I have a 970 Panamera Turbo. what wheel would you recommend for an upgrade? I would like something with some dish. I am talk and have to reach for the wheel more than I would like.
We get the same core needed by your vin so that is retained if part of the ring. Some steering wheels have a motor/damper that vibrates so the core is the same

@@vivid_racing i totally fucked it up, i didnt fully pull out the green tab and pulled the dam clock spring out w the wheel, all the ribbons came out, was able to get everything back on but now the airbag light is on, headed to porsche in morning, not your fault your video is perfect, im an idiot
Considering other wheels similar to this are 3k, this upgrade is reasonably priced 🙌🏼 Plus, you get independent customization with the materials used and styling. Carbon fiber, suede, Alcantara, perforated leather, different hand grip styles, thicker grips, etc..
Do not do this your self you will end up damaging wire ribbon attached to the steering wheel coming from the steering column assembly which this video does not show it for some reason probably oversimplifying for marketing purpose.... watch out you may spend thousands of dollars of labor and steering column parts to undue your attempt and re fix the damage which will not be covered by your warranty

Is the 992 steering wheel the same in all 992's? Gt3 same wheel and fitment as the Taycan?

what if you have a heated steering wheel , you will not get any error message ?
Possibly! Sometimes there is a way to swap the heating components, but that could take a while + more work

Installing the new steering wheel , does it impact the vibration if you have lane change assist or the adaptive cruise control

Reused the bolt and use got it snug tight

You should also not walk to your mailbox if you have this much trouble. If you pulled out your clock spring then YOU messed up.
