I met Kenny L. while I was working behind the desk at the Sheraton-Universal Hotel....waaaay back in the 70's.....If I remember right he was there doing his first solo concert after he and Jim Messina parted ways...Kenny is one of the nicest people I haver ever met.!❤
I just saw him in concert Memorial Day weekend in Atlantic City, NJ. He is very geniune and told some great stories about some of his music. I could seriously listen to him talk all day. It is nice seeing an interview with him!
Thanks Kenny paying it forward, for children every child one voice. My 23 year old sons first concert was Kenny he's now a Fireman, Kenny, Dan Fogelberg and Todd Rindgren been soothing my soul since 70's
I just love you Kenny. What heart you have. I met you many years ago after your concert in Huntington,WV. We sat across from each other, both alone, the only two people in a bar where my roommate was bar tending. I think we were both hurting at the time. I know that I was. My life changed for the better though and from what I understand that yours did too. 💜
Thanks for the great love ❤️ and support you show me as a special fan of mine😍, I hope you won't stop listening to tracks , and thanks for your sincere Compliment and love towards my tracks ❤️may God bless you.
Kenny Loggins is not only the one of the best musician of the 80's but also all the time! Kenny Loggins, Giorgio Moroder, Bill Conti. These are the men in which I trusted with my life every time because they have the dignity and real creativity that one needs to have as a musician..
Only in recent years have I come to know how MANY songs Kenny Loggins wrote and sang ... I'm incredibly impressed with the VARIETY of music he's done. Had I known, I would have searched out a live concert. The concert in the Redwoods is AMAZING! Pooh Corner, I'm Alright, Your Daddy Don't Dance .... so many others!!!!!!!!
Will always be one of my favorite voices ever. Kenny was also very easy on the eyes back in the day as well. I am noticing he had more natural lines on his face in 1992, when he was young and beautiful. WHY people botox their face to no end is beyond me. A genuinely beautiful person, which Kenny seems to be does NOT need plastic surgery and botox!
Always a class act. Lost touch with him after “Keep the Fire” album, but caught him after the release of “Leap of Faith”, a little closer to what he was doing before the soundtracks. On a side note, looks like he’s had some “work” done around his eyes.
Really ?? I feel that he has aged meticulously well . Still the handsome face to my opinion has not changed . I don’t see or notice any tweaking . His cheeks are the same beautiful cheeks that have been there since the beginning . ❤ ❤. I don’t think Kenny has intentions of going under the plastic surgeons scalpel at this time at least I pray not .😂❤❤😊 stay the way you’ve always been Kenny you are as handsome as ever . Love you Kenny .
Kenny did not need plastic surgery I would never have recognized him. I saw him last in Napa at a winery the show was great, the same original Kenny it was around 08 09. Time changes for better or worse.
Kenny please come to Nashville Tn.and do a concert, I would love the opportunity to see you perform in person since I've never had that in my early years, because I've just recently realized the last year and half what a great performer and human being you are..Matter- of- fact I seen James Taylor and Jackson browne in concert about three weeks ago at the Bridgesone arena in Nashville..sweet baby James still has it..
Thanks for the great love ❤️ and support you show me as a special fan of mine😍, I hope you won't stop listening to tracks , and thanks for your sincere Compliment and love towards my tracks ❤️may God bless you.
Harry Chaplin gone too soon 😢- been trying to think of his name while singing his music all morning! But reading Kenny’s last book - and trolling RUclips for his voice and stumbled on this! Thank you 🙏
He looks so different. I guess it's being close to 70. It's so nice when you discover that your projection of someone is dead on. He is a wonderful, genuine, caring person and I'll take that much more pleasure in listening to him and Jimmy and his solo stuff as well.
IDig A. Pony I hate when people try to erase some well-deserved years from their faces. They kinda look like themselves, but then again they don't really. It's like watching an odd impersonator. Living life, we're going to get older. (Unless they'd prefer a young corpse with few wrinkles.)
Face lifts will make you look different when you have too many or pull your skin back too much. Plastic surgeons 40-50 years ago were more subtle and the wind tunnel look was rare - Mae West and especially Peggy Lee.
Fifty years and still going strong. I have a ticket to see his show (rescheduled from last year) in June at Waterbury, CT Class music by today's standard. 🎶🎶🎹🎷🎻🎺🎸🎶🎶
Footloose & Jimmy Page are like Beethoven Quartets where a bundle of energy just IS. And there's just no reason why any sound means anything unless it's already there. The sound reaches on up and becomes Indiana Jones' lieder.
I felt the same way! Being a huge fan of Kenny's and Loggins & Messina since the very beginning...and knowing their history and their extraordinary band in the 70s....I was thinking "I could have done a much better interview!" - LOL.
Kenny Loggins made all his money off 80s movie soundtrack songs, and he was cheesy then in his youth kinda right place right time to make the bucks and he did so with just cause. Can't fault a musician especially at that time for capitalizing on the opportunity right in front of his face. His songs ain't great but his songwriting is solid. Songwriting should always give a voice to the people and in his time he clearly did that. Worst of all is that he did WRITE good songs, and is often an easy target these days for young people to attack as some sort of scapegoat of a bygone era of music. The lyrics are solid, recognize the words people. I mean that. Yeah history will know him as an 80's movie soundtrack musician, but the musicianship and lyrics are good by and large, it's why he got the job in the first place. The 1980s were the first time we saw mega million blockbusters and the first time where a movie soundtrack mattered BEFORE or SINCE. People TODAY will still buy The Breakfast Club soundtrack or The Big Chill soundtrack or the Top Gun soundtrack. No movies today have a soundtrack anyone would buy because physical music in the form of an album no matter what is irrelevant. The man saw a chance and took it, and applied his craft to the situation at hand, and played his own hand well. He's a good musician pay respect where respect is due. And beyond all of THAT he's a really down to earth dude, from what I gather a good man in his own heart, clearly kind not obsessed with his own celebrity who values charity and giving back. Not some giant bullshit celeb of that era like Madonna. God dammit I'm not even a real fan but god bless Kenny Loggins. He's been shit on for far too long. The man has song writing credentials that stand the test of time and I respect that.
ahepperl AMEN. I've been a fan since Loggins & Messina. The man is a solid songwriter and there's nothing wrong with his 80's work. He will always be brilliant.
Loggins and Messina were hitting on all cylinders on Mother Lode. Truly soulful musicians with many varied abilities. Their drummer Merle Bregante was a big influence on my drumming. Jim Messina really produced sophisticated arrangements on that record. Their next record Native Sons was great too. Shoot all their records were good but Mother Lode might be the best.
He aged terribly. What happened to his face? Looks like plastic surgery or something. He was good looking when he was younger. He looks totally different
Gifted voice and beautiful songs🎉
What a truly gifted and great guy!!!! Full deck!
I love this guy, not only for his music , but the humanitarian work too!!! magnificent person... in & out
Simply love Kenny Loggins songs🌸🌸🌸

