Wallcraft and Project Epoch are the two projects I’m most excited about. Wallcraft is in beta right now and you can play up to level 30.

@@MEYTRIX Not sure about Epoch but Wallcraft beta is online and in a good state to play if you have a group to level with. (There’s no penalty for group leveling up to a 5-man party)

Check my uwu logs I raid bwl weekly and aq event is going on now for that raid super active server highly recommend it. Afterdeth on onyxia Riki uploads our raid logs for public there

Screw Whitemane. I had the max (10) characters all maxed that I played for a couple of months and took a break from wow (Like I often do since I play different games, I've have been playing Warframe a lot since Fb 2024) and I came back to find they delete every thing on your account after you don't login for 180 days.
Screw that, that is some major BS, ChromieCraft, Warmane and pretty much every private server I know of still has my characters from years ago so it's total BS that Whiteman would wipe accounts. They could have added a restore option to their website or something ffs.
I wanted to try out their new wotlk server but I don't trust or respect Whitemane.
Why do they delete max lvl characters wtf…

I play on Turtle WoW Classic Server and it is really fun there
strongly suggest it if you enjoy classic content and as a bonus Alliance have High Elves playable race and Horde have Goblins playabe race and there is a lot of addons and HD Patch too if you prefer modern graphics over Classic

@@mar-xp8il Nope they are doing their own WoW expansion so no TBC WOTLK and etc... It's more like a Vanilla plus/ Season of Discovery
do you have any instruction for playing private server settings?
I've tried Turtle WoW and still have it installed at the moment, I really was having fun with it but there seems to be some sort of issue with the resolution in the game. Apparently it's a well know issue for people using dual or more monitors. My main monitor is 3440x1440, this resolution does not appear in the drop down so it looks scuffed. Only way to fix this is to go into a file, change it manually then restart the PC - a few days of this and it does your head in. Shame as it is definitely a fresh take on classic.
How many years the ppl gonna playing old patches with superblizzlike. Old skills, graphic, engine, ui, etc. OFC warmane top private server, but I dont wanna play around 3.3.5 for years and years
Warmane PVP on Icecrown feel so good if your Gearscore is bellow 5000. Once you reached 5000 you are added in the high gear bracket and you play with donors and there is where you quit the server.
Isn’t that for BGs only?

Eh, its not that bad. Low geared scrubs vs skilled donors. I much prefer the latter. Half of them aren't even donors, some of these people are so insane it's mind-boggling. I saw a goddamn rogue 100 to 0 a full PVP blood dk with over 40k hp without taking a single point of dmg himself. That'd the most memorable one.
dont even touch warmane, i bought stuff there for like 2000$ for the years i played there, i was even one of the few like 3 people who had the legendary daggers and then they suddenly decided to shut down the server where i was playing with 12+ fully geared characters and when i asked for a refund for all my paid gears they told me thats just my fault for playing on a server that they didnt wish to keep

I'm excited to watch this video. I'm always looking for new servers and ways to play games. I just started playing on the Project Ascension server a few days ago. So far I am really enjoying the unique take on classes. One server has "free pick mode" you can select any skills from any class. Mix and pick literally any classes skills with any other! Then they have seasonal servers that are "draft" that starts your character with a random 4 abilities from all class abilities. You can lock any of those four you want to keep and reroll the rest until you have 4 you want. Like Yahtzee lol. Then as you level you can keep and reroll so on and so on. It's really quite cool and different.
It is very refreshing playing on Ascension
I played on ascension for a bit last year and i had ton of fun with the seasonal server, but this year the season seems too complicated to me, but maybe thats just me
Really hard to queue fro dungeons and raids in Free pick that's why I dropped the game unf.
idk why would someone over and over again play fresh Pandaria or Cataclysm, all your progress wiped, gear, mount etc.. i just dont get it.

