This certainly got me to ditch the back button focus. I used your camset file and went to take a shot and was "woah, what the heck is this?!" ... Love it. I don't know how I missed recall custom hold on my a7iii.
M1-M4 memories are saved to a memory card. If you format the card the memories are deleted. They are loaded from the menus on the A7IV but can be loaded on other Alphas by turning the dial to 1, 2 or 3 and then choosing from M1 to M4.

Thanks for a great video. Just a quick question: I'd like the option to quickly turn/toggle my image review off and on, but I can't get my "Auto Review" setting to be registered in the memory bank of my A7iv. Along with my other settings I'd like memory bank 1 to record "auto review" as "off", while having it as "on" under memory bank 2. Is that possible?
By memory bank I am going to assume you mean My Menu. There are not separate options for Auto review On and Auto review Off - just one menu for enabling and disabling the feature. Hello Mark Do you know if it's possible to not record some settings for memory recall ? I shoot videos with manual white balance adjusted on each scene and i'd like it to be blocked when i use memory recall 1, 2 and 3 in order to change quickly frame rates and shutter speed. Thank you and best regards from France !
I know this is off topic but I would realy like to know before I plunge for an A1. Q. Can the A1 do pixels grouping , ie still use all the pixels but simulate a lower resolutions ?
Used your "A" settings and works perfectly when assigned to 2. Then tried to import these settings to custom hold and assign to custom button. Min SS does not appear to be saved, it's always a lot longer... not at all sure where my mistake lies...?
Min SS is not one of the 11 options so you either Import the current settings or use Shutter priority instead. If you import the current settings the minimum SS can become a fixed shutter speed setting so less useful.

@@AlphaCreativeSkills Really appreciate your reply! I imported all settings (akin to your "A" program} , but as indicated, shutter speed doesn't react as in the full settings. Tends to be a lot slower. My work-around is a shutter priority set-up. Looks like I am not missing anything then, seems this is a software limitation!

Extremely helpful, the interface is very unintuitive without this.
Thank’s for the positive feedback
What about the M1 to M4 presets? How do I load one of those quick like turning a dial?

can you save and then recall customized buttons setting after reset

All this is possible but Custom White balances are not possible with memory Recall

You can shoot in APS-C Mode to reduce the resolution from 50 to 21 megapixels
@@AlphaCreativeSkills yes I understand that but it's not quite the same .
Hello, great tips! :) Is there any way to skip the first screen after memory mode change? It is kinda lagging for workflow.
The A7IV skips the first screen by default so I would expect some other cameras could skip after firmware updates in 2022
@@AlphaCreativeSkills wow, no one before tells that. It is small improvement, but speed up work! Thank you for point that out. 😊

@@AlphaCreativeSkills Thank you. I'll check this out!
Not possible to set manual whitebalance in memory recall, it's a real pain
literally just found this out for myself. wtf? that makes no sense at all
Exactly what I was looking for! Whether min SS is saved in custom hold settings. ruclips.net/video/o5ZdGZPhrXs/видео.html
