Thanks Andy's Guitar for sending me here. It was amazing! That drummer is great. He always brings it on time with feeling. The lead is also unbelievable! Never a bad note, incredible riffs. The rest are pros that bring joy with rhythm. A great band to back up Daryl. Wish I lived at his house.

Kenny Loggins was the king of movie soundtracks for a long time. My entire youth was spent appreciating his work. Good times.
The king for a long time.... if he was king of soundtracks... for a long time, wouldn't it be easy to name 10 hit songs? Footloose, okay, it hit the charts... danger zone, top gun, it was there... thats all I can think of. I know he did dongs for Caddyshack and others for Footloose and Top Gun, but they werent big hits. You call him the king, for that?

This performance was worth a million bucks for me as a drummer when I was playing in cover bands, this is the key to making footloose sound and feel right.
Guy does a fantastic job. I still can't seem to get it to lay back just right. The breakdown thing and at the end with the toms - great modification from the original. Definitely using that in our version.

I changed my mind. I am starting to like it despite some cringe-worthy stuff here and there. In fact my own band using this as a template for our cover. I'll be channeling the dude hitting the tambourine to help me with the right tempo.
