It makes sense to me but I did not want to jump on it right away until I do a bit more research. Came across your channel and I love your content. if you got only couple of cars on Turo (and they dont have carsync anymore), i guess them spreasheets are fine. However, if you have like, 25 cars fleet, i d say dont work with Turo, there are Hyrecar and Getaround, which do work with Carsync.I am onvinced that Carsync is way better than any spredsheets bookeeping 25-30% off MSRP - that is VERY hard to get. I do this by charging $1000 per car per customer, and even for me thats an ennormously hard objective. Usually all dealers are SUPER professional when it comes to ripping people off and most (about 99%) of all customers wishing to purchase a used car (new cars pose no sense of buying at all), overpay on average 25-30% off the listed value, thats a sad fact.
Thats where im hitting the wholesale auction with my buddy. Giving him the car needed. Getting mobile mechanic check it. Were out of there. Might even buy two little Toyotas.

Don’t start turo period. Unless you have the value of your car in your savings in the event the guest crashes your car. Oh, you also forfeit your rights to sue the guest the moment you sign up for the platform (in terms of service) Turo is horrible!
I talke 40-50 pictures per check in and per check out so about 80-100 pictures round trip. This may sound like a lot but its not and only take about 2 minutes to do

I hosted my minivan on Turo for about 6 months. I stopped when the last guest left my vehicle (without my knowledge) at the airport parking lot and it was trashed. TURO gave me $35 net after their fees. They told me if guest doesn’t return the vehicle they only charge the guest a flat fee, no matter how far away they leave it.
@@angelbell8205 no, but it wouldn’t have mattered. I still had to go pick it up and get a ride to the vehicle. Very time consuming and lots of fuel wasted

This could definitely be a good idea! The main thing you would need to work out if is the car has enough profitability to share in revenue with someone else. If there's enough money in it then yes!

Of course it depends on where you are and what your market demand is but you’d be looking at somewhere between 5-10 days to cover cost. This is just ballpark depending on your payment etc.
Just found your channel a couple of days ago and I've already watched a bunch of your videos, and love them all. I love the market research idea and tracking the performance of each vehicle to understand the actual rentals. Quick question: since there are various types of discounts (early bird, 3+ days, 7+ days) off of the daily rates, when you calculate the Revenue (row 41), you're multiplying Days Books (row 37) by Average rate (row 34). Isn't this going to give a higher number than the actual revenue? Do you use another method to estimate the discounts so the revenue estimate is more accurate?
Is there any turo gurus like this that deal with cars you can pay cash for? I'm good at finding cheap cars and doing my own repairs and have a few cars now I'm considering renting. Will be for budget minded individuals.
It’s hard to depend on others but have a team in place a friend, girlfriend/boyfriend, or use a service like task rabbit inspection window is only 24 hours after a trip

I just wanted to inform you, I've been attempting to conduct market research, and when checking the calendar for the current month, future listings are not crossed out. Ive clicked on 20 plus vehicles, ranging from the current month to two months out, and nothing. I have no idea how many days the vehicle is being rented for and for what price. Im not sure if this is something new for Turo, but I've attempted my search on my app via cellphone and laptop and still no luck. Are future listings no longer visible via calendar or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Hmm it’s possible there are no future bookings for the listings you’ve looked at? I just checked in my market and I can see future bookings for the month of May
Hi Turo’s app has the history of all your vehicles stored. You can then make an excel from that if you want. We do not analyze it too much. To us it’s passive income n more than pays for the insurance. If you owe on the car then pay more towards it with the money that comes in.
