agree on the lower end, luxury brand. My BMW 2 series, makes as much as most 3, 4, and 5 series. Enough that a copy cat in my market recently saw mine doing well, and bought two 2021's to list. I got a great deal on it before the great used car shortage started, and the blue book on my 2 continues to rise. It's bluebook is $2-3k higher now than it was at the beginning of the year. One of Turo's listed highest ROI cars, is also the BMW Z4, which used to be able to be found, used, sub $20k. I got mine for around that, and it's my most consistent performer. After 10 years of owning BMW's, I find them to be tanks. High cost parts, but break down relatively little. Replace the ignition coils on anything around 10 years old, and you're set.
I’m in Jacksonville, FL I tested my 2021 Jeep Wrangler out and made $1000 with 3 trips and one of those was a same day trip. Looking to purchase a car now!
If you are going to rent a Tesla on Turo, (Host or Guest) the host should know the product and be able to support it. Driving an EV is a totally different experience, and if the host can give the guest an excellent experience, including recommendations while they are on their trip, they will enjoy the trip more. If your host doesn't drive electric, that's a dead giveaway that they won't be able to answer a guest's questions. I read a comment in here about guest's driving the car down to zero %. Tell the guest why they shouldn't drive down to below 20%. In a Tesla there are multiple reasons why they shouldn't and even when it's not too big an issue. But again, host without knowledge of the product will result in issues. Also I don't rent short term trips. Minimum 5 days right now for me. Maybe that's less revenue, but the hour plus it takes to wash the car isn't worth my time on a day or two rental when factoring in depreciation that comes from guest's driving the car. I'm only 3 trips in on Turo with my Red Tesla Model 3 SR+ with FSD, and I'm also doing it to share the experience on RUclips, but I'm all electric, all the time. Cheap $8k cars like Corolla and Elantra. They rent for $40 and average 15days of rental. After 30% Turo fee you’re making $420 a month. If you buy BMW’s for CPO. 2018~2019 models. 5series goes for 30k and x4,x5 goes for 35k they easily rented out for $150 a day in my area. Average 15days of rental after 30% Turo fee you’re making $1575 a month. Just do a simple math. You’re making about same revenue per investment. Why do you want to stress yourself 4x times for checking in and out , maintenance and such. Also not everyone has endless parking spaces. Ppl will say “but BMW’s cost more to maintain.” Yes that’s why you buy CPO. Most parts are still under warranty. Normal routine like oil change and tire costs more indeed but maintaining 4 cars costs more. Also cheap old cars has random parts that breakdown Also Tesla’s are good choice if you get used model s and model x since there’s way too many Model 3’s out there and there’s ppl who just trying to make their monthly payment on the car so they lowball their price. For example there’s one lady renting out her model 3 for $70 in my area. $70 for $40k car? That’s really no brain. For $40k, you can buy 2016~2017 model s which can be easily rented out for $140~160 a day. Used Model X price is around 50~55k but they goes for $180~$220 a day. Also I love longer term financing. Prefer 72mo minimum and better if 84mo. Why? I usually make 2.5~3x of monthly payment on my Turo rental cars. At that rate I can pay off my car within 20~22month. Also there is a chance for total loss and that’s when gap insurance kicks in. For example, I bought CPO 2017 bmw 540i in November 2019 for 33k (tax title included) and sold it on april 2021 for 29k ( yes I was lucky with current used car price) I owned that car for 17 month. $4750 for 17mo and $1530 for insurance and $830 for maintenance. Total cost of ownership over 17month : $7110 I made $26450 from renting, $4300 from reimbursement (over mileage and smoking etc) and $2640 from claims. Total earning : $33390 So $33390 - $7110 = $26280 over 17 month. 1 car made me $1500 a month net profit. I only own 5 cars because i have full time job as a engineer and I only have parking spaces for 5.
How did you manage with the turn over while working a 9-5 job? Like exchange of keys? Pick up/drop offs? Did they come to your house for pick? Also, did turo take 30% or less?

I don’t know shit about toro but I’ve been selling cars for years and can say there are zero cars available for 18% under sticker right now. That’s nationwide right now. In fact we’re selling used cars for new pricing. Oh and there are zero C-8s available brand new anywhere in the country. You’ll be paying 20k over sticker if you did find one. Used C-8s are selling @15k over the new price.
@Saimah's Experience. I'm on the east coast (Washington, DC region) where we get mild-moderate winters. I certainly comprehend your rationale & explanations for why certain sportscar & convertible models are on your "Top 5 Best Turo Cars" list. However, I'd be interested to hear from Turo hosts who own similar vehicles in locations that experience winters. If a host opts to rest their sportscars & convertibles (take them OFF the platform) during Winter. Then how do the numbers work out during the full course of the year?
Have you had problems with the Tesla with people running the battery to zero? I have 5 vehicles doing well and just bought a Tesla in January and every renter has ran the battery to zero so far.