I can agree for Pandaria even though you keep your season 1 mounts. MoP is a chore to play and the content isn’t good until the last two patches.
@@MEYTRIX They moved the mounts to Mistblade 2.0 and the server with your old characters (Mistblade 1.0) will then merge into one.
I think they will have a chance to be transferred upon the salvage realm after the season end? I played on Warmane and everytime a seasonal fresh ends they have the option to transfer their character to other place like for example in before the characters from Frostmourne Realms have the option to transfer to Icecrown once the season ends.
Warmane seems the best server out there. Been enjoying it for 1 month so far
It has its issues, but it has been one of my favorites consistently for years now

What's the best option at the moment? I'm waiting for the Legion release on Tauri, but I think it's still going to take a while.
I tried Whitemane for a week, gameplay was okay but every player interaction was with a unhelpful troll or general A - hole. I don't recommend.
Ascension is initially good but you soon realize that all this freedom of class doesn't actually add to your capabilities. It is window dressing. The best thing is being able to use any gear and weapon and most gear, as far as I can tell, is not soul-bound at all. Warmane would be really good but the insistence on being purely PVP puts a lot of potential players off. I have tried most of the others. ChromieCraft is probably the best in terms of stability and smoothness but it is too close to vanilla for me, not enough tweaks, and the server population is really low. You can play for hours without hardly seeing anyone.

Warmane PvP only is only on Blackrock tho? Everywhere else is PvE.

Been playing Warmane for about 8-9 years now. Honestly it's the best wotlk server and the population is crazy 24/7.Did a few pauses,one of them was for like a year and my characters still didnt get deleted.
yep, the longterm popularity of Warmane is just unmatched today
I played on Dalaran WoW (WoTLK) for about 4 years and I really enjoyed the high quality of the server. The playerbase is also much nicer compared to Warmane. I liked their progression approach which led you throughout the entire end game content. The server is quite dead now but they are planning to open another realm.
It seems like Duskhaven doesn't really know what the hell they want, isn't it the third time in a short timespawn that they release a new server?
I only know about the OG Duskhaven and now the remake - Reforged, but they have been postponing the launch of it for quite a while now
Cata servers are in a weird place; if you wanna do PvE Athena is still in the first tier (leveling/catch up is quick, esp if on weekends with x6 xp bonus on). For raiding it has been great. The pop isn't huge (and doesn't have to be with cross faction), but I found myself a great late night NA guild and my experience has been fantastic! So for now there IS raiding and talented players, but the PvP is pretty dead. I would STILL recommend this as the PvE server to choose right now. SoD and Mistblade MoP took a lot of people away, but the people who are left are those who don't chase fresh... think about that for a second. Those are the type of people you want to play with so you aren't re-rolling again halfway through the first tier of wherever you landed for something new and shiny. For PvP, Whitemane seems to be the play.

@@nicksenmarchellino6540 , yeah, and right now Whitemane is in the final raiding tier... so not much point to start a toon there to level. Who knows what happens when the next "fresh" comes out, but for now I think Aethena is the best we're going to get.
i play warmane lodaeron(first time ever play wow), yes there are ganikings but not so annoing and people from my faction are very helpful and patient with me. they explain boss mechanics not just kick u out because u are new to the game(there are little exceptions of toxic) but in majority is a very nice comunity on this reawm
that's great to hear! I think it would be more problematic on Icecrown where ppl reach max level faster and so you meet all kinds of ppl there

Warmane is the worst work server they used to be good back when it was molten wow but those days are long gone only good one still around is wow mania
Is there a wow private server with high pop that runs Legion or more new ? I want the new updated graphics in wow that came with Legion, after Legion released the game looked so much better, colors and everything was so much more nice, but I can not find a server that runs legion or more new with over 1500 players on it =( ANY TIPS ?
Also after playing for some months on Project Ascension, it is hard to go back to classes after you have played their classless system, sooo much fun, I just wish they could move a classless system server to the Legion expansion or more new so that I could get those nice updated wow graphics that I want because before Legion wow looks very crap graphics and colorwise :(
I just remembered that Firestorm has a Dragon server with lots of players on it, and they sort out more and more bugs over time, so I will play there now for a bit, game looks so much better and fun with the newer graphics =)
you can play older expansions on newer graphics too, I made videos about it, for post-Legion private servers with high pop - only Firestorm Dragonflight

