15 Min LEG WORKOUT WITH DUMBBELLS | at Home Dumbbell Leg Workout

  • This at home leg workout with dumbbells is just over 15 minutes in total and will totally work your entire lower body! Your quads, hamstrings, glutes and core will be tested!
    Each exercise is performed for 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest for 3 sets before we move onto the next. There are 5 exercises plus burnout sumo deadlift squats at the end!
    For your reference, I am using 1 x 25kg dumbbells, so you can use 1 dumbbell or 2 of course to increase weight depending on what you may have at home. If you have access to only lighter weights than you may like, simply do more reps per 40 seconds! And even don’t bring hips fully in at top of squats😉, this will definitely intensify it!!
    Keep shoulder blades together entire time and chest open.
    Even though this is a dumbbell leg workout as demonstrated, you can use kettlebells or filled water bottles!
    I have elevated my heels for the high squats, however this is optional. It will simply require more from your quads!
    HIGH SQUATS (heels elevation optional!)
    SUMO SQUATS
    PLIÉ SQUATS
    SUMO DEADLIFT SQUAT
    ROMANIAN DEADLIFT
    To finish:
    40 seconds burn out - Sumo deadlift squat with no hips in at top of movement! Drop to bodyweight when you can’t do any more!
    I hope you get you listen to your body, stop when you need to, drop the weight if needed, keep good back throughout and get your sweat on!

    THANK YOU for not putting lunges in this. They cramp me without fail no matter how much I warm up and it feels like all leg workouts have them. It's nice to know I can work all of my lower body without them.

      Ohhh I am so glad I saw this comment! Has me more excited for this workout. Lunges just hurt my knees like crazy. I don't know what it is, but I try my best, but my knees hate them.

    I did this one for the first time tonight. Loved it despite it only being 15 mins, it certainly got my heart rate up! I used it as a finisher to another workout. Will definitely do this one again. The size of your dumbbell too Caroline! Its mooosive!

    I joined Caroline last Summer. I added this workout today as an add on after Iron day 8 (glutes and hamstrings). It was amazing. Caroline, you have done so much for us. Thank you! I use my 45LB bar, added 25 and 10lb plates to make a landmine! I don’t know why it took me this long to utilize my bar this way.

    Caroline, I am at least twice + your age, but you truly motivate me to workout, besides, I believe it is never too late to make good muscles. July 18, 2020 P.S. today is my birthday and I am going to give to myself a year of working out at least 5 times a week. Happy I took this decision.

    Holy moly. I've been consistently running and doing dumbells/resistance bands for about a year, but I've never really done squats before.
    Did this yesterday with just a 20 lb dumbell, and today I am SORE in parts of my legs I've never been sore before. Your workouts are amazing!

    Another absolutely phenomenal workout. This didn't feel overly challenging while at it, despite my heart rate climbing - but now that it's all over I really feel it! I pick a different video of yours 3 or 4 days a week. I've never felt this strong, and I've never enjoyed workouts this much.

    I used this workout as a finisher after Epic Heat Day 31Lower body Complexes. I used 30 for 1st excercises and 35lbs for the rest. Great variety to hit all the major muscles in the legs.

    ✅8/18 - Hubby's and my weekly legs routine! Short and short to the point. Used 40lb DB for the deadlift! 💥
    ✅8/11 - Hubby and I both completed this workout at separate times! 😆 I held on to my 30 lbs dumbbells at the sumo squat burnout and it felt amazing. Hopefully next week I'll be able to do at least one of the rounds with my 40 lbs DB! Thank you for making us stronger!!!
    ✅8/6 - Back for more burn! 🔥
    ✅7/29 - I did half of the sumo squat pulses with my DB and dropped it as soon as I looked at the screen. 😅 Thank you, Caroline! One more short video for more burn.
    ✅7/14(Q) - Thank you, Caroline! I’m using your weekly split recommendation to create a workout regimen for my husband using your workouts! 🙌🙌🙌 He completed this today.

    Did this workout today and it felt like I worked out for 44mins🤯 awsome!! Compact and Straight to the point. Iv started lifting heavier because or your workouts and I can already see and feel some changes in my muscle👏 growth.     I did this leg workout this morning and let me just say, this is cardio too! I started with your 5 min warm up and then I did this workout. I was breathing heavy and sweating by the end.     did this as a little addition to glutes bodyweight. i like that there is no timer for the complete workout, which would let me tend to look at the watch the whole time, but this way you can concentrate on the moment while little cues like "half way" are totally enough to motivate and orientate

    Treadmill this morning , then realised this little leg set had been added. So just added to the to do list. Nice burn and I think even a little tension on the arms holding the 25kg DB. Can't believe we're back to Sunday HIIT already. Thanks Caroline... Have a great weekend 👍

    Loved the workout. I think I struggle doing the Romanian deadline properly tho..I dont really feel it. What is proper technique? Bent knees...push butt back...lift with legs not arms?

    I literally could only make it half way before my legs actually couldn't stop shaking and buckling. I hope to finish this video all at once some day. Obviously I'll keep trying until I succeed

    I combined this workout together with the abb workout you posted yesterday.
    Done these after the abs and that PLANK..
    🥵🥵🥵 BURNING ALL THE WAY!!! And my weights aren't near the 25kg you were using. 🥵🥵💪💪🔥🔥

    36 weeks pregnant and just done this with 16kg! Yes I’m addicted to CG workout even in carrying a 2.5kg ball constantly
