I believe the Lincoln navigator isn’t a top performer in your fleet because it tends to do well when paired with airport delivery. A lot of your market is locals to Texas and they just need something to get around. Your business model is definitely perfect for the local renters but the navigator doesn’t quite fit that model.
My 2018 suburban that I purchased cash for 30k brought in $37k last year. I would need at least 5 beaters to make similar profit but difference is I don’t need 5 parking spaces
Thank you for this vid! Never thought some customers not liking the shape of some cars like the Mazda2. By specs alone, the Honda Fit with its reliability, mpg, small size yet spacious interior should rule them all but I get a person wanting a traditional looking car.
I’m with you on the Volvo S40. I had one that had so many mechanical issues, but it’s still my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Been on the lookout for one for my fleet
Great Video, you must've got rid of your Nissan Versas? I purchased a Versa after hearing you mention one or two in your fleet. So far my Versa 2021stays gone and is the best performer in my small 4 car fleet although I currently have to change the Alternator after having the car coming up on a year so it is what it is. Just purchased a 2021 Toyota Corolla and looking forward to seeing what it will do. So what happened to your Versa or Versas and did they perform well at all?
@@nate_2092 Thank you for the clarification. Does it mean that feedback on models older than 2012 has no value if I am looking for a car to rent out today? thanks
You can’t add them if they have more than 130,000 miles or older than 12 years old BUT if you add them within the requirements and they age and gain more than 130,000 miles, they can stay on as long as they’re in good condition.
Your top cars are no longer eligible due to age and the subsequent models have major transmission problems. Sonata's from 2012 to 2016 are under lawsuits for bad engine failure. Same problem with the Fords. Can we get a list for what we should look for today? Mazda 2s and 3s seem legit. I'm looking to find a 3rd vehicle to add to my Turo and want to try low price. Most cheap cars in my area rent for 40 to 45 consistently. I'd love to see what a $35 car would do.
Actually, the purpose of this vid wasn't a "what to buy". She has another video regarding this and she explains this in the video in the 1st minute. She and many others don't specify which car but focus on the criteria. She just wanted to share her experience w/ her fleet. She does mention "If you are looking at getting..." tips so I'd agree w/ the Mazda3.
Ford fiesta and ford focus will get thrashed faster ..ford fusion does good ..Also Chevy trax is good for me ..Also i recommend Chevy Malibu with less than 100k miles and also Toyota Corolla and Camry ….The Chrysler Pacifica is good too..I have a fleet of 45 cars on Turo in Texas .But the depreciation is soo drastic and maintenance..may be the profit only 12% to 15% to take account of all things like payroll and all those things ..some times I feel it’s not worth ..
The reason Honda is because they don’t use sound insulation which causes ppl who drive it trash it back: since the car’s sound level is offensive, the driver offends it back

There's a couple of good/reliable vehicles you missed "two 2011 Ford Focus"

Great video - organized and full of great into. Thank you.
Is there a reason you don't by cross overs / small SUVs, Hyundai Tuson or Madza CX5 for example?
How are you adding cars that are past 12 years?
If your car was added before the 10 year time limit, it can stay on the site regardless of age and mileage as long as its in good condition
What are the age and mileage requirements for the vehicles to list on Turo?
Were all of these cars purchased on the open market? Curious that they all were bought for under $10k.
You should just take your trouble maker cars to Car Wizard

The transmissions are terrible on these cars.
If you finance these car, who do you use to finance that will allow you to put on the Turo platform?
What is the age limit for Turo cars in your market?
The age limit universally is 12 years to be listed and then grandfathered once they surpass 12 years
Which car insurance is good and cheap ?
Uh How do you have cars that are over 13 years old? When Turo does not allow cars that old on the platform
Cars that are put on Turo before the 12 year cutoff are allowed to stay on the platorm pass the 12 year mark.
@@nate_2092 Thank you for the clarification. Does it mean that feedback on models older than 2012 has no value if I am looking for a car to rent out today? thanks
Great video! Which is your current top performer??
how do you put in fleet cars that are more than 13 y old, that's prohibitat with turo rules?
You can’t add them if they have more than 130,000 miles or older than 12 years old BUT if you add them within the requirements and they age and gain more than 130,000 miles, they can stay on as long as they’re in good condition.
You are awesome. Very upfront!!

She acknowledges her top performers are no longer eligible & the subsequent years have issues 🤷♀️
A convertible car here in miami would be super good right?
Do the clients care about how many miles are on the car?
Love Honda never had problems sorry for yours but had 5 Hondas and two of them have over 350,000 miles on them just normal maintenance
In the description can you write out the car make and model and rankings?
Hello ! And the Maserati ghigli ?
Do you think people or peoples rent your vehicles and use it Uber fleet?
The reason Honda is because they don’t use sound insulation which causes ppl who drive it trash it back: since the car’s sound level is offensive, the driver offends it back
Dont they have to be within 10 years old?
Good question
Awesome video! (Me & my wife also got married in Yosemite)
Awesome video thanks 🙏
How are you operating cars over 12 years old
NIce vid but slower speech would be great
Yeah you can’t have a car older than 12 years on turo so I don’t see how a 2008 is on the platform 🤷🏽♂️
🙏🏽💯
Fusions are pretty reliable. Especially the Hybrid models. It's unfortunate that yours had that PCM issue.
I think you over pay most of your cars