What do you think is better sticking to Onyxia and waiting for TBC progresssion or playing on Netherwing-Stormforge?
Hard to tell, I haven’t played Onyxia beside the launch day so can’t judge it, neither have I played on Netherwing, maybe someone else would be able to speak from their experience
it's impossible to say. on papper you are better of with onyxia but the whole tbc and vanilla private server world is all fucked up so you can never actually trust onyxia server to actually stay alive. when it comes to TBC and vanilla people have a tendency to abandon servers and just go fresh start over and over and over and over again. few years ago it was so bad that you could only play tbc for about 2-3months before you where forced to abandon your char and start fresh. all just because people keept pumping out new tbc servers and the old ones where just left to die. people said the new servers where better scripted but none ever where because they where all scripted well to begin with and just had a few pointless minor bugs
I played on Nether Wing all the way until 70 for Karazan raid. The levelling experience is alright, but finding dungs is hard. And raiding is pretty crappy too if you’re new since most people always want players with good gear. There is also a lot of bots; and Chinese players so a language barrier will exist. And good luck levelling in PVP zones like Ratchet. You’ll get ganked by 70’s a lot.
To conclude it’s an alright server for TBC Leveling and Dungeons, but you’ll need to grind a lot, and have some patienc, and probably find a good guild, socialise in their discords, and hope to get invited to a couple of raids.
I think your best option is playing a low commitment realm until Duskhaven or another fresh server.

Nothing will ever beat Warmane. Many people talk shit about it, but the truth is, it really is the only professional private server.

My problem with Warmane is always the INTENSE P2W there.
When they released their vanilla server, I was loving it because everyone was starting at square 1. Onyxia was fun but the pay2win and multiboxing is pretty insane.
The only thing I really liked about Warmane was the stable population.

This is about spending it for enormous advantages. I don't mind donating to something I love, but this is getting extreme advantages for doing so. That by itself makes it very different and not really relatable to the argument you're trying to make.
On top of that, this introduced all kinds of issues of course. Especially in PvP, whats the worth of PvP when you can literally buy a full bis pvp char?
Moreover, in PvE it was equally annoying because achievements and gear are next to pointless if you want to estimate someone's actual value. We've had so many raids where some are just absolutely clueless about what to do, yet running around with fully bis gear.

For me, recognition feels way better when you actually worked for it and not just bought your way there.
I don't think any remotely serious PvPer recognizes anyone on Warmane based on their bis gear. That gear is essentially meaningless, BECAUSE you can buy it.
I get much more satisfaction from reaching high on PvP ladders in newer servers, or tackling getting high gearscores before others. If people can buy it I have no idea why there would be any recognition tied to it.
For me this works counteractive to your argument, because now even if I'd PvP enough to GET the gear, people wont know whether I actually got it myself or just bought my way there. Killing any kind of recognition.

Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. I have never made level cap in WoW out of all these years and I've always wanted to experience the full potential of WoW but I always go solo and I get bored because I'm not that great at meeting people but me and a buddy want to go check out a private server and I think we will probably go to Whitemane I want population and things to always be popping so obviously the highest population private server would be the best option. For two new players that don't know the game all that well what realms would you recommend? Guilds? Etc
With Whitemane you only have 1 choice of realm - Maelstrom Cataclysm, but they will be soon launching Frostmourne WotLK and Deathwing Cataclysm realm

People on Onyxia are very friendly , only once I got ganked in Booty Bay , compared to Lordaeron were I was killed at least 50 times each in Stranglethorn and Tanaris and in total hundreds of times to the point I was playing to level only at odd hours and in obscure zones.But yeah they just attack low levels on sight on Warmane Lordaeron , flight masters, bankers etc were dead alot and so on.
That comes with time as more ppl reach max lvl and don’t have much to do anymore

Im surprised Firestorm didn't make it to this list ... They had a killer launch of Dragonflight with the biggest population i have seen in the private server scene and almost everything works and is perfectly scripted ...If you don't mind a few Russians and Latino's here and there , thats server right now is a solid 5
It would be close to my top 5, but I didn’t play on it myself and don’t like the last few expansions as much, but I will definitely be praising Firestorm in my videos especially for its longevity and progression

Usually same story and gameplay, but there’s also some aspects customized and even entire custom servers with totally different class design

Only such is Warmane’s Onyxia right now, other servers can’t rly promise longevity beyond one expansion

