I have watched a ton of videos on TURO and I can honestly that this is one the best I’ve seen. It was honest, informative, and really supplies a roadmap to success. I love the fact that affordability was a constant theme. She proved that you can do extremely well with good choices and that you don’t have to go broke in the process. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Recently leased a 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan for 18 month at $760 a month. 7500 miles per year but over mileage fee is only $0.20 per mile. Cars have been booked 6 days for $350~370 a day so far in April. My next target is Audi E-Tron GT. There is lots of great lease deals recently.. such as Infiniti qx80 for $400 a month or Porsche Macan for 520 a month.. I would make about same profit with one car versus 3~4 economy cars..
*I've had a 2009 Focus 5-speed since 2010 and it's a rock-solid car with MTX75 transmission being practically everlasting - 2011 is the same car with some revisions - the one downside is windshield gets foggy in a couple of areas as the blower orientation is not optimal* *Past timeprint **9:20** though you show 2012+ model/s which you recommend against (I don't like them either)*
I am in Central U.S, & so far the only insuramce company that I've found that allows Turo shared drivers on the policy is Liberty Mutual. I started Turo 3 days ago, got a policy with Liberty Mutual, & have my first booking for 3 days on day 2!! Keep in mind that If you do not tell the insurance Co that you're using your vehicle for shared driving, they can deny a claim in case of an accident. This is NEVER a good thing, esp. for major accidents (heaven forbid!). So, I believe it's wise to be upfront with an insurance Co & ask if they allow Turo drivers. At least you'll know to look elsewhere if they don't. And you'll be covered with the policy the right way. I wish everyone all of the best with Turo!!
@Tee-wd6jq what do you do if your insurance company drops you after an accident? How high will your premiums be with that on your record? Minor things I can see, but if it's totaled, or there are injuries, or other property damage, your insurance company is going to find out. Do business legitimately people. Stop trying to cut all these corners . Lol
Interestingly, the Maserati Ghibli V6 is a turbo charged Chrysler (FCA) Pentastar engine (made by Ferrari). As with all used vehicles, especially exotics, keep in mind that while you may have bought a used Maserati Ghibli for only $30,000, the parts cost is for a $100, 000 car. In this case you can save some money on parts as many of the parts from the US engine are the same as the Ferrari built engine, however keep in mind the Pentastar is not normally turbo charged and this has resulted in premature timing chain failure (the timing chains are the same with both engines), which in this case can be as early as 60,000 miles depending on the maintenance level (you would think anyone that would buy a $100,000 car would change the oil regularity, but unfortunately on 1/3 of new car owners probably maintain their cars regardless of the price).
Respectfully, I feel your thumbnail is very misleading. I’m a fan and I even purchased your course on how to start a Turo business. You definitely inspired me to start my fleet and I’m glad I did. That said, I don’t think it’s cool or necessary to mislead people when it comes to the facts. No doubt you can bring in $1000 a month with a 2011 Ford focus, but that’s definitely not profit. Once you factor in the insurance, maintenance, cleaning, depreciation, etc, you’re probably in the range of $750 profit (give or take). I get it, $1000 profit sounds sexier and makes a better thumbnail, but you lose credibility when being deceptive.
Was purchasing her class worth it? It’s really expensive. Do you feel like you got your moneys worth out of it? Or is it just information you can find for free on RUclips ?
@@raymckigney2118 your right she talks about her fleet but I have yet to see a video where she shows all her vehicles🧐 all the other turo RUclipsrs actually show theirs at one point or another
I really appreciate your transparency, as this is helpful for us new and just getting started as host. How many cars did you start with, how are your bookings, and what profit range is more realistic to expect?
Confused, you said to buy a 2011 Ford Focus now while still within the 12 year old criteria for Turo, but won't you not be able to use it next year? or is it that they have to be within 12 years just when you start using them, then they are in your fleet for however long they last?
Just like you made an updated list of Turo cars can you make an updated list of turo friendly insurance companies? Not to be confused with the Turo protection plan but the actual insurance on the vehicle? What you've used and what you think has worked best for you.
There is no such thing as a friendly tour insurance company because your cars are not covert under your insurance. They're only covered with turo when the guest is driving the vehicle. No insurance company unless it is commercial will cover tour of cars. Because you don't have to file a claim with your insurance company. You only follow claim with toro that's important that you understand that. Now by law you have to have insurance on your car so if you were to get pulled over by the police that's different but you don't do. Any kind of follow the claim or anything like that again sure insurance companies only against turo.

