10 Min DUMBBELL LEG WORKOUT at Home | Quad Focused

  • 10 minute quad burner leg workout with dumbbells! Simply warm up, grab your dumbbells and let’s hit those quads!
    It is only 10 minutes so go as low as you can in the squats, whilst keeping chest and chin up!
    I do love a good intense thigh session! Try to make each set as good as possible within this quad workout.
    The dumbbells I am using are 10kg each (approx 22lbs each) for your reference.
    This is a No Repeat leg workout. The timer will be on for 40 seconds per exercise, 20 seconds rest!
    HIGH SQUAT
    1/2 REP SQUATS
    CLOSE STANCE SQUATS
    1/2 REP CLOSE STANCE SQUATS
    CURTSEY LUNGES
    CURTSEY LUNGES
    LUNGE
    LUNGE
    ALTERNATING FORWARD LUNGES
    SQUAT WALK
    Plank challenge at end is 4 minutes!
    The 1/2 rep squats basically mean don’t stand fully at top so to maintain tension on the quads!
    As always ensure you spend at least 5 minutes warming up your body prior to beginning this quads workout or any workout in general.

      Thats amazing, i think my max was 3:30 but that was a while ago lol. I definitely need to do a better job at keeping up with workouts during sports season

      I recommend doing them a few times. I do her larger videos but for people starting out. Do one weighted to build up strength and follow it with weightless ones to get some endurance and consistency. Also use it to practice form after struggling weighted for 10 mins.

    1 year training with you i came back to this one my first video I did with you after epic heat week nine quad and calfs did it with 15lbs and the whole plank challenge,as oppose to the first time doing it with bodyweight and 1min plank thank you caroline ❤

    YES, tomorrow is leg day!!! Love your short workouts! They allows me to curate my own workout routine. If I’m in a pinch, then I could still feel the burn with just one of your short workout; if I have more time, then I would complete multiple of short workouts together! PERFECT! 💯

    Hi Caroline...it is nice to have a shorter workout after two 1 hour ones at the weekend!! I really enjoy the mix of longer and shorter routines. Yesterday I did your 15 min shoulders and this one today which like all your content is excellent! Really rainy here this morning...a good day for indoor exercise...I had thought of a run but will leave it for tomorrow!! Happy Tuesday! Matthew

    Great workout!
    First I didn't feel like doing legs today. I tricked my mind by saying it's only 10 minutes. That doesn't mean I didn't go full force.
    10 minutes of pushing hard. My quads are still shaking.
    Plank 4 minutes was extremely tough today.
    What's up for tomorrow, Caroline? Was thinking about doing chest/triceps tonight.

    It's 9pm at night, after a long day... was going to veg on the couch, but saw this leg workout was only10 minutes so decided to do. Feel so much better. Thank you Caroline for providing shorter w/o's. A great option especially during the work week!

    I have been doing your upper body workouts for a few weeks now. I tried this video to see if I could do it and start working on lower body... WOW! Quit halfway hahaha as my legs were dead!! Will try again in a few days.

      @@royster_lll9412 i’ve been doing this for like 2 weeks now and i can feel my quads getting firmer but i haven’t notice them get bigger, but you gotta remember it takes a lot of time for muscle to actually start growing

    I almost didn't do this, because I am a bit intimidated by your videos lol and thought maybe I should do them later, when I'm more advanced. I have a silly habit of comparing myself to other people, forgetting that I have only been working out again for months. I loved it. When I first started working out, I couldn't use weights for squats and lunges, then could use 5 lbs, now 10 lbs. It may not be much to some, but to me, it's a lot and it feels great to see progress being made. Thank you for a great video, and I will now be trying other videos of yours :) Happy Thanksgiving

    I wanted to say that I really enjoy your workouts and I do one or more of your videos every day. ♥️ My body has changed and I see progess that I did'nt see before while doing other RUclipsr workouts.
    At home I only have a mat and the long resistance band, so I wanted to ask you if you could make some videos on each body part (like chest/triceps, glute, biceps/back..) only using the long resistance band. 😍😯

    @caroline it’s not about quantity it Quality! This 15 mins had me sweating and I struggle towards the end.     That was another short burnout workout Caroline! Wowzers! The plank today was hard we did your 1 Hour Dynamic & Iso workout this morning so shoulders were fried from all those planks! The hubby held it without shifting though!! I had to shift. 😌

      Hello Ruby! I definitely will soon but me personally I don’t have a routine other than HIIT every Sunday and full body 1 hour Friday!! Obviously I ensure rotation through rest of week but really just how I feel! Have fun! 👊🏼💓

    Hi Caroline! I just found you and have been binge-watching your videos for the last hour. Your content is fantastic! Super useful, to the point, without the usual blabla to artificially lengthen watch time or sell stuff. Thank you so much for this! One question: do you have workout schedules where you link to your videos in a way that makes sense for different purposes? E.g. one for HIIT workouts, one schedule for those who only want to build strength because they can't or don't want to do HIIT? That would be super helpful!

      Hi Nathalie...I am sue that Caroline will reply to you herself...but if you look on the Community Tab on her home page and scroll down you will find a post where she gives some suggestions for weekly workout plans. These are for different body parts on different days and with different numbers of rest days. She also has a number of extensive playlists so if you use these you should be able to sort out a plan that works for you. I fully agree with all the positive things that you say. You will see that there are many of us here who just love her workouts and everything that she does. Have fun with your exercise!! Matthew

      @@nathalie1343 Hi Nathalie, I think different versions of the RUclips App show her "Community" Tab whereas some don't (this is an issue that RUclips say they are "working on"). It is available on the newest phone version or on a lap top computer, but for some reason the "Community" Tab isn't available (I think) on the i-Pad App. If you have the App on your phone try updating to the newest version and then see if you can see the "Community" Tab on her RUclips home page...just click on her name next to her picture at the top of this page to get there.     You are very mindful of the details in setting up the videoas you explain it. This is a very practical way of training the the quads and lrgs using dumbbells. You stimulate the workout by doing various exercises with a pair of dumbbells. I hink these are great ideas for leg training. The routints are working. You have perfectly developed legs. The plank is testing your endurance.

    Added this to the end of my quad and ab epic workout and during the plank my forearms were slipping all over my mat from my sweat! I had to switch to a high plank to keep from readjusting every 20 seconds! 🤣

    I did do this yesterday - I careful due to a bad knee, but need to do this! Love you leg workouts! Amazing! 🔥🔥🥵🥵

    I did this with 25 lbs…I don’t know what I was thinking! That was tough. But I figured only 10 minutes I could do it and I did! On to the next video in her playlist : 20 minute tricep workout. I’m ready!

    This was a great workout. I tried the plank challenge and had to put my knees down a few times, but I plan to do it again and again until I can hold it without a occasional knee tap. Thank you for the butt kicking.