Hi, cata classic is coming and after watching a few of your videos i see that you know a lot about cata pvp. I have never really pvped in wow, but in this expansion i wanna go full rbg pvp mode with my bro. Can you recommend a duo combo for rbgs with a healer(me, i thought about rdruid) and the easiest melee for my friend(he's new to wow). We thought that bulky melee and a healer is a good combo, what do you think? :)
r druid is the best healer for BGs, good choice, and for a melee dps - frost DK is very simple to play and really good for BGs

I hate what they did to pvp in mistblade 2 if you’re starting in the last patch and don’t have a clue about numbers don’t mess about with battle fatigue and increase hp in bg’s otherwise healers are unkillable when you’re doing 12-20k per hit but they heal for 50-100k.
it's been a mess every since the start of Mistblade 1 - those numbers were all over the place even then

I always wanted to try one of the unofficial wow servers, but every time I see which one I could join I start to get dizzy with how many there are and I end up not joining any of them xD.

Warmane lordareon is the closest you get to official Blizzlike Wotlk experience - the botting.

Blizzard servers are full of bots these days, so private is looking like a far better option at this point, cause there are some that actually care about how they are ran.

Do you still reccomend whitemane for cata private server or would you say there is a better 1? I want to get into cata again, i like to solo old raids and love to pvp. WOuld love to play mop or wod but i am pretty sure all mop servers are dead and theres no wod which sucks as I loved that expasion the best.

TL;DR - What is the highest population server with NA players on it that is as bug free as possible and NOT classic WoW.
I want a server with a high population that is as bug free as possible. Currently playing on Turtle WoW but honestly I played Vanilla when the game released and as weird as it sounds I like retail over classic. I like the better models, textures, animations, and spell effects. I tried several different private servers but they were all janky and broken with some stuff just flat out missing and some places like Firestorm do it on purpose to sell you items. I was so frustrated I couldn't do old dungeons for transmog I quit. Turtle WoW is by far the most stable and blizzlike server I have ever played. I have yet to run into a bug and I love their custom dungeons. It really does feel like Vanilla+ with their custom areas, quests, and visual upgrades and mods. .....HOWEVER..... I would rather be playing something like WoD or Legion. I would like to play with a high population of North American players. At this point I really don't care too much what version it is (just not classic - OMG F off with the classic is better bs -ITS NOT).
I was going to play on Tauri with MoP even though that is my least favorite expansion but the server seems dead. If I have to do WotBK, and or Cata. I'm just looking for the highest North American population servers that are the most stable. I tried Ascension and its novelty was fun (I made this crazy shockadin that used all the ranged attacks of priest, paladin, and boomkin and the stacked spell effects were off the chart lol) but trying to do end game content was nearly impossible. You have to relinquish your custom build and go to a cookie cutter build and no one wants to heal either. Its a freakn nightmare. I have poured over videos and forums but the only thing that fits my criteria of a good stable server with a high pop count is Turtle WoW. There just HAS to be something out there that is nearly as bug free and has a high pop count. Is it Warmane? I have heard TERRIBLE things about their devs, basically one step above terroristic psychopaths. Like I said would LOVE a Warlords of Draenor or Legion server but those just seem non existant. I tried some BFA and Dragonflight servers and they work but they are buggy as sh!t.
Anyone have any ideas? The private server lists sites never give accurate player count info or quality of life info.
by "Classic" I assume you are referring to Vanilla, and not everything that is Classic on retail - up to Cata...there are no big and well scripted private servers after Cata expansion around and NA community is far smaller than EU on all of them, Warmane WotLK and Whitemane WotLK/Cata are the most populated/best scripted combination of servers right now

I'm still hearing bad stories about Warmane although my pvp days are behind me so it may not be that bad for me. Im really just a casual these days because I have to work and keep a family. So I basically I just do heroics, maybe a pug raid or two and regular BGs every now and then. Just have a really bad taste in my mouth with Firestorm BLOCKING older content in order to sell you transmogs. For example the instances in Shadowlands worked perfectly but as soon as they released Dragonflight those instances no longer worked and if you didnt get the gear during Shadowlands you had to BUY it in their shop. @@John_Conner222 Twinstar is dead, nit recommended unless you wanna play a single player game…there’s always gonna be some bad rep when it comes to such colossal servers with long history like Warmane, it will be harder to catch-up to BiS players, you may get ganked while leveling etc but that’s the price for the server’s longevity

