Footloose is timeless
Still love the old songs as well. Just bought a copy of his first solo album on vinyl. A classic...
Footloose will always be #1 in that timeline. ❤🎉
What a class act on and off the stage.
Love Kenny Loggins!
A brilliant singer / songwriter ...🤘🤘🎸✌️❤️
✌️♥️
My favorite was the whole side LP song Vahevala -/ pretty awesome
Loggins is THE best ever. Loved him since day one and he always will be number one to me.
Esse sim é um cantor de verdade, Honra o palco que pisa.👏👏👏
I am thrilled he is playing larger venues this year, attracting the attention and praise he has earned.
He was often too overshadowed by others during his hit making days.
@@RocStarr913 Totally agree...his music was moving from genre to genre - he approached super star status, but never got there.
@@workernick2485 Loggins never reached superstar status because he would have had to be more commercial than he was. He once said that the only reason why his solo hits tended to be from movie soundtracks was because the movies called for a more light-hearted and aggressive approach.
@@RocStarr913 He is such an interesting act, I read his book. I think that is an interesting quote you cite and certainly a lot of his top hits were from sound tracks, but other solid hits were not (Whenever I Call You Friend, Heart to Heart, Celebrate Me Home). While some of his stuff was commercial, some very diverse (R&B, tad of country, soft rock) and he certainly did push the envelope at times. His run from L&M to his platinum children's album in 1994 is filled with many hits people don't realize he was involved with. 1997's Unimaginable Life did him in - that marriage to Julia moved him towards new age stuff and turned off a lot of people - his label dropped him before he could complete his next album. From there? legacy act with a lot of great hits. He never made it internationally - that would have brought in a lot of additional money. Check his Billboard hit total vs acts that tour the world like Bryan Adams and he stacks up in many ways.
@@workernick2485 Crazy enough, “Footloose” was Loggins’ only hit in Britain.
Thank you. Mr. Rather you are the man
When he’s not putting forth forged documents to influence a presidential election.
@@richardpowell1772 Treason. Damn shame. Thx 4 the reminder
Kenny 4 Life!
Kenny is a legend. Beside the music , he’s a terrific soul that spreads love. He’s the John Lennon of this millennium 😇
Yeah, he is a good guy...
Blake Shelton did a cover of the song for the remake...and he and Blake Shelton did a duet at the country music awards.
Sittin in
KENNY LOGGINS IS THE MAN GTA HAS NOTHING ON HIM. Even though he looks great still you can see how the government is slowly killing all of us even the man sitting across from him sad.
Cool singer! Who knows, he's married to someone now and if he has children?
Kenny Loggins just retired...so he wont be touring anymore.
How much plastic surgery has he had? I don’t even recognize the guy.
Why some people have a sick fetish over looks is beyond me. Dick, the dude is over 75 and looks, sounds great. Work on your own life.
Who cares he still looks the same he looks great can't believe it bothers u smdh
He’s an elderly man now. Plus, he used to have a full beard for a lot of his career.
His vocal sound is like money in the bank, he was literally unstoppable in the 80s every time he released his next tune.
With songs for movie soundtracks, that was the case. For songs for his own albums, that wasn’t quite so consistent. He had said back during the time of Top Gun was that it was because he’d always take a different, more lighthearted, harder approach with the songs he did for movies because he believed the movies called for that.
Loggins also the greatest Radio DJ even if it was scripted for GTA.
