Great video! Yea I try to buy cars with above average reliability but even my Toyota has issues so you just never know. So far my cars are only lasting about 2 years before total losses . I'm currently testing the auction market but cars are still priced pretty high but a cheaper than retail I guess but they are very dirty and rough shape too. Lots of repos.....
First time seeing you video. Ultra informative soI subscribed! I assume you outsourced the video editor due to all the European license plates and images of the latest models. Probably was very cost effective but recommend getting another one. The multiple $1,50,000 and images of the latest models and not the gives off a “don’t care” vibe even though your business looks pretty successful. Glad to hear the Cruze did well and surprised about the Galant but this helped my decision buying. Thanks!
Liked your video alot, really wanna become a host. Im here in LA,its crazy out here lol. Im really interested in Hyundai and Kia. I read reviews and the engine problems got me really scared of taking the risk on them. Are all your Hyundai and kia under dealer warranty for engines?
I replace more engines in equinox and their Acadia twin than any other vehicle by far. STAY away from the V6's. The 3.6 is bad, but the 3.5 is worse. Transmission issues too
2017 and up I can guarantee Acadia is reliable yeah tranny went at 315000kms delivering driving up hills beating the crap out of it drifting daily delivery vehicule for 6 years in the end engine is still running tranny broke my fault pulling a car with a seized brake and I got mad and decided hell with it and went full throttle
I have an old car that i sometimes use but need to upgrade as family got bigger and considering i work from home and wont use the vehicle much, i started thinking about listing the vehicle which will be an SUV but i am wondering the following: Would it be a good idea to list on or not? What 3 row SUV would be recommended? I am just trying to do this to make the vehicle pay itself. What would be your recommendation? I would appreciate any feedback, i am in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
You have a lot of older cars in your fleet. I'm thinking about getting started. I thought Turo didn't allow cars over 12 years old. How does that work?
@@carrentalcoach I have 2 Fiats that did really well at first, but not so well now. I should have only bought 4 door cars. Toyota Corolla does well. Chevy Spark used to do well. My Kia K5 that is inconsistent, will do $1100 one month, then $400 the next. Jeep Wrangler was good but I overpaid for it in 2021.
@@carrentalcoach Hi, about how much is left from that after insurance, car washes, repairs ? For example, a car that rents out for $40/day @80% utilization makes $960/Mo. How much net profit is left after expenses req'd to keep it going (parking, car washes, repairs, insurance). If purchased for cash, so no financing.
I have a 14 town & country that I use daily & have had no issues at all but I have a 2018 dodge grand caravan that had issues 2 months after purchase! Think it was a guest that messed it up though bcuz I’ve had no issues after replacing the converters. A guest drove it back from Chicago with no gas cap and the door open. Something got into the tank and it started acting up but I didn’t have any issues b4 that
These guys are the best coaches out there!
What you are saying is true. I work for a car rental company and those are the cars that move a lot
Great advice for one who are into starting Turo, thanks
Any time!

It’s all about how the previous owner took care of the car. Still build quality and materials are a factor.
Thank you! Sounds like you are doing it right.
Following page due to waiting to see what your feedback will be on the cx5 ! Cx5 owner here and will be my first starter car
I think they are great!
@@carrentalcoach the biggest question is Na or turbo like the newer models

Some of them are but the majority are not under warranty. I think they are great cars especially when considering their price.
Thank you for your fleet review. Very helpful. Why are so many cars unlisted? just out of curiosity
A mix between open recalls, repairs, and sold vehicles.
Not enough love in the comments for that Kia Optima story. Ho-ly.
Thanks for the love!

Sorry, not clear from the video: How do your source for cars? Is it mostly auctions or is it like private party like Facebook marketplace?
We source them from auctions and other connections in the automotive industry.
Just bought a Kia Forte too! 😅💯
Let’s go!
Thats awesome, I'm also a Turo host, but I think I picked the wrong cars unfortunately lol.s The Kia Soul "weird looking car" is classic! 😂😂
What kind of cars do you have? They are weird but perform well 😂

What engine is a good engine for the. Chevy Cruz??
Why sell the Dodge Avenger if it's one of your best cars? Do you have a criteria for when to sell them?
It got totaled. Yes I do.

None at the moment.

Absolutely it is!

Seems like most your cars are over 10 years old, that never bothers guests or creates more maintenance issues?
Sometimes maintenance can be more expensive but it all depends on the make and model. Guests do not have any issues.
Audrey rates ford escape #1
I had a bad experience with one of them. The equinox I have are some of the best performing vehicles in my fleet.
why you dont delete the vehicle you no longer have?
I have some of them. I usually just filter them instead of removing. Some are getting work done.
What do you use for storage for all your vehicles?
I rent out a lot but there are many ways to store them! Book a call with us at carrentalcoach.com
Renters are the best storage.
Your list is like the greatest hits for most unreliable cars! Hahaha. Great video though, thanks for sharing! 🙏
Then what are the Best ones!!??
It is all from personal experience.
150,000 not 1,50,000. But great video otherwise
THEY MAKE MONEY HERE TELLING YOU THAT FROM TURO
Yes we do 🤑🚗