What about the servers? The ping must be unplayable, like servers in US and you sit in EU thats at least 100ms if not more
Most private servers are all EU so if you’re in America - you will probably have some delay

no idea why that is, idk if I ever even tried playing on Warmane's MoP...make sure you verify your login with a link that should be sent to your e-mail upon logging in, but can't think of anything else 😔
Hello, i don't know if you have fixed your problem, but when i tried to play warmane's pandaria it wouldn't let me in either. The way that i fixed it was by changing the realmlist, hope this helps in any way if you still plan to try pandaria over there

Warmane Lorderon, great x1 server.
But for what im playing it is terreble.
I like pvp, and arena are oveloaded with people p2w with bis weapons and gear,
so maybe i should bg to get weapons for my char, NOT Available, WHY because you can buy some even batter online.
So i must play some PVE to get weapons, but WAIT PVE is OP boosted. that you actualy need a gear for the type of that reward you would get from it. Otherwise you would be too weak.
So PVE is a dead grind, that i dont even want to play, but i must play it because i cant buy weapons with honor.
Which is the best for people that just want to play arena?
There’s not many with active arenas - Warmane, Whitemane, maybe Firestorm

Your Warmane characters are only there when you come back after a year or so if you have donated at least once. They clear inactive characters otherwise..
can you provide a source of this information? I never had my characters deleted even if I didn't play for years and didn't donate
i made about 2000$ donations, even had the legendary daggers for my rouge, they still cleared my account

I was thinking on playing horde since in Whitemane web it says there are 52%A. - 48%H. And I also wanted to go for one of the most unpopular race and classes...
But I think that the stats in their web contains 100% of the characters created (Which I'm guessing 90% of them are not being used, or people who left months or years ago.. ofc there are not 107k of humans or 51k of warriors)
so my question is... Is there any way to know the % of classes or races on the server?
Can be players online now... Or classes/races that had reached level 80 that can be enough for me
@@FedeArgentina I don't think there's a way to see that, but for the Horde:Alli ratio, it doesn't rly matter much since all content is crossfaction anyway so you play with everyone on the server no matter what faction they chose

Most are out, so they already have reputation and expectations, it’s just few of the realms that aren’t out yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t predict the outcome quite accurately

Turtle WoW for the best Vanilla experience
They also add new areas, maps, quests, OST that HOLD true to the nature of the vanilla world
It's like a blizzard quality continuation of vanilla.
Tons of players and some quality of life improvements, not much, just enough not to be non vanilla.
Never played classic back in the day , so thought I'd give it a shot ....the leveling was slow, classes was unbalanced, every quest was a grind , mounts was a luxury ..basically everything was slow but apparently the leveling was the game so i kinda went through it , looking forward to the end -game ....The biggest mechanic was like not to stand in front of a damn dragon , or to stand out of a fire or not take agro off the tank but honestly the most biggest challenge for a raid is collecting world buffs and farming consumables ..I guess turtle wow would appeal for older generation people to reminisce on the "good ol days or what ever" and would enjoy socializing with people online like back in the early 2000's ... I personally found it brain numbing ....For me playing wow without Arena or Mythic + is too damn boring .. but hey ! to each their own :]

because these are my best and I don't like Vanilla - old graphics, lack of quality of life features, playstyle, so this is my personal preference, you might like Turtle more than the ones mentioned but it's not my cup of tea

If Whitemane and Stormforge isn’t good enough for you - then don’t play, there’s no better servers for those expansions available atm

Hi guys! I'm a "new" player to wow (in my childhood i didn't got the chance to play, lateri played a little but but never learned the game really well). I noticed that Meytrix said about Warmane that is not really for new players to the game - maybe the Onyxia server which is progressive... What that progressivenes really means ?
It progresses through expansions - from Vanilla (the original version of WoW), through TBC and WotLK, so you get to play through the content as it was released over the years (2004-2008)