Still handsome after all these years!

I saw his concert last week near Chicago, fantabulous show and band. He really has aged well and still has one of the greatest voices in the world.

Great interview. It is rare you get an artist to open up and share the way Kenny did. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Kenny paying it forward, for children every child one voice. My 23 year old sons first concert was Kenny he's now a Fireman, Kenny, Dan Fogelberg and Todd Rindgren been soothing my soul since 70's

Gran música
Greetings from Chile
Saw Loggins and Messina in Seattle in 75. Saw Kenny solo in Spokane early 80s. Toto was the opener.
Captain Loggins from GTA 5. Kenny Loggins was a DJ on Los Santos Rock Radio in the video game Grand Theft Auto 5.
JazzFan76 I'm captain loggins and you're on a cruise!

No work done. It's called aging naturally.

I'd love to see him in concert!

I never got a rebellious vibe from "I'm Alright." I always got a "hazy blue morning out on the green at 8 am" vibe from it.
I don't know, but i love him so much muah muah!!!
0:23 he talks about that in Los Santos Rock Radio
Joodge I wish
Finally an explanation!! that's why you can play rock, jazz, country and pop like you cut your teeth on each one solely!
”Life is a wind machine🎶”

Danger zone - top gun 😊👍❤️🇺🇲
Interesting interview, Thanks.

If I had seen only a photo of this man, I never would have guessed he was Kenny Loggins.
The extreme cosmetic surgery pulled his eyes way back. Gone are his beautiful trademark puppydog eyes. :(
His eyes snd mouth look different
Fifty years and still going strong.
I have a ticket to see his show (rescheduled from last year) in June at Waterbury, CT
Class music by today's standard.

Wow such negative comments about her inerview style and his looks really! Great interview great artist.
Footloose & Jimmy Page are like Beethoven Quartets where a bundle of energy just IS. And there's just no reason why any sound means anything unless it's already there. The sound reaches on up and becomes Indiana Jones' lieder.
Perhaps you could remind her of a tribe "Dan".
Logan Keep everything classic in Los Santos
Wow, he must really take care of himself to look 74.
Such a gift - my generation
I still dont understand the drive to modify ur face.
Clearly cosmo. Gotta be proud of age IMHO. Like he needs the money.
pretty intuitive from a Dylan song.. you hit the mark on that song!
Absolute BRUTAL job by CBS. Horrible interview. Great musician.
I agree nothing personal but she was not prepared at all!! Brutal is the perfect word!
I felt the same way! Being a huge fan of Kenny's and Loggins & Messina since the very beginning...and knowing their history and their extraordinary band in the 70s....I was thinking "I could have done a much better interview!" - LOL.
Yeah, but what about those Kenny Rogers eyes?
She said Harry Chapin died in '75. He died in 1980.
It’s Neil Veder
Let's have less outrage and more ... music
Did he made something to his face??
Plastic surgery done on his face.
He made breakfast.
It's morbin time
Los Santos Rock Radio
Holy fuck I thought that was Eddie Vedder in the thumbnail
Klog!
Dj loggins
When did Kenny Loggins start looking like Eddie Vedder?
I'm a huge fan, but this guy does not look like Kenny Loggins. What's the deal?
He had plastic surgery on his face & now looks like this.
Weird for a man
If I had the,$$$$ he has I'd have surgery too!
what about Mike?
"Cradle language."
i wish he'd have foregone the plastic surgery but hey , what do i know ?
Absolutely nothing !

You must have a shitload of free time.
Kenny has stood the test of time saw him in the 80's and early 2000's great shows both time.

Creepy cheek implants.
poor Kenny shes horrible at doing interviews
She sucks. He held her hand. I would be nervous as hell to interview him though.
Terrible interviewer. JFC,find someone who is familiar with the artist. God love Kenny. He oozes coolness.
Holy botox!! What do these people think????
Loved the music very long, but the Botox is just too much. I'll stick with my albums & memories.
This is the most non genuine charity thing
Doesn't even look like Kenny. Yikes
He's older, we know the alternative
Why do women have such a phony arrogance about them. This interviewer is the worst.
He aged terribly. What happened to his face? Looks like plastic surgery or something. He was good looking when he was younger. He looks totally different
We'll see how you look in your late 60's, with or without cosmetic surgery !