Love your content! I wanted to ask you What your thoughts are about buying cars in the $5-10k range like a 2015 Nissan Sentra, Accord, Camry. Looking to get started with something that’s is low maintenance and economical that could possibly rent for $35-$45/day and not have to have a car note. I’m here in Southern CA/LA market. Do these cars do well or do you think higher end vehicles/luxury cars are the way to go?
Hi. Thank you for the feedback. Thinking of purchasing a used Corolla (maybe 2017 or 2018) to rent in Riverside, CA. Am I making the right decision? Lol
Hey, I have only $10000 budget and want to get into a turo car business, I was thinking about buying a 2016 dodge caràvan, but I think car you are listing are more expensive. What should I do?
Get 2 or 3 used prius, Honda Accord, and Nissan altima/maxima. They're used alot for lyft, uber, and Amazon. People will rent them for longer periods of time.
The best thing to do in my opinion is to always start a business with any creative idea 💡 you might have and build that business credit. Net(30) So eventually you’ll be to purchase more vehicles without PG (personal guarantee) with less down payment or none. And will be able to do write offs on taxes But starting off use what is available to you. But start that LLC.
After doing affiliate marketing, dropshipping, and many other hustles the stock market has made me the most money the fastest and easiest by far! No selling or renting anything to anyone, no shipping, no commute what so ever, you can do it from home or anywhere in the world with just a smart phone and I make an average of $1,667 a day sitting on my butt or laying in bed. I keep looking for other ways to make money but absolutely nothing compares and I always go back to trading stocks and crypto currencies because I haven't found anything that can compete.

makes sense. Cars that aren't dependable so everyone likes to drive them, but they don't want to own them (bmw, jeep)
can you make a video on cost of running Turo. Cleaning, Car washes, detailing, insurance. Thanks!
I need to tell my father about considering this. He has a 2019 Corvette Z06 and a Slingshot that sit in his garage.
I’m from miami, I’ve been thinking about getting a car for turo...I’d assume convertibles do really well in this city..
I'm in St Louis MO any recommendations
Thank you for the info and thanks for pronouncing Porsche correctly! :)
🤣
How about a video on gps tracker please? What ones have you used likes and dislikes about them
Thanks for your thorough explanation.Which insurance plan with Turo do you use for your luxury vehicles?
Did you get an answer?
Prius is #1 money maker monthly. If those 5 only get rented 1 or 2 days they won't really make money sitting in the garage. Prius is gone 20 plus days monthly.
What year and model?
Daily price for prius rental?
Aren’t 5-10k cars way more bang for the buck compared to these way expensive cars?
In Florida Im fully booked with bmw and audis 120$ 2017’s
Nice which models?
@@golurk9521 bmw 430i

If your getting a Porsche get ready for the high maintenance cost , but make sure to get CPO 2 year unlimited mile warranty .
It’s not that much more just find a good mechanic.
Great video ! Thank you for being so transparent
Thnx for the vid. Very informative.
Have you had problems with the Tesla with people running the battery to zero? I have 5 vehicles doing well and just bought a Tesla in January and every renter has ran the battery to zero so far.
Which cars are doing okay for you?
Waiting for my 21st birthday next month to put my BMW 2 series coupe on the platform here in south FL. So excited to start!!
Goodluck! Hows the insurance looking like ?
I completely and 100% related to what you said when you first started with stocks it all looked like gibberish. 😸
That is exactly how I feel right now. Intimidating. 😐
thank you so much, so much useful information
Looking forward to seeing how TURO will do in Alabama. Very interested in this business. 🤑
Did you ever start renting if so how did you do
I have two Tesla’s in North Carolina and they are doing really well!
Peace and prosperity, you’re info is top notch 🙏🏾
GIRL BOSS! ❤️ just subscribed!
Excellent video! I'm looking to start on Turo next summer as a new income. Watching your videos has been a huge help. While watching your C7 unload, I was wondering, who do you have deliver your cars most frequently? I'm looking to find a better service for my cars. Keep up the great work!
How do you ensure the renters put premium gas for the vehicle that requires premium gas such as BMWs?
THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE!!! 🤯🥰 I was one of the requesters! Lol

