this video, aside from get myself covered in chrome... I will show you 2 different ways that you can use this magical powdery goodness. Spoiler alert, one is over no wipe topcoat and one is over gel polish. The difference is incredible as you can probably see in the thumbnail.

Thank you so much!! I’ve seen everyone saying the top coat needed to be cured 30 seconds before adding the chrome but mine would just not stick. Come to find out I only need to cure about 3-5 seconds 😭. I guess it’s really whatever works for one another

Beautiful design I now keep separate bottles of base coat for sealing in glitter and one for chromes instead of ruining my top coat 🤦🏻♀️ which i have done many times over the years 😂thanks for sharing your mistakes with us all ♥️xxx
Ah the contaminated topcoat. I have a separate one as well but generally forget and contaminate a fresh one regularly 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Courtney! I love your videos. I heard in one of your previous video that you developed an allergy by removing gel with your finger.
Im doing my own nails and it seems I'm developping an allergy too. I think I was not cautious enough of not touching it with my skin.
Im wondering if you are still able to do your own nails with gel polish despite the allergy, and what you did for it to calm down?
👋 hello, Yes I can paint my nails with gel polish, even polygel or builder gel... so long as I don't get it on my skin. Though I was only able to do this after taking some time off to end the flare ups. If I were having a flare up and painted my nails I would suffer. Hope yours is similar!
Tried chrome for the first time. Cannot get the tiny particles off my hands. How do you get your hands clean of all the chrome?

Could use some help ladies , how to you get the chrome off from the matte part of nail??
Once you have topcoated the chrome part that you want to keep, just wipe the entire nail with alcohol. :)

I feel like chrome powder always get more of an iridescent sheen rather than chrome if it's not burnished into black or something very dark, but it also looks good using it as a glitter powder on the inhibition layer, super cute ❤️❤️❤️ Xx
When I was editing the video, I remembered that it always shows up darker over black 🖤 😆😆😆 I get nervous in the moment sometimes when I'm filming and just forget the basics. I could have done the wee hearts and stripes in black, and then chromed them. I have no idea why I didn't. 🙄😅 Ah well. You're right, they look cute anyways xoxo thank you xoxo
