I've come to appreciate when I play Raidraptors, the typical point of no return for Nibiru is Arsenal Falcon, which at least guarantees you'll get an Ultimate Falcon out. If they don't Nibiru immediately, you can force their hand with Ultimate Falcon's effect. Still not a great situation to be in but if you held your Bloom Vulture, you can link your Ultimate Falcon and the token off for Sky Striker Ace Azalea, clear your own board then use Bloom Vulture's effect and figure stuff out from there. The issue with trying to play through Nib is that it leaves you vulnerable to handtraps you could have possibly played around as well. Maybe you have a Nibiru-proof line in hand that doesn't allow you to to try and bait an Ash Blossom for instance.
Yea that’s how I feel a lot of decks aside from snake eyes handle nib. I played unchained a lot in the past and there were lines that played better under nib but lost to imperm and vice versa so you just had to know what the meta decks played and what was more likely to come up and play around that
That's why raidraptor is one of my most played decks now, I even gave up snake eye to play it, It's such a complex deck that rewards the player for making good hand trap calls and good deck building choices, there's been so many times where I've been rewarded by properly forcing out interactions by using my hand perfectly and that's something I love about this silly bird rouge deck
I just run readiness. I can eat a nib for 2 turns, leave the board empty both times, and still make a crazy comeback turn 3 with the protections of readiness.
It felt great to hear you mention traptrix. It was the first deck i got (because of the structure deck) and started playing locals with. I heard everyone complaining about how nibiru, droll and shifter absolutely destroyed their deck but I could always do something to negate (just nibiru) or play through them and still end on a decent board. Playing that deck I learned that with time thief redoer you can even change the amount of monsters on the field to make droplet resolve without effect sometimes and there is even more interactions i learned because of my time with that deck.
I love how Blackwing plays around Nib. In the Simoon combo, 5 summons puts us right before Nib would put 2 synchros in grave to summon Black-Winged Assault Dragon with. So what we do to play around that is we send Chinook, our newest handtrap, to the grave as part of Vata's summon of Black-Winged Dragon, and then revive it with the grave effect of Shamal. We can then use it on Nib itself to negate it, reduce its atk by 700, and more importantly, put Boreastorm in grave, which sets up BWAD.
I’m big ursarctic fan, so I might as well talk about how it deals with nib. The only way to actually play through nib (not prevent it with a negate), is to have access to radiation and/or play a secondary engine that has decent plays on its own. The only time you’ll see an ursa player actually play through nib is if they drew into extenders and/or their secondary engine. The large influx of card advantage can give you the resources necessary to build your board again, although it really depends on what you drew. Issue is, even with a s/t searcher, actually getting to radiation early in the turn is not as common as it needs to be for ursa to consistently play through nib without relying on another engine, while a secondary engine essentially takes radiation’s place as an advantage generator. With baronne gone in the tcg, ursa has a tough time dealing with nib, unfortunately.
Ursarctic players have my respect. One day the prophecy will be fulfilled and Konami will drop som ursarctic support and make the deck tier zero. This will usher in 3000 years of peace

Synchron has a pretty cool to play through Nib with Assault Synchron cause it's grave effect summons back a Synchro by banished itself if a Synchro is Tributed or Banished, which, since they no longer have Baronne, has actually become so much more important for the deck as a whole since the normal line gets 5 summons at minimum to just get Tuners on board. S:P, despite it being generic, at least allows some control/mid-range decks to play around Nib in a unique way since it has to banish BOTH targets and usually, if you made it going first, you have to banish a key combo piece or even boss monster with it just to keep going. My favorite however is Ghoti with Snopios. With each of the Level 2s (besides Zep) summoning themselves in Standby the turn after they're banished, Snopios banishing them from Hand or Grave as Cost, and if you summoned Snopios before 5 summons, you usually target Snopios itself to banish itself when it leaves the field, then it'll banish another fish from grave to come back as an interruption during the opponent's next turn. Ghoti's a very fun deck that has some really cool and unique interactions and its main game plan being to set up to play during the opponent's turn without using/needing generic negates makes it so fun to play.

