I wanted to know if I should be good to post a vehicle on the Turo platform if it has a small dent on its rear (I think someone backed into me while I was park, nothing huge but visible) or should I get it fixed first?
@aubreyjanik Are you able to make a video or add a module to the car sharing master class that talks about how you manage your profits? For example 25% for savings, 25% for personal income, 50% save to buy another vehicle for the fleet. Hope that makes sense lol
I am a guest, thinking about hosting. I have a host that ignored a schedule change request and it expired. Auto msg from TURO says expect your reservation to remain as originally booked. I am shaving a weeklong rental to 6 days as we are leaving from our trip a day earlier now. Is this common practice? The host says "sorry, not sorry?" by ignoring the request? Options are limited for our trip now and I'd like to keep this car. This trip is two weeks out. Also, the listing for the car is all wrong. It says its a hybrid. There is no such thing as a 2024 Palisade hybrid. Other discrepancies in the description. But the car has 20ish good reviews. I am tempted to leave a negative review based on the lack of communication and ignoring of schedule change. Is that something they can have removed?
Be careful yall . I just had a turo executive support person tell me that I have to recover my car that was impounded 250 miles away from my home and they will not be compensating me for my time outside of some late fees. She was extremely rude and basically told me that it’s up to me if I want to let the car go to auction and lose it when I demanded to be paid fairly for my time and expense right recover the vehicle especially when it wasn’t my fault that it was impounded. She said non negotiable . This is what you will have to deal with if something goes south and they can’t recover the car.
@@tysofly3579 they would have but in this case the impound lot would not release the car to anyone but me. So turo basically told me I had to make the trip and pick up the car myself for free. They still paid the lot fees but would not pay me a dime for my time. It took about 8 hours total: a flight to Dallas, Lyft to the lot and drive the car back home. Very shady and illegitimate practices.