Hi! thank you so much for all the quality content you're providing. Im getting ready to buy a car and I live in Phoenix, the Carculator feature on the Turo site says that Fiat 500's are the best care to list in Phoenix. How reliable is this insight in your opinion?
Hey. Great video. Can you list what specific cars you do own? I’ve been thinking to purchase 2019 Ford Focus Hybrid, but you are 3rd person who are talking about transmission issues, so now - I have doubts
You always say to buy around $10,000 below. I have been researching car prices for a few months now. First started when I was looking to buy my own car for other business use, which I then decided to buy brand new. Anyways, a car under $10,000 is a high mileage (+100,000 miles ). Does this mean you are suggesting buying a used high mile car? In my opinion and experience. Any car over 100,000 miles will begin to experience mechanical issues. This is why I decided to buy new because I did not want to risk buying a used bad car nor dealing with the stress of repairs. Can you please clarify prices and mileage in another video. Pleases share your experiences with high mileage cars?
The only downside I see with some of the cars you mentioned is their resale value. Even if you make a profit, you still need to recoup the initial investment. I prefer the vehicles you mentioned at the beginning because they won't depreciate as much as a Mercedes or Maserati when you sell them.

Hey so if I buy a 2011 ford focus right now and list it this week, come December 31, 2023 will I not be able to rent it on turo anymore if it’s already on there? Or will because it’s already on there will it be able to keep renting?
Love It. I am returning to Oklahoma from Philippines, will look at financing 1 for personal use after my Turo lease of 30 days then financing 2 or 3 more end of December to find massive discounts because these companies want to hit end of year quotes...question do you notice the leasing slow down Jan,Feb and March?
That'd be so dope if you experimented with The Audi or Beamer.... LoL Thanks for this list, I needed that... You definitely giving me some direction as to what to look into to start a fleet. You ran down your whole fleet... Sheeeessshhh... You're a car dealership I see LOL
ford focuses are genuinely so underrated, they are incredible cars. I would say they are as reliable as toyota camrys. I as a car dealer have bought so many of them, none ever had bad engines or transmissions (im talking models 2011 and down, facelift is just terrible. 08-11 is the sweet spot, with 06 and down having to choose between a terrible engine and a really reliable one, so youd have to know what youre looking at). only major issues are struts going bad, valve cover gaskets, Motor mounts(they are really bad for those), thermostat, and wheel bearings. I would buy 50 more in a heartbeat. ive sold 2 of them to some friends and they are still running strong. Also Mazda 2s are based on the ford fiesta platform which might be why they are less reliable, fiestas are not nearly as reliable as focuses. Hell, they use the same ford focus platform (engine and transmission) in the ford transit connect and those are fantastic too

I am returning to Oklahoma from Philippines, will look at financing 1 for personal use after my Turo lease of 30 days then financing 2 or 3 more end of December to find massive discounts because these companies want to hit end of year quotes...question do you notice the leasing slow down Jan,Feb and March?
Also, should we buy car from rental company for Turo? Thanks
not unless you want to spend $$$ on maintenance. rentals are beat up from day 1. there is a reason THEY are selling them.
Just want to say hello and welcome to Aubrey's new video editor
Where are you purchasing these cars for those prices
"Where" do you shop for any of these cars?
That'd be so dope if you experimented with The Audi or Beamer.... LoL Thanks for this list, I needed that... You definitely giving me some direction as to what to look into to start a fleet. You ran down your whole fleet... Sheeeessshhh... You're a car dealership I see LOL
So why did the Maserati leave your fleet?
What about vans?
I want an Audi Q8 or Q7 buut not for Turo I'm obsessed with 3 row too 😂❤good info
Q8 is only 2 rows
Can I ask why you got rid of the ghibli after 6 months?
Too many maintenance issues
Darn, I have a 2014 hatchback ford focus, that i want to start with
ford focuses are genuinely so underrated, they are incredible cars. Hell, they use the same ford focus platform (engine and transmission) in the ford transit connect and those are fantastic too
Our 2012 Kia Rio has been awesome on Turo
How much do you get monthly