these decks do that but a top player doesn't see branded and ritual beast they see floodgates. ash blossom, veiler, imperm all destroy decks under tier who cares about nibiru your never getting to 5 summons.
In my testing i have to say that memento (even without fiendsmith) play through nibiru very easily by making s:p at the end of their combo, i even look up all possibilitys of nib before the summon of sp and none of them do that much
As much as I despise each and every one of these decks, *e s p e c i a l l y* Traptrix, he does have a point. Most decks do not reward the player for playing cards. Half of them have gimmicks which are either hard to manage, or too many to count on one hand, making it hard to enjoy playing the deck. It is quite nice to play a card, from an archetype, that does not punish you for playing it, rather it builds on top of the gimmick it has made its own. A +1 you could say.
everybody will hate me for saying it but mathmech has an in-archetype negate in less than 5 summons, its not super skilled but if u dont have extenders you would have to relinquish the negate to link climb into whatever mathmech is climbing nowadays
I don’t mind in archetype negates, I hate generic boss monsters. So this counts. In our discord format we put circular back to 1 so the combos are doable still

Agreed, it pissed me off seeing how expensive the solos were. Should be in the next ots if Konami gets their head out of their butts. & that’s why I hate the fiend pile, gets unchained cards unnecessary hate
I’m going against the grain, I like how pure snake-eyes plays through nibiru. Using fieldspell to spell trap flameburg is crazy. I wish it was still just ending on amblowhale with princess in grave.
My favorite deck design is magical musketeer. The way you build your deck it'll determine which turn you'll play and it has a lot of variety. The runick variant is so satisfying to draw 5 while being able to handtrap with both halves of the deck. The fiendsmith version can produce some fun boards and there's diversity since there's a lot of options. My favorite right now is blind second utilizing triple tactics to search any cards to steal, board wipes, and link into the vrains. I had someone had their mind crush realizing I had an uninterruptible 4 card searcher or the ability to complete swarm the field while breaking the board. Its too much fun.
15:33 (Assuming you did the standard BraFu combo that starts with albaz+Lubellion make Albion) Something cool you can do is you go quem with the Dusk Dragon, mill an albaz with quem, use the mirrorjade banish to mill Rindbrum, actually, then, on your opponent’s turn, you can banish rindbrum to summon back the albaz, discard, super poly with nib to make another Albion, and combo off from there! The spell/trap you get from Albion gy effect will also help!

That’s wild, but I love it, branded best deck 😎
Granguignol and Cartesian are low key mvps of the deck
They crazy good indeed
I have played illusion chimera since it came out, it can play under nibiru and over the nibiru, even if it resolves and destroy everything, you can use the nibiru token next turn as fusion fodder and the quimeras can return a banished monster and a graveyard monster
Yeah i feel like its kinda hard to over extend for nib to be meaningful yo hurt the deck
Chimera fusion + nib token guu
these decks do that but a top player doesn't see branded and ritual beast they see floodgates.
ash blossom, veiler, imperm all destroy decks under tier who cares about nibiru your never getting to 5 summons.
Technically, Paleozoics can play through Nib simply by not caring about the giant rock. Survive extinction, bay bay!
🤣 overcome, improvise, adapt
0:00 to 22:41 Best moment of all the video. Better clip that
😂
I appreciate that 💪🏼😎
In my testing i have to say that memento (even without fiendsmith) play through nibiru very easily by making s:p at the end of their combo, i even look up all possibilitys of nib before the summon of sp and none of them do that much
That’s kinda how rescue ace plays through nib too. SP is the mvp for certain decks

