I have no experience with the Cayenne, I would ask the supplier of the GPS adapter to confirm.
Hello, is it necessary to get 991 wire harness to install 992 steering wheel in 997? Thanks
Currently there is no such harness on the market to buy.
Then if it’s not possible to install 991 wire harness in 992 steering wheel.
How would it be possible to make 992 steering wheel work in 997? The multifunction it’s the same for me. I just one airbag, horn and shift paddles.

Physically yes, but the electronics you would have to do some customization. And it also depends if you have a .1 or .2

Currently there are no off the shelf adapters that will work with the 997 and Taycan wheel. You would need to make your own.

@@Carsaddiction thanks! I know that PIWIS is needed for programming, but for the rewiring, is it as simple as changing the connecting harness or is there more work needed? For reference, I have a 997.1 with the old and ugly tiptronic buttons.
@@prashantraju5613 Best to use a 991.2 / Macan Steering Wheel, not a Taycan wheel. To get you started you can view - ruclips.net/video/xenkmqb3Orw/видео.html - In addition to what is in that video you would need the 997.2 clock spring for your 997.1.
Will it fit on a 991?
Yes with some work. The 991 setup is identical to the 997.2 shown in the video.