#5 Tesla
This Turo seems interesting. I agree about doing research but I would think that the Turo company would provide potential hosts with localized market data. I did subscribe since the info is valuable.
Have two model 3’s and typically booked most the time.
What is your avg car payment for 3 Tesla’s? And what’s your profit margin?
@@MrBklynTrini he said he has 2 of them not 3?
Quick question, what if a renters puts in the cheapest gas in a luxury car??? I give you major props, just seems like giving the keys to strangers in hopes they treat the ride like Gold.
Doesn’t insurance eat up your profits? Renting a Porsche to Joey bog of donuts has to be expensive.
Thank you Saimah for keeping it real, much success 2u❤🇺🇸🇮🇳
My Wife is an Iranian expatriate👍 🇺🇸🇮🇷
What do you think about getting a 2014 - 2017 Porche Panamera?
Also, what should be the max miles I should look for on a used car?
Which cars provide the best experience for renters.
Costs vs Margins.
Future outlook of how that vehicle will perform. Consider a 2-5 year commitment.
Can you do a video on how to get cars under LLC
Wonderful video! Thanks for the info!
What cars works best in Long Island, NY??? 🤔 Just curious.
Hi Saima, love the content. How do you go about finding out stats, what cars are renting well etc in your area.
Any thoughts on a Jeep Gladiator? I have done a bunch of research and have learned that Jeep Wranglers do very well on Turo but am nervous about getting into a Gladiator due to it being VERY SIMILIAR to a Wrangler BUT also a truck... I am in the PNW so there isn't a shortage of "outdoorsy people here/visiting". Would love any advice! Cheers!
I’ve also read the wrangler is a popular vehicle on Turo.
These differ by state based on TURO’s calculator
Hey first time listener, first time caller... I’m new to all of this and looking to getting my first car to start on Turo. What is your strategy for paying off the car? Do you stack profits to pay it off sooner or just pay according to the schedule of the finance
ALWAYS stick to schedule and use money saved for another down payment on another vehicle.
So great Saimah! Thank you for doing the research for us. I'm looking at the Macan and C7 for Phoenix market. Your videos are a treasure.
Hi, did you end up buying one for Turo?
Where do you keep all of your cars at? How many cars do you have?
Question what company u use for transporting that Corvette
How does the insurance work? Tho n all the paper work n such? Can you make a video about it plz.
I watched a lot of your videos and still learning which I appreciate. I know I will get into the Turo platform. I'm in NYC and I finance a 2020 Mitsubishi sport Highlander Brand new with 3 miles 6 months ago. I was thinking of refinance next month. I know New Jersey is having a good opportunity with Turo's. I have to move out to New Jersey or something to join Turo. Keep up the good work spreading the knowledge and wisdom. Peace and Love NYC...
I’m on Turo on nyc , you can use it but you have to open an LLC (which is not complicated) and you need to have a comercial insurance , Turo will give you 92% of the earnings , also if you have a friend living on New Jersey just post his address and offer free delivery on certain areas nearby your home on nyc , I did that and it worked , hope this inf help you in some way
@@egresz4011 Yes the info very helpful and very appreciate it. Also I do have a friend that lives in New Jersey. If I post his address do I offer free delivery near by my home in NYC? Peace and Love...
She’s so beautiful 😍
Good video. I would like to see a numbers breakdown for profit and expenses next time.
Agreed
Great video! I had a question tho I noticed you manly focus on high end vehicles, do you think economy cars do well on Turo?
If so would you be willing to make a video on which ones? That would be helpful!!
Keep up the great content!🙌🏽
Love your content! I wanted to ask you What your thoughts are about buying cars in the $5-10k range like a 2015 Nissan Sentra, Accord, Camry. Looking to get started with something that’s is low maintenance and economical that could possibly rent for $35-$45/day and not have to have a car note.
I’m here in Southern CA/LA market. Do these cars do well or do you think higher end vehicles/luxury cars are the way to go?
Yep - these are perfect cars from a maintenance point of view. None of these cars will attract A**hole renters who will do burnouts etc etc.
Hi. Thank you for the feedback. Thinking of purchasing a used Corolla (maybe 2017 or 2018) to rent in Riverside, CA. Am I making the right decision? Lol
Yes
Yes you are very reliable car low maintenance. You really don't have to get a 2017 you can get a 2008 - 2013 pay cash for it.
Oh my gosh! she’s gorgeous 😅
Thanks for all the value in this video!
@@ImTheShizNit44 thank you for the advice
Hey Saimah, do you finance or lease your new cars? and what are your thoughts in this market with inflated prices? tia
She is so beautiful
Hi Saimah, did you create an LLC for your turo cars/ are you leasing under that business or are they all under your personal credit?
Waiting for an answer to this question
Same lol ^
good qustion
Still waiting for a response
The best thing to do in my opinion is to always start a business with any creative idea 💡 you might have and build that business credit. Net(30)
So eventually you’ll be to purchase more vehicles without PG (personal guarantee) with less down payment or none. And will be able to do write offs on taxes
But starting off use what is available to you.
Would you recommend getting a Tesla with or without full self driving?
It’s different for everyone depending on where you live how the weather is etc.
Best profit is toyota Yaris
how often is the corvette rented on a monthly basis and which market is there a big demand.
I’m thinking about putting my 2018 Lexus LS500 on Turo. Any thoughts?
I just started your monthly mentorship program
what do you think about listing a car like the new Model S plaid? Expensive, but would be hardly any competition (comparable to a new plaid).
Great video!
Also, everyone around here should be knowledgeable of the bookkeeping ins and outs.