😂
This is so unnecessary, but I love it 😂
I really like the design of Ritual Beast… It’s a shame that shifter and Protos completely ruin the experience of playing against it 💀
10000%
Any deck with banish in its text just spams shifter
And the stupid nemeses monsters should never have been printed.
I just summon Puzzlomino, then summon Infernoid Devyaty to his zone and make her level 1.
#broken
That way you can make both negates. That’s the guu
Glad you understood the point I was trying to make 😎
Is that a YGO game music or from Wild Arms 2?
I think it's from Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist of the Roses
It’s from forbidden memories
@@TheDuelingBeard I figured as much sounds like the shop music or something. Got a nostalgic blast from 2002.
everybody will hate me for saying it but mathmech has an in-archetype negate in less than 5 summons, its not super skilled but if u dont have extenders you would have to relinquish the negate to link climb into whatever mathmech is climbing nowadays
oh wait this is tcg not master duel, oh well
I don’t mind in archetype negates, I hate generic boss monsters. So this counts. In our discord format we put circular back to 1 so the combos are doable still
We need a top Earth deck that might actually use the token as material...like: You nibbed me, then Thank You, you just helped me!!! LOL ❤
Haha I think Konami will make this in the future for sure
Definitely could have just kept that last sentence as the preview instead of a whole minute tbh 😅
Fair point, I appreciate the feedback
I want to play Melodious so bad but I'm not paying 60€+ for a playset of 1st Movement Solo 😭😭😭
Please reprint it as a common in the tins 😭😭😭
I love playing pure Unchained but people who play against Yubel and Fiendsmith Engine decks keep bitching about Yama or Sharvara or both and want them banned because "Nobody plays pure Unchained, it's only good for a engine" 😭
Yea if it didn’t have apo it would probably be more appreciated
Hi!
Couldnt find the link to discord and the banlist :(
Thank you for pointing that out, seems I forgot to link it! It’s fixed now 😎
Would we consider predaplants to be non brain dead? I find it fun to to have to set up my board to fuse with your stuff because communism lol.
😂
I feel like predaplants are pretty based, that level 5 fusion is insane
Muskets are based!

(Assuming you did the standard BraFu combo that starts with albaz+Lubellion make Albion)
Something cool you can do is you go quem with the Dusk Dragon, mill an albaz with quem, use the mirrorjade banish to mill Rindbrum, actually, then, on your opponent’s turn, you can banish rindbrum to summon back the albaz, discard, super poly with nib to make another Albion, and combo off from there! The spell/trap you get from Albion gy effect will also help!
(Quem will also bring back mirrorjade as a bonus)
(You can also use and DARK/LIGHT monster your opponent controls if you choose to use the board wipe)
Exactly! This is what I’m saying, make decks with skill expression and not the standard cookie cutter make apo before nib can hurt you crap
bro it took almost like 8 minutes to start talking about the actual decks ... i like the premise of the video but too much fluff in the beginning
That’s fair, we will improve 💪🏼

1 melodios a lock deck
2 branded a lock deck
3 ritual beast a shifter deck
4 unchained floaters R us
4 flavors of bullcrap
1 Melodious lock is a mediocre lock, doesn’t stop you from playing.
2 Branded lock is super unhealthy but I don’t play it and it’ll be banned soon
3 Shifter will be banned soon
4 this was a reach, every deck has to do something and floating is super healthy.
These decks are still inherently awesomely designed, Konami just refuses to address 2 issues stopping these decks from being ideal design
ban protos, shifter, albion and your complaints go away
Love Traptrix playstyle, still wont play it cuz its loli bait 😭 #notlikeus
That’s the boat I’m in, that play style with different artwork would be my main
Paleo is fun
Coming from a guy Named Traplover6357.
uhh Traptrix ooooo 💢💢💢😭😭
Video starts at 22:40.
😂
I disagree with some of these deck choices, ngl.
Also, I think this video reinforces the idea that Nibiru should be banned.
What do you disagree about?
Also nib is a necessary evil since it keeps degen stuff at bay

But when does it end though
